We originally called them to come over to check our heating system last January. Since then we have had them back to install two new thermostats. This past October they came back to check our heating system. Very nice people to do business with. As a former business owner I appreciated the fact that a human actually answers the phone. They all are good to deal with. The techs were on time and did their jobs very efficiently. We have just renewed our annual contract with them and would certainlt recommend them to anyone.

Everybody was very helpful and friendly. The men who came in and installed it were very efficient. They got it installed quickly and made sure we understood how it worked after it was installed. They explained to us throughout the day what they were doing, so it was a very good experience all the way around. Scott, the owner came out a couple of times and he was as nice as he could be. He also made sure that we understood the equipment we were buying and the level of services we would get. So, we were very pleased.

The tenant is happy and educated on the use of the thermostat and she will be more comfortable with the system.
Description of Work: Mike the technician responded to a home being rented and checked out the system and the only problem was the tenant did not have the thermostat programmed properly and the tenant thought the air conditioning wasn't working properly. Mike showed her how the program worked and even changed the batteries. Mike proceeded to check out the system to be sure everything was in good working order.

Didn't go over well at all. I was informed I needed a new A/C. But technician said he couldn't determine which size of A/C I had. He stated "tag" was gone. So, now I am concerned of not getting correct size of unit, get to big, ya have problems with duct work, etc. For a new unit 13 SEER I was quoted a price of over $9,000.00 dollars. Oh and was told 10 year warranty, yada, yada.....but umm, I know the warranty comes from TRANE.....not like right now air was covering the warranty out of their pocket......LOL. I was shocked! I figured for that much he was quoting me a price of an 18 SEER......higher SEER the more efficient the unit. I talk to technician and asked what is the SEER, he replied 13.... I called around to get another quote and informed the technician from Right Now air......dude, I just got a quote for $5300 for a TRANE unit, 13 SEER and I can go to another home on my street see what tonage the builder put in.....I bought the home NEW so it was the original unit. The technician copped attitude told me "ya get what ya pay for"........ya, well I had a service agreement with this company for years......and figured I got what I paid for.RIPPED OFF! needless to say he wasn't interested in matching the quote from Sun Country. I canceled my Service Agreement and now HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sun Country, Sun Country now handles my rentals and my personal residence and have recommended them to other Landlords in Vegas and they love them! UPDATE to respone to Right now Air Response Note: Scott, I did call the office, receptionist answered and forwarded my call to a manager or owner of the company. I explained the problem and asked if they would match Sun Country and was told NO! Could have been you I talked to!

They are great. They are fast and we would use them again. They aren't the cheapest but we paid for quality and warranty. They came out quickly and it was all worth it. We noticed a loose roof tile so he scheduled a roofer to come out and take a look.

I have been a coustomer of RNA for 18 years. They installed the original HVAC in my house when it was buitl in 1993. When I upgraded my systems 3 years ago, I called on RNA to do the job. I see RNA twice a year (spring/fall) for 'seasonal' checks/tune-ups. Over the years, I have probaly called them, maybe 5-6 times, for emergency service. Every service call is a pleasure; their service techs are polite, knowledge and fast. My service tech for the last several visits has been Josh, a delightful young man who happens to love our Golden Retriever, Sadie; truth be told, Sadie also likes him too.
Description of Work: The most recent service call to RNA was a result of what might be called 'operator error'! Josh (RNA service tech), ever the diplomat, handle the situation well, patiently pointing out the fine art of operating the thermostat!. Neddless to say I was a bit embarrassd, but as I said, Josh was ever the diplomat. The human touch - that's what makes RNA a great company, Oh, their prices are not bad either. Thanks again. I contacted Right Now Air based on recommendatiions from Angie's List; they had great reviews. Our entire experience with them, from the initial phone call to the service tech leaving our house, was outstanding. They were professional, courteous and punctual. They contacted my wife at exactly the time they said they would and the service tech, Josh, was on-time, friendly and professional. Luckily for us, it was an easy fix; Josh was able to have us back up and running in just a few minutes. He presented us with the pricing information for the part and confirmed that we were OK with the charge before completing the installation and writing up the bill. With a $162.00 capacitor, the $250.00 total bill was reasonable. THANK YOU to Right Now Air and to Josh for a JOB WELL DONE.
Description of Work: After examining the A/C unit, testing the voltage, both inside thermostats and checking the circuit breakers (the a/c had been tripped), the service tech, Josh, diagnosed the problem as a faulty capacitor and was able to replace it within minutes.

Technician arrived on time and professionally dressed in a clean company van. I brought the technician up-to-date in regards to what had been happening with the A/C system and who had previously worked on it. Technician checked all of the wiring on the control board of the furnace before investigating the condenser unit outside. He re-arranged 1 of the low voltage thermostat wires on the control board. He proceeded to attempt to diagnose the condenser unit but was unable to keep the compressor running long enough to get accurate readings on his guages. He was unable to accurately diagnose the problem and suggested that I contact the previous company that had serviced the unit to find out what work they had performed. The following morning the technician called me back to apologize and inform me that he had incorrectly changed the thermostat wires on the control board of the furnace. I was able to correct this myself and in-fact the wiring had been correct before he changed it. Also, I was able to diagnose that one of the two capacitors on the condenser unit had failed and I replaced that part. I had also asked the technician to have one of their sales agents contact me immediately for a quote on a replacement unit. To date, I have still not received that call. I am disappointed with the service I received because I was actually left with a bigger malfunction than before the technician arrived (albeit it a minor wiring problem). I chose to use a different company for a replacement part because I did not feel confident that this company would correctly install a new unit based on missing some of the basics.

I believe it would be accurate to state that you had had some work done by another company on your system that resulted in some problems you were having with your system. I understand that the other company was performing a service that was a part of a utlity rebate program and had been to your home several times. Had we had known that information prior to us coming out we would have declined the call and refered you back to the company that you had been dealing with. Experience has taugh us that going behind another company who has been working on a system and can not solve the problem and is then involved with a utility program is a bad place for us to be. I am sorry for the frustration that this has cause you and I think we could have communucated better than we did with some of details. We contacted them a long time ago. I pay them on a monthly basis. I have a contract with them and they come twice a year to service the air conditioning and heating unit. They have always been very honest with us about what is wrong with our unit. They did not try to make things up to get more money. They also have some discounts. They come on time and are very clean. I was thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service and politeness of the woman who helped set up my appointment on the phone. She was extremely courteous and helpful. Since I was a new customer, she listened to my needs and scheduled the appointment at my convenience (w/in 2 weeks). She asked how I had heard of the company (thru Angie's List and a friend) and then asked me if I had a technician whom I had in mind for the service. They gave me a window of time for the service to be completed with Steve, called me the day prior to remind me of my appointment and then about 30 minutes before Steve arrived. Steve arrived promptly, was very professional and I appreciated him putting on the shoe covers before entering my house even though we have hardwood floors. He was efficient and appeared to be very thorough. He discovered a problem with a part that was going to go out at any minute. Since we had a home service plan, he recommended we call them to replace the part as it was really expensive and the other company could cover it as part of our plan for much less. When he left, he gave me a pre-printed receipt and note for the annual HVAC service plan I had previously signed up for along with a Friends & Family discount card to pass on for referrals (something I wish I had more of because I'd refer everyone we know!). Overall, I was very impressed with the service and feel confident knowing that I will be taken care of in the future. It's hard to find this level of customer service these days.

At no time were we concerned about the workmanship. They impressed us with their knowledge and skills. Due to Louis's many years of experience he answered all of our questions and concerns. Our workmen were: Pete, Alex and Michael and we highly recommend them. After the job was completed Louis returned to go up in the attic and inspect everything the men had done. He found everything to be satisfactory. He explained the new thermostats to us and we now enjoy cool comfort with pleasant memories of the experience.
Description of Work: One of our 2 air-conditioners & heating units quit working. We went to Angie's List and then decided to call RIGHT NOW AIR. We were informed that 2 men would come out and evaluate the units and then sit down with us and explain their findings. This was very helpful and informative. Our units were about 22 years old. We decided to replace both units. This was a 2-day job with 3 men working from 9-6 mostly in the hot attic. We were very impressed with their work ethics. They protected everything around the work area with drop cloths, removed or covered their shoes when entering the house. They took only 2 short breaks at their truck for water and/or food. They were always very pleasant and never complained about the heat.

Don't let the name "Right Now Air" fool you. I coudn't get a repairman out until almost 24 hours following my phone call. Bob was very professional over the phone so I'm not saying they are a bad company. They just weren't the ones for my emergency repair. I completely understand that their schedule was booked, I just hoped that their name was a testament to no kidding 24/7 service. I have a young child so we can't go without A/C.

Thank you for your honest feedback. After being in business in Las Vegas for almost 25 yrs this is one of our largest challenges. How do you provide fast service with a well trainned staff in the middle of a 110 degree day for every clients who has an A/C problem and still keep your staff busy when the weather changes and it is only 70 degrees? It is a balancing act to have enough man power and also not being force to lay off personel in the off season. Many companies have 2-4 days response time in the middle of a heat wave. We strive to never let our response time go beyound 24-48 hrs. One step we are not willing to take is to hire unsafe or unskilled personel just so we can handle more calls. We would rather turn the work away than provde less than top quality service. We are not perfect but we are a team of professionals who are committed to always improving. Company showed up on time, presented me with a multi-tiered schedule of services with a price for each. Tier depended on what the found to be the problem. They recharged the unit as well as perform the other service as laid out in the serviec tier. They did not try to sell me more than was needed.

I called Rightnowair at approximately 2 pm with a service request after my Home Warranty denied my claim and after the Home Warranty Company's recommended contractor was both rude and unable to diagnose the machine properly. I received a call from Ernie that a technician could be here within a half hour and because I was at school, I asked for it to be a little later. Ernie was VERY understanding and delayed the arrival by 20 minutes for me. I still arrived at my address about 5 minutes late from school and Ken was patiently waiting. He asked me what the problem was and I explained what the previous technician had told me. After reviewing the machine, he told me what kind of repair it was, showed me the price, what it covered and I used the coupon that waives the diagnostic fee instead of the Angie's list 10% off because that was the best deal. He completed the repair quickly and cleaned up the machine. He even made sure that my other unit wasn't suffering from the same issue. I was floored by this proactive action. While checking to make sure the unit was functioning properly, =he recommended that I replace my old mercury switch thermostats. I then told him I was concerned about disposing of the mercury in a landfill and asked if he could take both of them and he offered to do just that. I was presented with an invoice that was clear, easy to read and showed me the kinds of service and parts guarantees that come with the completed work. I paid for it, he petted my dog Henry and he left. I am sitting at my kitchen table stunned by the flawless start to finish service that I received today. I would gladly recommend both Ken and this company to friends and family.
Description of Work: Ken replaced a universal logic board on the machine that had burned. He cleaned up the wires that attached to it and made sure the unit was working. After looking at the machine on the roof he showed me the kind of service he would need to do and completed the job quickly.

We've been using them since 2007. We like them. They are good and reasonable. The lady that sold us our house recommended them. They have a discount program where they come out twice a year to check your heating and air conditioning. We are very pleased with them. They do a very thorough check and also check the vents in the house. They are always on time and do a good job. They also installed our air conditioning system.
