Raxmasters

We hired this company in Feb 2019 and I told my wife I wouldn't write a review because they did attempt to make it better. However it has gotten worse since then. The owner doesn't like to take responsibility for his mistakes. That is clear if you look at the other reviews that don't give him 5 stars. He tries to make it the customer that is wrong, not him or his employees. Poor business. We paid for 4 racks from them. Two of the 4 x 8 and two of the 4 x 6 racks for a total of $1140. The tech showed up on time and was professional. He had the racks installed in no time at all. Visually they looked great. The next morning we noticed that the AC upstairs was out and so was all the outlets in two of the bedrooms. No power at all to the outlets. I called an electrician to come out. They couldn't get us in for another day or so. When the electrician came out he quickly determined that we had blown a breaker. I thought it was just normal wear and that occasionally you needed to replace them. Well we were wrong. As he replaced the breaker and then was able to determine that something was popping the line electric line somewhere. The new breaker wasn't working. So the electrician asked "have you had any holes placed in the walls lately"? That is when I told him the only holes were the racks that were put in the garage. When we went to show him he was able to very quickly determine that the rack installer drilled his holes into our electrical wires. You could tell because when you climbed on a ladder and looked at the mount it was also burnt where the screws went into the wires. The electrician mentioned that the installer had to of known because the screws were torched. The electrician had to cut the dry wall out of the ceiling in the garage and repair the wire the RaxMaster tech drilled into. As soon as he did that the power was back on upstairs. Of course after all was said and done I called Raxmaster and the owner had the nerve to say to me "why didn't you call me instead of an electrician". I didn't call you because it was the electrician that pointed out it was you guys that damaged it. That is why. In the end, RaxMasters covered the cost of my electrician only, not the dry wall and not the lost time that went into not having power and fixing it. He then told me that in the future just call him as he could have fixed it and then he wouldn't have had to write a check to me for the damages. Who cares that your guys damaged it. Who cares that we were out of power for 3 days before it got fixed. Before he left he told me that if I ever needed any more racks or wanted to epoxy my garage that he would give me a good price because of their mistake. Now today, I called in an effort to give him a chance to make good on his promise of a "good price". I asked him the cost to move my racks to a new house we just got. He quoted me $500 to move them!!! $500 to move the racks the same racks we already paid for that he said he would give me a good price on. When I reminded him that he blew the power in my house last year and we had to hire an electrician to fix it, well he ghosted me. Stopped texting, replying, no smoke signal, not even a letter in the mail. lol Great customer service! They are good until they make a mistake and then well I guess your business isn't as important to them any longer. So overall: The racks are great, the installer was horrible and the over all customer service was very poor. I guess he ghosted me because somehow in his mind it must be my fault his installer drilled into our electrical wires.

Fantastic! I was having new garage door openers installed at the same time ( other contractors showed up at the same time) and it was no problem. The overhead racks are super sturdy, and the price for both was terrific.

It was very good. It was very reasonable. There was one person who came to measure and do the pre-installment and another person came to install it.

I had three 4X8 racks installed and they are great. The whole process went very smooth. The estimate was done very quickly and all questions were answered on the spot. The price quoted was spot on. I have recommended RAXMASTERS to several co-workers.

As planned and on time. Floor looks amazing. The only minor complaint I have is with there clean up. Pushed dirt and trash out of garage into bushes instead of picking up. Removed concrete and didn't cover stuff I garage and it completely covered everything with concrete dust. Floor is awesome though.

I think installer's name was Jorge. He showed up on time and helped me determine best location for racks. Job turned out great and racks seem very sturdy.

We purchased two 8x4 overhead racks to be installed in our garage. We called and spoke to the owner on a Thursday and set up installation that Saturday at noon. We received a call from the installer that Saturday morning asking if he could come earlier than that. He showed up on time and was finished in an hour (installed time was quoted for 1.5 hrs). He was professional and even helped us move some of our storage stuff out of the way before he started working. He checked with us exactly how and where we wanted the racks positioned and how low we wanted them to hang down. The job was completed, we paid with a check and it was a very simple and easy transaction. The racks seem to be good quality and heavy duty. We got an amazing amount of stuff off the ground to claim our garage space back. Our installer made recommendations for placement of additional racks if we wanted to do more in the future but never really tried to upsell or be pushy.

Jerry first of all, arrived promptly on time and was not only professional and courteous but fast and efficient. His work was so impressive that we also added the yard tool organizer. We are now very satisfied now that most of our things in our garage is now off the floor. Thank you Jerry!

Jerry originally came and provided me an estimate and set up an appointment for installation. He arrived promptly on time for the appointment. The racks were installed by him alone and the work was completed within approximately an hour and a half. He was courteous, pleasant and very professional. He knew exactly what he was doing and he impressed me very much. The price was fair. I would highly recommend this company

Jerry is a great guy to work with. He was prompt on calling and following up with questions. He came over to give us an estimate, and gave us several options on the size and location of our overhead racks. We moved from a house with a lot more storage, including a basement, so we need to maximize our storage options. His expertise helped us attain that goal. He showed up on time and did a fabulous job on installation. I definitely would recommend Raxmasters to our friends.

Jerry scheduled install in a few days and sent his crew out to install. Very friendly an polite and left no mess when complete. Racks are very good quality.

Jerry came out the day after I called him. He gave me ideas that would meet my storage needs and didn't over sell me. He performed the work quickly and professionally. Lifetime warranty. The rack looks fantastic (for a garage rack...lol).

The installation was perfect. Very solid materials and installation. The installer was professional and explained the process in detail. I would highly recommend this company.

Jerry Gamboa had installed racks over our garage door about two years ago. When I saw the reviews of RaxMasters on Angie's List (we have been members since its inception in Indianapolis), we called to get a quote on the installation of an epoxy floor; and that quote was about $500 less than another company's quote, and RaxMasters additionally removed and re-installed our water softener so as to do a more complete job. They were timely. We asked that they further coordinate with a pointer of the garage walls, And they accommodated us. A beautiful job by professionals.

Jerry was great to work with! Called on a Saturday and set up an appointment for the following Wed at noon. On Wed, Jerry called to tell me he was running a little early, which worked out great. Right about 30 minutes to install, and the rack is very heavy-duty. Great finish on tall the frame pieces, it doesn't look like a cheap afterthought someone just threw together. Straight, level, square, and looks great. What more can you ask for? No extra holes or marks on the ceiling, no mess to clean up, Jerry is definitely a professional. I would have no problem at all recommending him, or calling him back for some more work (thinking of getting the epoxy floor redone - currently a cheap DIY job that looks horrible).

Arrived on time; performed installation without any problems. You might want to check the different size overhead racks available. I didn't realize there were options and bought the biggest one. Not complaining, though.

He and his assistant were there about one hour. They great, clean, professional work. I spoke to Jerry before he got started and he explained what they were going to do and where they would install the racks. The work is excellent. I have already recommend him to friends of mine.

Jerry was on time, and very knowledgable about sizing and storage questions. He hung the storage rack in less than 30 minutes and also cleaned up after himself. I was also very impressed that he left no holes, scrapes or marks on the walls.

These guys did a great job!!!! The floor looks great and the racks are the best ones I have ever had. I recommend watching the (racks) video they provide.

Excellent work and very satisfied with the result. Jerry was very professional and courteous and my garage now looks great and is well organized.

After the first phone call, the racks were installed within a few days. Jerry was on time and very professional. We would recommend his services without hesitation.

I called Raxmasters on Friday and Jerry answered right away. I told him we'd like to put in a rack because we saw his ad in the Angieslist publication booklet. He had a cancellation for the next day and said he could come then. They were right on time. Jerry and his co-worker put in the rack in about 15 minutes, and we love it! We were just moving into our house and it was so great to be able to put things right up on the rack. It holds a TON of stuff and we couldn't be happier!!!! We had S.O.S. racks in the past but I'll not go back to them after working with Jerry. The price and quality was exactly what we were looking for! Thanks Jerry for making our garage space more usable!!!

I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. If we need more we will not hesitate to call them.

I called Raxmasters with very hopes in getting work done in my garage. I planned on having (2) heavy duty 4x8 racks installed and epoxy flooring for my 2 car garage. Impressed with the reviews shown here I called Jerry on Saturday 7/26/2014 at 11am. Jerry answered and sounded very busy ( which I understand), he told me he'll call me back in 5 min. Over four hours later at 3:44pm, I call him back to see if he was free talk. He sounded confused and asked me if he told me if he was supposed to call me back. I even let him know that he can call me back at a more convenient time (he sounded busy again). But he insisted he would call me back in 3 minutes. No call back. On Sunday 7/27/14 2:06pm, I sent him a text requesting what I wanted done and provided all my contact information. I was not expecting a call back since it was sunday, but at least he had my info. Until this day 8/6/14, I have not received any call back or response to my text. Sorry, I tried to give Jerry the benefit of the doubt and gave way more effort to give him money than I normally would have since he is rated so highly on Angie's List, but this time it didn't work. I am sad to give such a horrible review.
