+ 0 moreCarlos with Rapid Rodent Removal is one to work with if you have a rodent problem (he has over 250 Five Star reviews on Nextdoor, Yelp & Google). We had a dead rat under our house and it was stinking to high heaven & my wife was very stressed about it. We called a bunch of pest control 'services' and none of them would do dead rodent removal without signing up for an ongoing service agreement. We didn't like the feeling of being 'held hostage' by our smelly dead animal problem to agree to some long term service contract. Somehow, we were referred to Carlos. My wife called him in the AM and he was out the same day to solve the dead rat problem. We were so impressed by the quality of his rodent control service and his positive attitude that we got a quote to rat proof (rodent exclusion) the whole house. Carlos even made suggestions for how we could do it ourselves. We decide that we did not want a reoccurring rat infestation and hired him to seal the house against future rodent intrusions. It's been a little over a year and we have been rat free. It was money well spent! Call Carlos at 650-716-9558 (he's San Jose local)

Description of Work: A few roof rats got into the crawlspace under our house. RRR baited and trapped two rats, repaired around crawlspace vents, and put heavy mesh wire across all roof vents. I'd give them an A+ for clearing up our rodent problem. | |RRR also made us a new cover/door for the crawlspace. I was expecting a much more professional job on this part of the work given the description of their carpentry training on the website. They didn't even have a portable workbench to cut the wood. And they used cheap wood. | |So A+ for rodent trapping and exclusion and a C+ for carpentry.

+ -1 moreCarlos is wonderful and extremely honest and professional. Two years ago we hired another company (with more reviews and also an Overall A on Angie's) but they had to keep coming back and didn't seal all the holes, because I kept hearing movement in my attic. They kept telling me it was squirrels on my roof, but I was never convinced due to the level of noise and scratching. I decided to call different companies, and I liked how Carlos was so thorough iver the phone and new so much about his line of work. He came here, as found two other entry points that the previous company had neglected. He sealed them off and set traps. I now feel a lot more comfortable because I trust his experience and him as a person. He is honest with his recommendations and doesn't try to get you do to more jobs or spend unnecessary money. I would recommend him to anyone! Don't be fooled by companies that offer you a free inspection only to charge you a lot after to get you to resolve the problem. I'm never falling for that trap again.

Description of Work: I had a noise in my wall on Tuesday night - this is a problem, especially since I have a toddler. I called five places on Wednesday, got no response from two, got a 'we're very busy, we need two weeks at least' and a call from Carlos saying "I could be there in two hours"! | |He and his nephew Joshua came, did a complete inspection inside and out and took a number of photos. He showed me exactly where the problems were, what needed to be done and wrote me up a written estimate. His fee for the inspection was 150, which could be applied to the final service. As I rent, I had to call my landlady to get approval to work on the building. | |I got my approval from her and the HOA on Friday at 10:00am. I called Carlos and asked if he could get the work done the following week. His response: "Let's get this done for your son ASAP - how does 90 minutes work for you?". 90+ degree heat, and he and Joshua were there in an hour and got everything done that day. They closed up all the gaping holes around my dryer vent exits, capped all my other vets stacks with metal mesh, screws and aluminum tape. They flashed my fascia running boards, used metal mesh to cap it off and set traps in my attic for whatever might be trapped. Not only will they come back to remove the traps (and anything caught in them - thank goodness for that), the work is guaranteed! | |Frankly, I couldn't be more pleased. They are polite, friendly, very clear (explained what I was seeing and how they were going to deal with it, and what the different ways were and what the pros and cons were) and fast. They were also really thorough; the work is, frankly, a little overkill, but I'm not going to complain about that. The price was excellent - my neighbours were shocked at my cost vs. what they had to pay 5 years ago. I'd recommend them in a second!

Description of Work: Inspected rood, attic, eves, etc for rodents and/or droppings, but found no evidence. Made suggestions sealing off areas. Caulked off opening at at hose, and left screening for installation on the roof.

Description of Work: The team who came to my house were very professional. I received an estimate - they came back - it took 2 phone calls but when they did come and got caught in traffic they called me. They covered everything in plastic to keep my furniture, rugs and floor clean. When they were finished in the attic they took pictures to show me the results so I didn't have to climb up there. I would hire them again.

+ -1 moreWe had other people come and try to catch them but there was another family of rats just moved in. This guy was awesome. He plugged up all the openings in our house that were letting the rats in. He got to the bottom of the problem. We don't have any rats anymore. We could hear them scratching around when we were sleeping. They guarantee their work for a year so if we have anymore rats around or have a problem, they will come back for no charge and do whatever they needed to do.
Description of Work: We used Rapid Rodent Removal about three months ago to get rid of rats which were living under our house.
