Quantum Services

My experience with this company was very good from the appointment setting to the completion of the job. The guys showed up on time and gave me a very reasonable price to clean the carpets for my entire house. They were friendly, polite and professional. They were attentive to everything I asked them to do and had a great attitude. The next day I called them to see if they could re-do an area that was our main living room and gets a lot of traffic. The owner was very accommodating and had the guys come out the next day to re-do any areas that I wanted. I only needed one redone and it looked great afterward. My house is large and has a lot of carpet and I can't always afford to have it cleaned as much as I would like, but with the price and service that I received, I plan on having Quantum come back twice a year.

They no-showed. We called, left a message. Mike from QS called me, said he had been at the doctor's office all morning and did not know why nobody had showed up and that he'd call me back. When he called me back a few minutes later, he said that two sets of equipment had broken over the weekend, he hadn't been in the office, which is why nobody had shown up, and we needed to reschedule. Anyone who's ever gotten their carpets cleaned knows what sort of prep you go through to get ready--our house was in chaos, we'd spent the better part of the previous day getting it ready, we'd taken time off of work to accommodate this appointment. I told Mike that this was unacceptable, that rescheduling was not an option. I was calm. Mike got mad. He said that my saying that this was unacceptable was unacceptable, and that since this was through Groupon, I should just call them and get my money back because "they lose money on every Groupon" AND THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME. Since I was at work, I couldn't keep dealing with this mess, so my husband took over. He called Mike, who said that "maybe he took his frustration out on me." and that maybe they could get someone out this afternoon. This was no longer an option--we don't want these people in our house. Mike went on to say that he's just a 40% owner, that "Jaime" was the majority owner and the "mouthpiece" (seriously, can you believe this guy?!) and that he'd be in touch. So far, we haven't heard from Jaime. We don't expect to. I got my money back from Groupon, and they said they'd deal with Quantum. My advice to you is that you DO NOT USE this company. There are too many rug cleaning companies in town to put up with this sort of disrespect. I have a very high opinion of Groupon, but Quantum Services doesn't deserve your patronage. Quite frankly, I hope Mike sees this and realizes that Las Vegas is a small town and that every potential customer knows hundreds of others. I know I'm not the first person his company has treated in this manner (a quick Google search told me that...wish I'd done that months ago!).
