I googled angi, This guy called afew minutes later, we talked a bit about the issue, he quoted a price of $330.00, I agreed with that price. He said he will send someone to do the work. That person showed up at my door with paint splatters all over his clothes from head to toe, did not introduce himself. See above paragraph for rest of details.

Gervontay mounted my TV and hung two ceiling fans. He did an amazing job and was very helpful. I will eventually need more work done and plan on working with him again. He was extremely professional.

When he answered my call after getting my info he asked if anyone else was home with me, I told him no why and he said if a man was here, they would try to tell him what to do. I said my son would be home soon. He arrived with in 30 minutes of his call. I explained, I had purchased an antenna from Amazon for $155 for my living room TV. I also had an old TV antenna on my roof. I did not have an antenna for the TVs in my two bedroom so I asked if he could provide them or did I need to purchase them. he said he could run the line from the antenna on the roof. Also, I showed him that my grandson had connected the antenna to the TV in the front room previously but we did not know how to access it. He also told me I needed a better cable and he would do that. he said he would set up the streaming services I had but I told him I could do that and went in the kitchen to get the passwords for them in about 10 to 15 minutes he called me and said he was done. He said he had climbed on the roof From a low point in the front of the house and hook up the two bedroom TVs. He then took me to the bedroom and showed me how to click on the live antenna channel and how to access the TV guide then in the living room, he put the antenna on the wall And showed me how to click on the live antenna to access it when I asked him how much he said $777. I told him I felt like that was too much but he said the cable was expensive. He did not give me a receipt, but spelled his name on a paper for me and watched me make out the check. He said he also did other jobs and named them , so I asked for his card I am 90 years old so a little slow on all this new stuff and it took a while for me to check around after he left. He did not replace or use any new cable and the TVs in the bedrooms are not working except on free TV , the picture in the living room is not as good quality as preferred as my eyes are poor, but I do not know if that is due to poor placement of the antenna as it is now stuck to my wall and can’t be moved to check he went to my bank right after leaving here and cash the check.

Gavontay diligently gave me an estimate to remove an existing chandelier and replace it with another. My wife and I decided it was not cost-effective to perform the replacement, so we did not utilize QualityWorks' service; however, I was so impressed with Gavontay's response time and professionalism that I will use his company in the near future for repairs and maintenance at my commercial property.

Gavontay gave me an initial quote, of $180 to fix a silverware drawer in my kitchen that had fallen off the rails and was not able to be opened easily. I said that’s a fair price and to go ahead with the repair. He installed a rear bracket and fortified the railing with screws and said he did soldering on another bracket. When he said he was finished I tested it and noticed that the drawer rails didn’t have any stopper so that the drawer could be pulled completely out. I told him that I have small kids and I was concerned about safety so he said he would take some scrap pieces of wood and make something that would do the job. I told him it would be aesthetically better to install new rails with a stopper built-in and he said he would have to replace the wood inside with hardwood at that work would cost me $1,000. That price seemed excessive for one drawer so I went with his wood scrap solution despite it looking ugly. He finished the repair and said that the job was going to be $380. I said that amount was $200 more than what he quoted and that was nearly all the money I had in my account at the time and asked if he took credit cards. He said that he left his card reader at home and so I needed to pay with Zelle, cash, or check. I wrote him a check. Before he left he said, by the way, I guarantee my work so if anything breaks with this drawer to call him and he’d fix it. The drawer broke the next day. I called the number a different guy answered and said he would have Gavontay call me back. It’s been two days now and no call back and my drawer is still broken.

He was very professional, responded in less then 2 mins, I was very paranoid about getting my work done by somebody not having the right certifications but he ended up showing me his electrical certification and his HVAC certification and that made me feel very more at ease. Also when talking about the pricing he was very understanding and he actually let me pick my price of my projects. His prices beat everyone that I spoke with about my projects! I will definitely be calling him back out he was very fast and worked efficient and got the job done in no time.

He was very professional and polite, contacted me in no time. Fixed my leak that was damaging my dry wall. He replaced the light fixture for free because he was already working in the area and didn’t mind putting it up for me. Very hard worker got the job done fast no complaints.

He was really polite and respected my home. He came and installed a new ceiling fan, a couple of GFI, he also patched a few holes in my wall. I can’t tell there was ever a hole.
