I have to say I was really impressed with this entire business, very professional and knowledgeable, great communication, even a nice logo if that means anything. I'm really picky and can be a pain in the a customer so it's not often I'll go to this trouble writing but here it is. I needed a gas line relocated to make my oven fit against the wall without sticking out, the old oven had a cavity in the back but the new one is solid on the back. After requesting a free estimate Ray came out and we had a good conversation. I asked a bunch of questions and I drew a sketch to explain how I wanted it to look and told him I could do the drywall if he can manage the gas line. I do a lot of DIY but not gonna mess with the gas line. Ray returned in a few days and installed a new valve / stub for our gas range. I patched the drywall & now everything fits into a nice pocket. Ray was also able to answer my questions from RO to salt softeners and a leaky toilet. Offered good advice and didn't try to up-sell me anything I wasn't asking about. I would not hesitate to use these guys again.

The installer that came out was great and the overall experience was good. What I was really surprised about was the price. It cost over $1,100 to uninstall an old ceramic sink & faucet, install a new stainless steel drop in sink, a standard kitchen faucet and a dishwasher. Part of this was because I learned the hard way that dishwashers literally come with nothing you need to install them (drain lines, power cords) and you have to buy all that separately. There were also a couple of other things that were required for the faucet and sink install that the technician had to go purchase. I should have price shopped them but I was in the throes of moving and just wanted it done. I was able to order the power cord for the dishwasher on Amazon (because of course Lowe's can't be bothered to actually carry them in-store) and the technician came back the next day and finished the install for no extra money (thank goodness). The service was impeccable and I have to say, it is fun (and a little sad) to watch people's mouths drop open when I tell them how much it all cost. :-)

Came out in the evening to do this for us. Jack had it handled efficiently and perfectly. Their pricing is good and their service is excellent.

They did turn off water and chck for leaks but didnt lime how they tried to sell her on other things, this is a senior on a budget.

This will be a long review because I had Pure Plumbing do a long and significant project. I find that due to a glitch with Angie’s List, the reviews go live as one gigantic paragraph even though I always write reviews with multiple paragraphs. I will show the end of each paragraph with the following: “//”. I was without a water heater for more than two months and the fall season was approaching. My water softener that I bought at Lowes was approaching its ten year life. I knew that this old unit had the potential to break down at some point. So I was in need of not only a water heater, but a water treatment and leak prevention solution. I have been burned twice in four years by leaking water heaters that have done damage to my drywall. So I was not just looking for a replacement water heater, but something that would also help prevent leaks and give me peace of mind.// I called the office and made an appointment for Donny to stop by at 8am and give me some suggestions and options that would best fit my needs. After I made all of my decisions, Donny said he could install everything that day! I had the whole system finished at about 8:30pm!// I opted for a Bradford White 40 gallon water heater. Of the total amount I paid for everything, this water heater cost $1,877.05. This comes across as too expensive. But it is the ten year unlimited warranty price. Not only that, but with this option, Pure Plumbing schedules a flush of the water heater, anode rod inspection and home plumbing evaluation every year for the next ten years at no additional cost. And they also include a ¾” full port drain valve. This enables the plumber to do a more effective flushing because the full port drain valve is larger in diameter allowing for larger chunks of sediment to drain out during a flush. Other standard features include a drain pan, sediment trap, gas flex line, safety straps, new T&P valve, stainless steel water lines and a ¾” full port ball valve at the incoming water line. All applicable code upgrades are part of the installation. I had Donny use my own drain pan I purchased at a hardware store because it is taller than the standard one offered. So it might reduce the chance of leaking water going over the top of the pan. I also installed my own PVC piping to the pan and attached it to the drain hole of the pan so that most leaking water can channel through the pipe and away from my walls.// For the treatment system, I opted for not only a water softener, but also a carbon water conditioner. The carbon conditioner’s blocks out chlorine, chemicals and traces of medications from going into the home water system. So I am getting healthier water. Both tanks are connected. Donny mentioned the piping connecting them is strong enough that they can recharge simultaneously with no problem. A ball valve was installed just past the pipe that brings incoming water to the conditioners. This valve enables me to shut off all soft/conditioned water to the house. It is a great idea because it stops all water from going into the house (except the cold side of the kitchen faucet and the refrigerator water dispenser). So I can turn it off whenever I leave for an extended time and know that my irrigation will remain on while 90% of my fixtures and appliances inside my home will have no chance of leaking. Once I received the manuals, the display pad made it easy to understand the programming of hardness, time and recharge settings of each tank. The one thing that could have been done better is related to the carbon conditioner installation. Donny did a quick recharge and then let some water go through the tank and out into the gutter. But he did not purge that much residue out. So late at night I had dark gray water in my toilets, tubs and sinks. I had to fill and empty the tubs and sinks as well as flush the toilets multiple times to finally get the water to a normal aqua color. Then I had to use Clorox toilet bowl cleaner to clean the dark gray staining in the toilet bowls and around the tubs. Anyway, with a more thorough initial purging of a carbon conditioner by the plumber, a homeowner won’t have to spend as much time running dark water through their system until the water gets to a normal state.// Just past the water treatment system is a smaller blue sediment filter tank. This blocks particulate matter from going into the water heater and home plumbing system. Less sediment helps the water heater to last longer and will block any resin beads from going into the house in the event of a softener malfunction. With the sediment filter I did run into a problem a week later. It started leaking. It was only a slow dripping type of leak that created a large puddle on the concrete floor without damaging any drywall. After shutting off the water, I had Matthew, the on-call plumber that diagnose the issue. Matthew found that I had water pressure that was too high at close to 90 psi and that this was causing the leak! When he tried to reduce the pressure, he found that my pressure relief valve was broken and needed replacing. Once he replaced it, he reduced my water pressure to about 62 psi and reconnected the sediment filter after emptying it. I have some constructive criticism for Donny. Always measure a home’s water pressure when installing these water treatment systems. Had this been done, then the pressure regulator issue could have been addressed during installation and then I would not have had to call Matthew late at night a week later.// And finally, Donny installed a Floodstop brand electronic water heater shutoff valve. A large water sensor is placed in the drip pan that is connected by wire to a control panel, which in turn is connected by wire to the electronic valve. As soon as the sensor feels the smallest amount of moisture, the system automatically shuts off the inlet pipe that delivers water into the water heater. So if my water heater leaks and I do not have the manual ball valve for the home’s soft treated water shut off, then the flow into the water heater will be automatically shut off by this electronic valve. The benefit is that the only water that will leak is that which is in the water heater tank instead of an endless flow of new water until the homeowner returns (my experience twice in the past). One thing that didn’t work out is the adhesive mounting behind the control panel. No one at Pure Plumbing should ever attempt to use that mounting option in a garage. In the hot summer, the control panel falls right off. This was my experience just 24 hours after Donny finished. He then had to take time to return a few days later to hard mount it. In a garage, this should be the only mounting option. Two extra holes being drilled in the wall to hard mount the panel is not a big deal considering I already had several other holes drilled to secure the other parts of the whole treatment and water heating system.// Another criticism I have is the choice of surge protector. To plug in the softener, the conditioner and the Floodstop control panel, Donny used a Defiant brand six outlet wall mount surge protector available at Home Depot. This was not a good option because the six outlets are in three rows of two. Consequently, the ac adaptors were jamming against each other and one of them was only able to be inserted half way into an outlet. It not only looked ugly, but also hazardous. A better option whenever a plumber needs to plug in three ac adaptors is to use a surge protector that has two rows of three outlets. This way no adaptor jams against another and each one is fully seated in the outlet. I purchased three different adaptors and then had Donny decide which was best to use on that day he returned. I bought a Sanus 6-outlet Super Slim Surge Protector on Amazon, and two different CE Tech brand surge protectors at Home Depot. Donny then chose the Sanus brand as the best replacement and it was a much better fit for the adaptors.// After everything was complete to my satisfaction, Noel recommended getting a city inspection of the water heater. The city inspector came, took a quick look at the water heater, tugged on the safety straps a little and then signed off on the inspection to make it official.// While there were some mishaps during installation that caused me inconvenience, I want to emphasize that Donny’s workmanship was excellent. He spent more than ten hours installing a solution that addressed my two major concerns: (1) a way to shutoff most house water while keeping the irrigation system on and (2) water heater leak prevention. I also love the condition of my water. Despite the errors, the important thing is they were minor and able to be corrected. Sometimes with a major project, mistakes are made that require the plumber to return until the status of the installation is considered complete. Overall though I have to say that Donny did an outstanding job. I observed everything that he did and I can tell that he is among the best. His communication skills are excellent. I am the type of person who wants to understand as much as I can about what a contractor will do while at my home. And so I constantly asked Donny plumbing questions all day. He never got tired of answering them and talking about his plumbing experiences. In addition, the office staff is helpful and professional over the phone whenever I had questions, voiced concerns or needed to schedule the inspection. Good teamwork among all employees is evident.// I interviewed several competing plumbers and could tell that they were not as qualified to address my concerns. Pure Plumbing clearly demonstrated that they were part of the solution to my plumbing problems and had an expertise and knowledge that I could not find in any other competing company. They enabled me to move on with the confidence that I have a system that will be reliable and beneficial for many years to come.//

It was really good. We really were very happy with the guy that came. He was very nice, he was very friendly. We really like him. He was very cooperative and he explained everything and gave us advice.

Called Pure Plumbing first thing in the morning and they had me diagnosed and up and running in two hours. Very responsive, attentive and professional. Will use them again in a heart beat.

After a long day of travel I was exhausted, hungry and thirsty. To my surprise at 9:30pm when I returned home, my water shutoff valve in the garage would not work when I was trying to turn my house’s water back on. I had no water at this late hour. Fortunately, Pure Plumbing has an on call plumber every night to help people with problems that cannot wait until the next day. Donny came to the rescue. He determined the valve assembly broke off on the inside which was the cause of me not being able to get water. He got to work and did a thorough and meticulous job with his tools and expertise. Now I have a brand new shutoff valve that I can rely on. I paid by cash because it is my policy not to allow a contractor to write my driver’s license number on the check. I realize the company has to protect themselves, but I must protect my identity as well in this day and age. The principle of protecting oneself does not merely apply to the contractor, but it is just as important from a customer perspective as well. I am not used to contractors making this particular demand (in fact, it has never occurred in more than sixteen years of personal check payments that I have made to companies that have done various work on my home). Fortunately I had the full amount in cash on me. I want to thank Donny for coming through late at night when I was going through a difficult time when I returned from my trip. For Pure Plumbing to have an on call plumber every night is genius. Without this arrangement, I would be without water and forced to drive to a hotel. Thank you.

I have used Pure Plumbing in the past for a water softener unit and some basic plumbing work and was very pleased. This time my Noritz Tankless Hot Water Heater was malfunctioning, and after talking to two other Plumber companies that were referred through the manufacturer website, and them not being able to assist with my issues, I called Pure Plumbing and was happy to hear that there were qualified to work on the Noritz brand. Everything was top notch, the initial conversation with the technician scheduler to the prompt arrival less than 24 hours after I made the request. I received a text message and email with the technicians name and pic so I knew whom to expect at the door. Joe and his assistant (can’t remember the name but super polite and professional guy) trouble shot and called the manufacturer immediately. Unfortunately the replacement parts were costly and would take a week to arrive so we decided to just replace with a new Rinnai Tankless Hot Water Heater. From show up to job complete was 4 hours! If you are in need of a Plumber, don’t hesitate to call Pure Plumbing…always top notch service!

initially called Pure Plumbing at around 12:30 pm and spoke to Alexis and she said that there would be someone to come out and give me an estimate from 4-6pm. I said that would be great. I received a call from Alexis about twenty minutes later and said that someone could be here in approximately twenty min. Alex showed up and fifteen minutes later and the pipe had a soldered spigot. Very quick and very courteous. Kinda pricey for $15 worth of materials and fifteen minutes of work but when you don't know how to solder a copper pipe and have no water to the house....$200 is the price I guess. Will call again if there is a plumbing issue at the house.

Outstanding quality service from the very beginning. I spoke with Kylee to ask if the problem I had was something they could fix. She passed along my inquiry to Jeff (Service Manager) who called me back for details. After discussion, I was given an appointment to have the drain/unit assessed. Scott and Kyle arrived and thoroughly reviewed the situation. Scott was upfront about the best solution and suggested I call an A/C pro to perform the work. He left me photos and detailed notes to pass along to an A/c tech. When I mentioned that I had previously called an A/C service who came out (and said they couldn't fix it), Scott went beyond quality service when he offered names of a couple of A/C pros he thought would be able to handle the job. I am currently working toward a solution with one of Scott's suggested A/C pros. The staff at Pure Plumbing partnered with me to find the solution even when they couldn't perform the work. They did not charge me for the service call/consultation...how often does that happen?! Very appreciative of everything they did to help me with this frustrating problem. I am planning to renovate a bathroom and the company I'll call to perform the plumbing work is Pure Plumbing.

Arrived on time, very professional, he found that the leak was from the spa motor not the plumbing. Since they don't repair motors I've decided not to use it for now. I will definitely call Pure Plumbing again for my plumbing needs.

I made some research and the part was a total of $120 with taxes. My surprise was when I saw the estimate from PURE PLUMBING a $600 job!!!!!. I couldn't believe it, I immediately cancel the job and talked to their representative and told them that I knew how much the part cost and that for $600 I could've just bought a new toilet from the beginning. They tried to lower the cost to $475! it made me upset that this company is trying to take advantage of people.

They immediately responded, sent a crew, stopped the flow of water which was running river-like from our garage into the street and within hours we had a brand new water heater installed. This is a very professional company from the time they answer the phone and send a tech to our home to (a) stop the water and (b) bring in a new water heater unit within hours. This was all done professionally. This is why we subscribe to Angie's for moments like this. We are seniors and needed help and Pure Plumbing provided it.

This is the second time we've hired Pure Plumbing to do work for us, and we are so happy we called them again! They checked out the issues we were having in our new home and took care of everything very well. They are quick, professional, and prompt!
