+ -1 more2 plumbers came out and did a good job finding the leak and fixing it. They really did a nice job of cleaning up after finishing the job. They quoted us $850 to patch the leak or $2800 to replace the entire pipe. We went with the patch job and we got a little discount for being an Angie's' List member.. I will keep my finger crossed that we don't get more leaks in this main water line. I did think it was a little strange that 1 plumber left for 90 minutes to do another job after beginning our job, he said they were running behind schedule and the plumber that stayed could do the first part of our job, which was digging and preparing for the patching. The plumber that stayed was finished digging and prepping for the repair in about 20 minutes so he waited around for over an hour for the other plumber to return.so they could finish the job. .
Description of Work: Patched the main water line. There were 2 pin hole size leaks in the main line in our yard near our sidewalk.

We thought their price was a little high. They double-checked the irrigation system overall just to make sure.
Description of Work: We live in a desert environment in Las Vegas so we have an exterior landscape irrigation and the control box was filling with water so we knew we had a leak or something loose somewhere and we couldn't figure it out for ourselves.

I did research on Angies list and found that other companies on Angies list did not offer the total no hassle cost and that was the chief complaint under their reviews. So I found the Pure Plumbing review who offered one total cost that was it, no questions and no hassle, just come and install the new hot water heater. They did a great job, and cleaned up all the mess after they have left, and I could not be more happy. I would use them again as I don't have time for monkey business. When you do your own research of the other companies hot water deals, look at the complaint section and you will find items like : 1. Extra charge for license 3. Extra charge for this or that. So that cheap deal wasn't a deal after all, you end up paying for it, so why don't they give you the total price like Pure Plumbing does. ? So buyer beware and shopper beware.

+ 0 moreI called Pure Plumbing in a panic -- water was coming out of one of my toilets and out of my shower drain in the master bedroom and the bathtub in the guest bathroom. I was told that they would have a plumber out in two hours; he showed up in one. He got right to work, and in a short time figured out exactly what was wrong and exactly what was needed to fix it. While my service man was unable to repair everything in one evening (it was already well past 10pm), he promised to be back the next day to finish everything. At his word, he not only arrived when he said he would, but it was, again, about an hour earlier. Twenty five minutes went by, and everything was fixed and working like new. My drains now work better than they have in years.

A follow up call was made asking about Mike's work and if the job was completed to my satisfaction. To my surprise, a few days later I received a thank you letter and a Starbuck's gift card. Would call again.

+ -1 moreMike was the service man who arrived at my home, after calling to say he was running through his appointments much more quickly than expected. He arrived within 20 minutes of calling, I showed him the situation. In that I had already purchased the replacement valve, and had the necessary tools to complete the job, he went right to work. The whole project took about 15 minutes. Mike was very professional and also discounted the fee to account for the valve that I had already purchased. I have my shower back!
Description of Work: Had been attempting to replace a mono-valve in my shower...when it proved to be wedged in the shaft, I was unable to go any further with the project. Saw their ad in the Angie's booklet, and the rest was history.

Ordered the part necessary to do the repair, shipped to our house, and were able to come back within an hour of receipt to complete the repair.

The pipe that was broken in my shower was behind the sheet rock layer and could have required breaking through my exterior wall which would have broken the stucco. He was able to avoid doing this and replaced the pipe from inside the home. He saved me a lot of money by being able to do this.

+ 0 moreIt went very well. He came out for a specific reason and I'm 95% satisfied with what he did and for me that's good. He was extremely professional, very polite, and very clean. He cleaned up well, there wasn't much to clean up but he was conscientious of what he was doing.
Description of Work: I ran a camera down the drain line to see if it is clogged. We had a sink hole in the front yard and it is where the drain went and I want to make sure that there's no leaks so he had the technology and equipment to put a camera down it and we were able to look at the whole thing. He was the only one around with the equipment to do that and was willing to come out and just ran the camera down. It's the first time I've used him.

They were pleasant and nice and efficient, neat and clean too. they're work was perfect and better than I expected. They installed 2 new toilets I bought at Costco. they work perfectly and there are no leaks. they connected the drains, installed pipe and hooked up kitchen sink and faucets along with the dishwasher connections and vent. also, they put together the new bathroom vanities (2) with new sinks and faucets. Just had new laminate flooring installed throughout the entire house, so it was extremely important to have zero water leaks. I am very please and would recommend Pure Plumbing. Prices are in line or better than other estimates I received.
Description of Work: connected all new sinks, faucets, and toilets (my remodel project). They were on the job on time and stayed focused getting everything done in a few hours.

+ 0 moreFYI, we had previously leveraged Pure Plumbing earlier this year, based upon Angie's List recommendations; and were sold on Andy and his team, with the great work they did both on performing maintenance on our water heater, as well as replacing parts on our five 8 year old toilets. And this time, we had a different need and the work was just as fantastic. It is obvious to us that Andy and his team care about their clients and intend to have repeat business. I already trust Andy with all of our future plumbing-related needs, as well. This is one of the most professional companies that I have encountered in recent years, since the economy took a turn for the worse, in 2008 (and before). There are no cost surprises, they tell me what they intend to do, and if I have questions, they answer everything to my satisfaction before proceeding. I wish Andy and his team a long and successful career, which they deserve. And while they are having a successful career, I will have peace of mind, knowing that I can trust this company to help ensure the good health of our home.
Description of Work: Andy came out to caulk our master bathroom shower, and take care of our backed up (8 years' worth of hair, as it turns out!) shower drain. He also added another last minute requested task to his list - cleaning out a master bath faucet drain - and finished Everything in about an hour. And the completed work was stellar.

He also installed a shut off valve (for inside house water) near the garage, so in the future I don't have to go to the street to shut off water to the house. He had the entire job done in half a day.

+ -1 moreAgain, they are extremely professional and pleasant. When you call their office someone always answers and you are not bothered with voice mail. They come promptly and we would definitely use them again. They will be our permanent plumbers.
Description of Work: When I first called and spoke to the owner Andy, he was extremely pleasant. He said he would come out for an estimate which he did and brought his assistant Travis. They were both very pleasant and professional. We wanted three bathroom faucets replaced (we had the faucets already). We also wanted a new stainless steel kitchen sink, faucet and RO faucet. We wanted Andy to buy those. We also wanted a sliding handheld shower head. They sent a detailed estimate which we agreed to. They came to do the work at the specified date. They quote a job with a total price and not by the hour. They thought they would only have to stay for about 4 hours but it wound up taking about 7 hours due to the fact that our cast iron sink was extremely difficult to remove. I love the new stainless steel sink. They came with the showerhead assembly and showed us how it would look. It seemed to not fit with the shower compartment we have, so Andy he could tell we were not comfortable with it and told us he would take it back and get another type of showerhead. While he was changing the sinks, after he had turned off the water and then turned it back on, the water flow was low. It turned out that particles of dirt were blocking the faucets. He cleaned them out but told us it was probably coming from our hot water heater which had not been serviced. We agreed to have him service the hot water heater and purchase and install a new shower head the following Monday. They only have a 2 hour window but usually make it close to the start time and they call before they are coming. On Mar 3rd they returned and installed the showerhead and serviced the water heater. Andy looked at the anode rod and I wouldn't want that staying in my heater. Told him to replace it which he did.

Instead of giving me a quote for installation, he tried talking me into another brand of water system that would have cost over double what I already paid. I might be wrong but it just didnt pass the smell test. Needless to say, we didn't hire him.

The water comes out full force, which makes me think that the last plumber I had didn't install my faucet properly. Plus, they even walked out with all the remnants, and I appreciate the extra clean-up service. This is my new plumbing company from now on.
Description of Work: For the third time, my sprayer on my kitchen faucet decided to take over and instead of my faucet delivering water, the sprayer came at me full force and I was drenched, once again. I had it with this cheap faucet, and after drying myself off and cleaning up the kitchen floor, I went to Lowe's and bought a higher quality faucet. + 1 moreI?m writing this so anyone looking for a reputable plumbing company will know to choose Pure Plumbing. My father fractured his hip and I have been his caretaker now for two months while he is recovering. As a gift to me, he knew I wanted a holistic doggie spa in my house, so he purchased a grooming tub and looked through his Angie?s list booklet to find a reputable company to do the plumbing . Since Pure Plumbing offered a free estimate, he told me to give them a call and when they come to my house, he said you decide if you feel they should be hired. If the estimate is reasonable and I felt good about them, tell them they have the job. (My father had used Angie?s list before and was not disappointed.) I told my Dad Tony from Pure Plumbing was a sincere person and that he had the job. Because of the proximity of the tub there was a problem in connecting the drain. Tony found a way to drain the tub in my washer drain. We were fortunate in hiring Pure Plumbing and for Tony to do the work. He did a wonderful job and explained all that he did. Everything was neat and ran perfect. A few days later his boss called me and asked if everything was alright. I thought they were very thorough and couldn?t have asked for a better company. I was also surprised, and delighted, to receive a card from Tony with a gift certificate for Star Bucks ?in appreciation for the work?. Now that?s appreciation! + -1 moreWe thought our toilet was leaking - the rugs around the toilet were all wet on Saturday morning. We had been having problems with the toilet constantly running. We got out the Angie's List book and called a different plumber - however, after a couple of hours when they had not called us back, we called Pure Plumbing, someone answered the phone right away and said they would send out a plumber that afternoon. The guys arrived on time, took a look at the situation and said we needed a new toilet, which would cost $500.00. We agreed to the price and they got to work. Within a couple of hours they had replaced the toilet - cleaned up all the mess, and the toilet has been working great ever since. We would highly recommend Pure Plumbing, the guys were really nice, professional, and courteous - what more could you ask?
