Movers were on-time (actually a bit early which was great), they were extremely efficient, moved the items carefully, and then hauled everything to my house and unloaded into my garage where it's being stored for my grandmother-in-law until July when we'll move it to New Mexico for her. The movers were courteous which was also very important to me. I'd certainly recommend them again.

It was a disaster plain and simple. Thieves, drug use, vandalism.

Had an estimater come out to give us a bid on the job. Showed up on time and said it would take 3 workers at $140/hr 7 hours to complete the move. Everything was paked and ready to go, just needed the big stuff and boxes moved. Job went over by 3 hours on the move due to the fact that the estimater did not mark down a lot of the stuff that we had in the house. We have numerous big pictures that were hanging on the wall, but he marked down that we had zero artwork. Needless to say, they loaded the truck poorly and could not fit some of our belongings on the truck. Even though they brought a 53' van for a 2400 sq ft house move. My wife and I had to make many trips back to the house to retreive the items that were left. I figured that since he came out and took an inventory of what we had it would have gone much smoother. The crew that came to the house were very professional and mostly careful with our items. Few scratches here and there, but some of the areas in the old house were tough to manuver. Probably wouldn't use them again...

They were wonderful. The moving consultant showed up on time and estimated the move very thoroughly. United was about $1000 less that the other estimate I got. I consulted 2 other companies and they never got back with a price. The United consultant provided me with free used boxes and dropped them off the next day. I had addtional questions and she was very accessable and helpful. The packer also showed up on time and packed up the agreed upon items in very orgtanized way. The loaders came the next day and were very helpful. I had a desk that wouldn't fit through the door and they took it apart very carefully to get it out so it could be loaded. All in all I was impressed with their service, professionalism and help and would definitely use them again.

The Las Vegas end of the move went well. Household items were loaded on truck on Feb 24, 2010 without any damage. On the Portland end it was a disaster. Truck showed up on March 3, 2010 and started unloading. We had obtained a parking permit at the truck driver's request from the City of Portland but a traffic enforcement officer gave issued ticket to moving truck because it was blocking a stop sign. The Portland parking permit office and traffic enforcement office apparently do not talk to each other. Mover was given a choice of obtaining a flagman for the intersection or reloading our household goods onto a smaller truck that would fit into the loading bay of condo. Truck driver was angry over parking ticket and left in a huff after unloading a few of our household items. Next day a local crew came with our household items in a smaller truck. Many of our items were damaged. Crew used a small dolly and several of our furniture pieces were dragged on the sidewalk before our eyes and damaged. A new entertainment center was scratched and dented. The Portland crew was sloppy, unprofessional and did not care. We put in a claim of $1822.45 for the damages and received $1572.45 as compensation. We had a $250 deductible on our insurance. Although we were compensated for the damage much of the furniture is unrepairable and irreplaceable.

They did a great job. I liked the way that the ladies came out and did the estimate and then helped me get everything together. They were really helpful in making sure that I had enough boxes and stuff. They were really good and their prices were really reasonable. We will use them again.

We were very pleased. They did everything they said they would do. They didn't charge us anything extra. The company on both ends did a good job. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.
