They did a very nice job, were professional and helpful. All has gone well with their service subsequently.

The installer was Brian. He was here on time, was efficient and completed all of the work needed in one hour. He was thorough and patient for all of the questions I had about my new Protection One Alarm system. There was a $99.00 registration fee and there will be a monthly fee of $44.95. Police and fire department monitoring are included. A DVD and users manual was provided.

Based on my very positive consumer experience, knowing the superior service and products provided by Protection One first hand, I followed Charlene's recommendations by reactivating my monthly service, and purchasing a reasonably priced technology upgrade for my home. I am pleased to recommend Protection One to any concerned homeowner in Las Vegas. When you call them, ask for Charlene Jablonski as your service consultant. Installers arrived on time and were very courteous. Installation was done quickly. Installers were very good about showing us how to use the system. Would definitely use them again.

CHARLENE JABLONSKI---PROTECTION 1---NOTE: CORRECT NAME/ADDRESS 5030 SOUTH DECATUR BLVD. SUITE A LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 89118 COMPLAINT: CHARLENE JABLONSKI obtained information regarding my home without my approval, against my will, without my consent and without my permission. AND...... Charlene Jablonski blatently disregarded my specific instructions under which I allowed her into my home---I repeated my specific instructions to Charlene Jablonski over and over---before and after---she came-in on her own accord with her full-knowledge of all my specific Dos and Don'ts in my home---at present, my home is a VERY limited living space---IN FACT, I SPECIFICALLY TOLD/INSTRUCTED CHARLENE JABLONSKI, VER-BAT: and quot; Don't open my bedroom door or go into my bedroom.and quot; Presently, my entire home is in process of ongoing renovations. Apart from the single entry/exit door leading from my utility room to my garage, the single entry/exit door leading from my bedroom to the hallway is the only interior door installed---and YES---MY HOME-IS PRESENTLY, SAFE AND SECURE! Upon Charlene Jablonski's arrival, I greeted her outside on my front lawn and immediately, I proceeded to explain to her my very specific reasons for doing-so: I'M A LITTLE PEOPLE, TOO AND, classified, pursuant to federal law I have a Full Access Service Dog who, stays in my bedroom, sleeps on my bed, goes out to relieve on the lawn in my back yard---otherwise, at no time is my dog ever-anywhere, unsupervised! Moreover, I told Charlene Jablonski I was well-aware my home is pre-hard wired for a security alarm system---evidently, 1 or more previous owners must've ALSO had one installed. However, I told Charlene Jablonski: I single-handedly personally replaced all the interior/exterior weather stripping on 3 doors, including the single entry/exit door leading out-back; thus, I told Charlene Jablonski: these 3 doors are not hard-wired for security system installation. Being that I told her-so, including everything-else up-front, in advance---Charlene Jablonski had no business need whatsoever in my bedroom! Never-the-less, Charlene Jablonski blatently disregarded my specific instructions, Charlene Jablonski [trespassed] entered into my bedroom unannounced without me---awakened and startled my dog who, perceived Charlene Jablonski as an intruder---[in my opinion, rightfully-so]---my dog started barking at Charlene Jablonski who, was by then---trespassing in the middle of my bedroom---blocking the walkway of our living space. For at least the next hour after Charlene Jablonski trespassed into my bedroom without my consent or permission, awakened my [guard] dog she remained in my home and continued to pitch me an upward of $3,000.00 home security alarm system---upgrade to my cell phone, cameras, sensors, INSTALLERS' FEES, etc.. To me it seemed, when Charlene Jablonski no longer perceived me as a SALE, she suddenly had to go onto yet another appointment---as she was 'already running late.' Charlene Jablonski hollered to me FROM THE STREET as she got into her car, a conflicting message---at that point made absolutely no-sense to me: 'Enjoy the weather' and, and quot;I'll 'have to seek medical attentionand quot; [???] Later that afternoon PM., I got a very disturbing call from a man claiming to be Charlene Jablonski's immediate supervisor [?] that he, on her-behalf of his company [?] had to send Charlene Jablonski to ER for emergency medical treatment for injuries [?] Charlene Jablonski allegedly claimed she sustained at my house! A couple days later, City of Las Vegas Animal Control Board aka. the 'dog pound' came out to my house, cited me $150.00---fortunately, I have proof---my dog does have a current Rabies vaccination---given that my husband and I lost everything we owned----and, OMG I-do mean everything---in a recent moving van explosion! SHAME ON ME FOR sharing THIS TALE OF our personal WOE with the likes of CHARLENE JABLONSKI!!! In order for one and all to fully appreciate the nature of my complaint---as a reminder to one and all--- LV is loaded with scammers....in my opinion ie. Charlene Jablonski---entered my home, promptly proceeded to agressively case my property inside and out---To me, Charlene Jablonski behaved as though she was a real estate lady evaluating my house---the 'fastest-gun-in-the-west 'routine: 'I NEED A SALE WITH COMMISSIONS!' *Being as CHARLENE JABLONSKI left me a business card, here's [what me-thinks?] the correct Name/Address: *Protection One Security Solutions www.Protection1.com CHARLENE JABLONSKI Residential Security Consultant *CORRECT ADDRESS: 5030 South Decatur Blvd. Suite A Las Vegas, Nevada 89118

The only thing I could give them a negative remark on is the salesman said the alarm could be set a certain way and when the tech came out and showed us how to use the system, the salesman was incorrect and it was a real disappointment to us. The tech was great, he spent 4+ hours updating our system and was positive whenever he encountered a problem.

Very responsive on the sales and service experience. I got a next day appointment for the representative to come out and assess what we needed. It was a good experience. The company had a little difficulty adjusting to the fact that we wanted to pay annualy in advance instead of monthly auto-debit, but they made it happen. The tech arrive the next morning on-time, advised us of what he was going to do, and got it done in about two and a half hours including instructing us on how everything worked. Overall a great experience.

We researched alarm companies when we moved into our current house through the BBB. We spoke with ADT but when we decided not to go with them after more research, I did not think they were very cooperative and we spent multiple, long phone calls trying to even cancel. What a hassle! We went with Protection 1 and have been very happy. Whenever we have set off the alarm ourselves accidently, they call very quickly and whenever we have interacted with them, they have been very professional. I would highly recommend this company.

Transferred my service from ADT because I was not very happy. Protection 1 was very professional and avoided the hard sell. They just gave me what I asked for and great service. I also liked the fact that they have a local office here in Vegas.

As long as you don't need them they at OK but if someone breaks in you better hope your neighbors call the police.

We just started using Protection One. They took over our previous system. They worked really well with me to offset the cost of leaving the other place and to get me set up. The company I work for uses them and I researched their fees for a residential alarm.

They can do anything according to your wants. We know several people that use them and we've never had a problem with them. If the alarm goes off they will listen on the speaker to see if someone is in the house and I really like that. They provide an alarm box and if someone breaks in you can hit the silent alarm and the police will come.

The technician showed up on time and had great input as to where things should go and he got busy installing. He didn't take long and explained everything to us very well before he left. Great experience. No complaints.

They seem to do a really good job. There was no charge because it was under warranty. They are local, which is nice. They have really good service technicians. They have one guy that we ask for every time because he is really, really good.

They're just okay. The person that they sent for installation didn't seem to be experienced, so we had few extra holes in our walls after installation, however, the company sent out a repair person for that.

After a hiccup in installation work time, we received excellent service. The tech (Glenn) was outstanding. He was extremely knowledgeable and work very efficiently. He was also very flexible in our requests. I would recommend Glen and request his services the next time we need alarm installation.

I had had good service from them overall. We had some major issues a year ago after a break-in. I had an issue with one individual with them, and so I moved my account to another company. All those issues got dealt with and were all taken care of but only after I had already moved my account; it was already contracted, and so I wasn’t in a position at that time to move it back. Their initial pricing was almost twice as much as the other guys, and then they came down to the same price as the other guys, after they were confronted with the pricing. If I had the opportunity, I would probably go back to them. I would anyways do some more homework on some of the issues that were there and make sure that they’re resolvable in total.

Pricing was better than competitors and in the range we expected. Didn't get a hard sell from the sales rep, was a very relaxed process. Installation was very smooth and quick and took place 1 day after signing the agreement. installers discovered a contact from previous system we didn't know we had and tied it into the new system. Explained in good detail how the system works. As promised, our cat has not tripped the pet-friendly motion detector. Like the fact that they don't charge for false alarms, a feature we have already taken advantage of. downsides: I wish the installers would have given us more choice or at least asked about placement of some of the items. the motion detector and the siren are not in the best places as far as looks are concerned. I realize the motion detector can't be placed just anywhere, but they didn't even ask. as mentioned by another reviewer, it would be great if they carried a mini vaccuum to clean up their drilling dust. To me, these downsides are minor and I would definitely recommend them.

Our agent was very friendly and personable throughout the process. He even came by to make sure everything was going in correctly when the installers came. Now, I realize that he is working on commission but I did feel a bit pressured to put in additional equipment and add more services. I think he just needs to work a bit on how to sell without being too pushy. That said, I did enjoy working with him and he seemed to be a genuinely good person. The installers did both houses in one day and were pretty swell, though one guy (who seemed to be in training or from the corporate office) was a bit too chatty. Nice guys, though. My only problem was that they cleaned up only most of the debris they generated. However, in one house there was a pile of wood bits from the drilling left on the floor and in our rental house I actually saw the installer use his foot to kick the sawdust inside the closet! It was the end of the day, so I didn't want to deal with it. I went back later and cleaned it up. Overall, the only real problem I had with Protection One was the installer not cleaning up everything he left. We haven't had any problems since we had the units installed just a couple of weeks ago. We decided to go with Protection One over other companies because they do not charge for false alarms, which is key when one house is a rental.

They also discounted our monthly monitoring fee for us, which was not expected. They were unable to totally complete the installation initially because they could not find a 'tone' in two locations. We contacted the builder who contacted the company who did the pre-wire for the security system. When the problem was corrected in a couple of days, Protection One returned to complete the installation as agreed.

Casey is a good listener and carefully reviews all of your security needs. The gentlemen who installed the alarm were very polite and efficient. When they could not ensure that it was connected with the main system, they stuck with it until everything was working properly.

They were timely and they gave us good service. When we remodeled our kitchen and some adjustments needed to be made to the system, they were very responsive. We've periodically had the alarm go off-- more accidentally than anything else and we are glad to have the monitoring service that calls to see if police need to be called.

They are alright. They respond well because I have accidentally set off the alarm on different occasions and they were right there to check things. Everything that is supposed to be done is done with them. They are a great company to do business with. I can not remember the price of the installation but I know that it was reasonable.

There was only one problem that we had with them and that was in the beginning as one of the glass breaks kept on going off. They did get someone to come out and repair it in a pretty timely manner. I really like the fact that they actually have people that it goes to before it automatically goes to the police. I also really like that they have a monitor where if you are in trouble and the person in your house has a gun you can sound this one alarm and it will actually send a Swat Team to your house.
