Proficient Patios & Backyard Designs

Description of Work: More was done for the price in terms of labor that we realized until the installation began. The "color" swatch online was different from the actual swatches in the store. I am happy we viewed the ones in the store too as we would have gone with the wrong color. They worked with HOA directly and efficiently. The only problem we had were miscommunications about days work was to be done if we left a message with someone other than our usual contact person.

Description of Work: N/A - I've not had this company do any work for me in the past, however, I may be interested in the future. :) | |PS I only answered the Yes/No questions because the form would not send if those fields were not completed. And the OVERALL field for the same reason, and did not want to grade them anything below without having first hand knowledge of their work!

Description of Work: Had to call a few times to get final quotes & confirmation of agreement for work, but they did a good job very quickly once the work started & very pleased with results

Description of Work: They built a awning and a patio. The awning was done quickly and perfect. The patio was laid but when they were done many of the paver stones were uneven. We complained and after some discussion they sent a different crew and dug up the old one and replaced it. |Fine job the second time.

Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for an estimate on a patio cover and some concrete work around my pool of my newly purchased property about 3 weeks in advance. I made this appointment far in advance because I needed to know there would be NO scheduling issues. The appointment was for noon. At 12:30 I called to see if there an issue getting to my home. I was told that would they didn't have an appointment scheduled for me at all, any day. I told them I had in my had a blue folder with all their store information and a hand written note on it saying that my appointment was confirmed for 12:00 2/17/14. I flew to Las Vegas the morning this appointment was supposed to happen. I don't live in Las Vegas and I made a special trip to Las Vegas for this appointment and two other appointments for estimates for the work to be done. I guess my list of potential contractors just got smaller. Proficient patio just disqualified themselves. I had such high expectations based on their Angie's List reviews.

Description of Work: Proficient Patios did a very fine and professional job on expanding our patio and providing and installing a sculptured patio lattice (Aluma wood type) cover too. Their design consultant Brian came to our home quickly and understood our needs thoroughly and pleasantly and his team of CAD/CAM digital designers quickly designed the plan. They were responsive in adjusting the design and looking at various scenarios and once we settled on the final design they built it perfectly. Their cement workmen did a very good job of forming, pouring and finishing the cement and cleaned up all of the debris completely. They also provided very skilled installers for the cover and we are very pleased with their work and the final product we received. All HOA paperwork, appearance at the approval meeting and handling of City of Henderson approvals were handled with no issues nor any involvement by us. They provided the best price and we would not hesitate to consider them for any exterior work in the future.
