We were so glad we chose Preferred Construction for our kitchen renovation project. They came highly recommended to us by a family member who used them for a bathroom remodel. Mark came over and gave us a very reasonable quote and was clear about when we could expect the different steps were going to get done. The project manager, Adam, was very good at communicating with us and organizing the different teams of craftsmen so that we saw progress every day. We never had to wonder where they were or when they would show up because there was such good communication and follow through. The quality of the workmanship was very good but even when a small mistake was made, they were good about coming back and correcting it. We couldn't be happier with our complete kitchen remodel which they finished in just over 3 weeks and definitely recommend this company for their reasonable price, great communication with us and for the excellent quality and speediness of their work.

First of all, we had a limited budget and Preferred Construction was willing to investigate product options and discounts available to help us meet our financial needs. This was a transition from a Roman tub to an accessible, walk-in shower. Preferred Construction accommodated my schedule so I didn't have to cancel any medical appointments. I'm very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail. The work area was cleaned at the end of each day and at the completion of the project. Having the ability to sit during a shower and the ability to break a fall by using the grab bars makes it much safer for me. I'm very thankful and grateful to Preferred Construction for taking my idea and making it a reality.

On budget, on time, very clean and polite. I canâ t emphasize how smooth this remodel went. Floor to ceiling tiling on all 4 walls, new shower pan and one wall of glass. Love it.

I HIGHLY recommend this company! Every single person I was in contact with, from two of the owners Carlos and Bill, Our lead supervisor Jason, our sales Rep Eden, to the Project Manager Fransisco A. Was incredible! Every question or problem I had, was handled swiftly and professionally. Our project was 6 weeks long and a big job. From demo to finish, the workers were deliberate and had supreme attention to detail. They always cleaned up after themselves and the area they worked in. I look forward to using them again in the future for any and all of our remodeling needs. I am so proud of the beautiful new kitchen and family area that they created! It brings so much more space and life into our house!!!

They treated us as we as if we worked for them. No communication. The job took 4 days longer than contract specified. During demo, they threw away our custom shower head that we told them we wanted to keep and have yet to replace it. Overall poor experience

Work was excellent and the supervisor is excellent. Will definitely use them again.

Very impressed with customer service and the quality of the work.

This town is all about customer service and I can say that their teams performance was above and beyond my expectations. They are clean, honest, and knowledgeable about their profession. I have had so many compliments from friends about my kitchen makeover. Typically I don t post, but I know how difficult it can be to find a company that trustworthy with one of life s biggest investment our home...Worth every cent. Strongly recommended. Hope this helps anyone one looking for quality work.

They communicated with us very well and came back and adjusted a door on the vanity that was not closing right. The were on top everything.

We had the misfortune of trusting Preferred Construction to remodel our 38 sq ft guest bathroom and had an unsatisfactory experience. The remodel was to finish in 1-2 weeks but has taken +50 days and it still is not done or usable. This is due to their poor workmanship, unknowledgeable, inexperienced workers and subpar standards. They tried and send multiple people to fix the many mistakes of their first crew, but something new comes up. For example the first crew installed the marble floors with inconsistent spacing, unevenly leveled as they failed to clean up the debris, old concrete of floors which needed to be redone. They Put in the marble accent walls inside two schluters using a hammer on top of cloth cracking some, also they were not put in sequence requested and needed to be redone. Parts of drywalls removed during demolition were put in crooked, and uneven with remaining walls. The walls texture are inconsistent and do not match existing texture which we are now fixing both ourselves. The bathtub is dinged in different places which happened during the remodel. The black metal shows through the missing enamel and will rust soon which is one of the things they are not taking responsibility for. Our bathroom door had dried concrete from their work stuck to it, which we had to sand, clean and repaint ourselves.The bathroom light fixture was sprayed with wall texture and left to dry making it useless. The marble floors and marble vanity top scratched, which they offered to repair but did not. We had to purchase a new marble vanity top to replace ourselves and a marble buffer machine (we would not purchase otherwise) to buff the floors. The grout work is subpar, grout was applied on top of dirty floors with pieces of cement and dirt stuck inside with inconsistent grouting between marble tiles and some missing grout, which they send someone to fix. The caulking work is a mess in some areas. The bathtub pipes were left dangling unfastened, spigot was left loose because the extending pipe nipple was cut short and not according to instructions of the faucet, it needed to be fixed. The hot and cold water lines in the tub were put in incorrectly and hot water was coming out of the cold, cold water from the hot side, we notified them to fix it. The acrylic tub surround wall was burned during repair to extended the bath spigot pipe nipple and needs to be replaced after they were unable to clean it. Later when they replace that acrylic bath wall, it was put in place cracked. There is no quality control, no attention to details and minimal clean up after themselves. They were never consistent to show up on time or let us know their schedule. We had to stay home all day or reach out to them to know when and if they would show up. Most important of all, every plumbing piping they installed for the bathtub was leaking. I spent my money to buy a endoscope camera that I otherwise did not need, drill a hole in my living room wall to inspect their plumbing work, notice the water leaks from everywhere and notify them. They asked us for an opportunity to fix the leaks on 2 occasions and each time I assumed it was fixed, but it was not and is still leaking today. They have been notified 4 days ago about the latest unfixed leak but have not taken action to send a LICENSED PLUMBER to do the work they previously sent inexperienced handymen to do. We gave them every single item in excellent condition but they were unable to install it correctly to make it functional. We were called picky because we are detail oriented and expected that if we handed over something undamaged, it should be installed and left undamaged. After all this, there has never once been an apology, instead they were rude and felt bothered when I did the quality control they were supposed to do and notified them.

I had the best experience with Preferred Construction. They were on time, efficient and professional. I had them demo part of a counter top, add quartz counter tops, recessed lighting, handles on my cabinets, new sink and faucet. They estimated my Kitchen Reno to be a week and a half. They were able to complete my project within a week. The entire team at Preferred Construction were great. They answered all my questions and concerns quickly and were in constant communication with me about the progress of the Reno. I could not be more happy with the work they performed. Our project manager was there everyday and in constant communication throughout the project. The staff that worked on the house were not only talented but were also always nice and respectful of everyone and everything. They tended to every request both large and small throughout the process and were a joy to work with. While a project of this size will always be an inconvenience, the staff and project manager minimized the aggravation of living in a construction zone for such a lengthy period of time.
