Precision Door technician replaced springs and lubricated at a cost of $422. A few days later the door continued to make the same loud noises when opening and closing. The problem was fixed after I adjusted the opening and closing tension on the door opener. The technician failed to fix the problem and sold me a new set of springs that were not needed. Recommend that you not use this company.
Description of Work: Garage door was making loud noise when opening and closing.

Told them I would not buy their scam!
Description of Work: My garage door came off track, so i searched Angies list and found these guys and called them. They said they could have someone out by 2:00PM and they did. But they tech started saying I needed new springs, new this and new that and the next thing they wanted to charge me over $1000! I told them no, and at the same time my neighbor had come home and saw what was happening. He said this company will try to sell you things you don't need just to rack up the bill when they know you need help!. So I told Precision no thanks and then they wanted to charge me $60 to look at my door and give me an estimate... I told them to leave and no where was there a service or estimate charge mentioned, not on Angies list, not on the phone and not on their website. These guys are scam artists. I called another company and they fixed my door for $80 and its working like a top! Precision Door are scam artists... BEWARE!!!

Very well! I highly recommend Precision Overhead Door of Las Vegas, especially Mr. Will Hall. He called to give a heads-up as to his time of arrival and was on time! There were two trips -- to inspect and make recommendations and measure the door. The second trip was this morning to install the new garage door. Again, he was on time and they did an expert job of installing the door AND cleaned up after themselves as well. They are excellent!

They were absolutely wonderful. The entire experience was flawless. They were punctual and their product was excellent. I would definitely recommend them and use them again although I don't want to buy garage doors again too soon.
Description of Work: We bought new garage doors. It sounds like a lot of money for a service and this wasn't just a service. It was fabricating and replacing 2 garage doors and one of them was a custom size.

It went well, they know what they are doing. I?ve had them out several times in the past. They are already prompt, within 2-4 hours, and do a good job.
Description of Work: The garage door spring broke so they replaced both springs and installed new support ends. They also tuned up the door as well.

They charged about $200 too much,, I looked on Google & also called several other garage door companies. They are known in town according to several companies I talked to ,,to be overpriced I questioned the company & asked for at least $200 back,,,since everything I looked at & talked to was in the $200 to $300 range & I paid $550 for the same service & exact same quality of parts I have yet to hear back from them I would not recommend them to anyone!!!

Adam the tech arrived on time which was very refreshing. He checked out the situation, explained what needed to be done and presented me with a written repair cost. He replaced both springs and adjusted the door. The whole thing took about an hour. Adam was friendly, professional and knew what he was doing. To top it off it was Saturday Christmas Eve! I definetly recommend this company.

From them coming to the house to give me an estimate through the purchase and installation, all went well. I ended up purchasing a door, opener and updating all of the mechanisms. My system was very old and outdated. The technician, Stephen, was pleasant and worked timely in the heat. The new door looks great and works just as well. The new belt drive openers are super quiet.

Called and Stephen was there the same day. He was professional and knew what he was doing. Did all of the work in a timely manner.

My garage door came off the track with a jolt at around 8:30 on a Friday night. When I tried to close it, the door came down about a foot and stopped, at an angle. We were hoping we could find someone to come out at night. Stephen from Precision Garage Door came out and assessed the situation. He explained the problem to me and told me what he would do to fix it. One of the tracks had moved out of position, causing the door to pull at an angle. Stephen fixed the cable, repositioned the track solidly in place and put the garage door back on. Because nothing had to be replaced I was just charged the service fee to have someone come out. My garage door now works better than it has in along time and is quieter too. I was extremely pleased with Stephen and with Precision Garage Door.

My garage door wouldn't open. I was able to speak with the dispatcher right away. They offered a same day appointment but I scheduled it for Saturday after assurances that it wouldn't cost any extra. The technician called me 10 minutes before arriving. Adam T. was friendly, polite & professional. He offered me several options & didn't try to pressure me or sell me things I didn't need. The work was completed in a timely manner & after he explained what was done & advised me of some simple maintenance that I could do. The light in my garage wasn't working & he even fixed that before he left without being asked. I was extremely happy with the service & the technician.

The serviceman did a great job. He knew what was wrong the minute I finished explaining the symptoms of our garage door. He checked the equipment to verify his diagnosis, and proceeded to explain the problem. He had the need replacement sensors with him, and installed them within 20 minutes. He was professional and courteous.
