PACIFIC SHADES SUN CONTROL

I went to the Home Show at Cashman Center, looking for a drop shade for my condo patio. Armed with measurements, photos of my patio, and our HOA architectural rules, I approached the Pacific Shades booth to inquire about their solar patio shades. The owner, Shawn, was reluctant to answer any questions. He didn't even want to give me a ballpark estimate of cost. When I asked about how they cut the screens (by machine or hand), he became enraged and accused me of being a competitor trying to get information undercover! I was shocked by these unfounded accusations. When I protested that I was a potential customer, he practically ordered me out of the booth and implied that I was a liar! I went to a Home Show official, who said Shawn's behavior was bizarre and that he would bring the matter up at a staff meeting. I would never do business with a business owner who is not only rude, but unwilling to entertain questions about his product. Let the buyer beware!
