About us

As with most credit unions, a small group of people pooled their funds to create a source for loans. Those same people volunteered their time to nurture, manage, and direct the affairs of their fledgling cooperative Nellis Federal Credit Union. In 2011, with membership remaining strong and a growing number of Nevadans interested in credit union membership, the credit union board of directors proposed to convert to a State chartered, federally insured credit union. As a federal credit union, membership was restricted in certain areas of Nevada. On October 3, 2011, Nevada Federal Credit Union converted to a state charter and became One Nevada Credit Union. Membership is now open to Clark County, Nellis Air Force Base, Washoe County and Nye County, Nevada.

Description of Work: Joined One Nevada Credit Union in June 2012, using them to refinance my 2 auto loans. My experience was very favorable as they were efficient & professional and accomplished the transactions very quickly. One of my vehicles was involved in a total loss collision in Sept. 2012 and One NV has been very good to work with through the complexities of the situation. The only 2 quibbles I have is they don't get transactions posted in a timely manner sometimes...e.g., a total loss adjustment check from my insurance carrier to One NV was issued on 2/18/13 but has still yet to be posted to my account as of 3/5/13; & secondly, they charge a $5 fee everytime I transfer funds from my savings account to make a loan payment.

I've been using them since 1992 as my primary bank. I have checking and savings there and they don't charge me per month for that. There's no long wait time to get seen when I go there, it's quick and I use their ATMs.
