One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating - Las Vegas

I called these guys to have the charge on my AC checked as I was advised my freon might be low. The customer service team on the phone was pretty marginal. Only one seemed interested in my business. Once the appointment was booked, the tech was professional and courteous. He found nothing wrong and I agreed to pay the $89 service fee in exchange for the readings he took on my AC so that I could keep them for my records. He assured me they would be emailed within 24 hours. It's now been 4 phone calls and multiple complaints, and I still don't have the readings. Every call, it's a new excuse....usually it's because the tech manager is out of the office. These guys were happy to take my money but they refuse to give me what I paid for which was a print copy of the readings on my unit. I would NEVER use them again. If they handle a simple task so poorly, I cannot fathom what would have happened if I had used them for a significant piece of work.

Nothing but problems since I got my new ac less than a month ago. They put the pipes on backward and caused water damage to my garage ceiling, they had to come out twice to fix the thermostat, the AC unit was not level and they didn’t clean up after themselves. The service manager, Chad, wouldn’t return my call. I had to call several times and finally send an email before I heard from him. On one of the revisits, they discovered a cap wasn’t tightened so it was losing refrigerant and they had to refill it. Tonight I’m waiting for them to come back again because the fan is banging on the side of the unit. They say they’ll send someone out but can’t say when it will be and it might not by til the wee hours of the morning. This has been the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Extremely well once the warehouse sent the installment team the new (combined) A/C & Heating furnace equipment. Then Bobbie and Matt performed fantastically with absolutely clear explanations to our questions throughout the installation process. It went GREAT. I contacted One Hour for a service call. They are always there and a real person answers the phone. They listen to the problem and give you a time a service technician will be at the house, Very fast service. They are 24/7 and a great company. They call before the technician arrives. They send a photo who is arriving to do the work. Steve arrived and replaced a part and I had my air conditioning going again in 107degree heat. All the technicians are very professional and knowiedgeable. I have been a client for many years and will continue to be because I can rely on them.

Air conditioner is working! Colby was prompt and professional. He found that the ducts were leaking some dust etc. into the house, and also that I could use a new motor on the larger A/C unit. He quoted a price for these repairs, but did not pressure me to make an immediate decision. Whenever I do get these repairs done, I will definitely call One Hour!

We have had one Hour for over a decade and they are fantastic. They had someone out within a few hours and he went up into my attic to check everything out. Turns out that unit is fine, but due to the extreme heat (140 in the attic!) the technician said that we could be just getting a smell from the ductwork. The service call would’ve been $89 but we have one of their service plans so it was included. They also come out twice a year to check the air conditioning and heating systems, we get discounts and we get preferential scheduling as part of our service plan. Highly recommend this company.

We were selling our Vegas home and during the inspection it was documented that the upstairs AC was not cooling within required parameters. The first guy from One Hour AC that came to inspect it said the Freon level was good. He then went on to sell us a evaporator and duct cleaning that he thought would help. It did nothing... Another AC company later came out and diagnosed that it indeed was just low on Freon.

I just had regular maintenance done. They sent Colby Radel.. What a Doll!! He was very personable and easy to talk to. I will need a new Air Conditioner/ Furnace soon, Hopefully later then sooner 🤞🏻 Colby explained everything in detail and gave me estimates on getting all new, and getting financed, which I can afford rather the whole thing in one shot, Yikes! Installment of an HVAC system in Las Vegas Nevada. It went very well! As is typical in Las Vegas at this time of the year, it was extremely hot on the day of installation. The one hour air conditioning service people did not seem to mind the heat and fid outstanding job. They were professional, courteous, and efficient. They cleaned up after themselves and were careful regarding the COVID-19 pandemic issues. The HVAC system is fantastic and I’m glad I sought a second opinion! If I had to do it all over again, I would hire the same company.

I asked for an estimate to repair my older air conditioner and stated that I could not afford a new system right now, but that I needed to see if I could afford to repair my old air conditioner. Scheduled for 5:15 p.m., after I got off of work. Repairman came early, which was fine because family member home, but I had to race home to make sure he didn't leave before I could get estimate. He took all of 10 minutes to find problem. Repairman said I needed a new $960.00 repair for a control board, but he didn't know if that was what was wrong, motor might not work after that control board replaced, and then I would have to pay additional cost for a new motor and additional labor for that too, which would be addition $371 for start kit and $371 for AC renew? I asked for a price list to review what I would be charged for repairs and parts, but they don't have price list to give to customers, just have their own chart of what things cost that he has on a clipboard. The repairman said, "why throw thousands of dollars into an old system that might only keep working a few more years? It's better to just get a new air conditioner." Very dissatisfied with company not listening to what I asked for: repair my air conditioner if possible. They sent a salesman to try and sell me a new air conditioner instead of telling me the truth that, I needed a new motor. Repairman tried to sell me a new control board that I did not need, so then he could sell me a new motor, which is what was wrong with my air conditioner, which is now fixed, and running, and for less than the initial $960.00 repair quoted. Yes it would be nice to get a whole new air conditioner, but I don't have $7,000.00 to $15,000.00 lying around. I don't even feel your company deserves the $90.00 fee when it took all of ten minutes for your repairman to figure out that my motor was broken. But instead of being honest, your salesman thought how can I get this unsuspecting person to spend $2,000.00 or even better, maybe $10,000.00, if I can convince her to get a new air conditioner or sign her up for loan with our company. I would not recommend this company to anyone. The $90 wasted estimate fee was a lesson to me to always get a second opinion because there are honest people out there and con-artist salesmen.
