Work completed; overcharged; received refund of excess amount after bringing to attention of service manager.

They also installed the equipment. They come twice a year, in the Fall and in the Spring. In the Fall they work on the furnace and in the Spring they work on the air conditioning. We have a service contract and I don't recall what we pay for it. We've been happy with all of our contractors. I think it's four hours if they're not on time we don't pay a dime. One person came to complete the service, It took a half hour for the work to be done.

They're very punctual and they do good work. Even when one of their service visits caused some minor damage to my home, they were great about getting everything taken care of without any hassle to me.

The service man was very professional. The work was done in a timely manner.

They were good. The price was reasonable, I would say. We were able to refer some more of our family to them. They did a really good job. They haven't messed up yet. It was fast service. They were really great, each person they sent out. I was well satisfied.

Their motto, "if we're not on time, you don't pay a dime" doesn't hold true to form because they are always late. They don't show up when they say they will show up. I'm still freezing. It's not good. I have had them out two or three times and they said nothing was wrong with it. It's a damn shame that I'm freezing all of the time in my damn house for $9200. Give me a break. I thought the price was way, way, way too high. I couldn't see spending $700-800 for a temporary fix on the old device, so I was kind of high pressured into getting this new device. I don't really think it's worth too much in my opinion. I'm not satisfied. I don't think for what I paid that the service is up to par. It ought to keep you comfortable, and it isn't. They seemed polite, but I'm not sure that they knew what they were doing.

The One Hour technician said the ignitor was bad and the gas valve was stuck. Wanted to fix both for over $2,000 but couldn't have the ignitor until the next day at the earliest. I questioned the amazing coincidence that the ignitor failed EXACTLY when the gas valve got stuck. He didn't have a good answer and I thought I was getting conned. I asked about a new system and he provided info and a quote, saying he would forward details on the HVAC system. I paid the $90 service fee and the system specs never came. Called Goettl who came right away, replaced the ignitor on the spot, stated firmly the gas valve was NOT stuck, and we had heat immediately. And at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower cost than One Hour quoted.

It was much higher on price on the installation of the furnace, so we did not use them. We used to use them all of the time, but they were always pushing us to purchase a furnace. They were competitive on the price. A few years back they did put in the air return system. I still have to get the filters from them every year.

They show up in our complex an awful lot so people call them back and they have been very good. Their pricing seems fair. They do come in one hour.

I have been using them ever since I bought my home. Their professionalism is very good. The work they do is excellent.

I called at 6:00 pm and the tech was here by 8:30. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem in 2 hours. I was very happy with everthing!

I have used 1 Hour for about 7 years, but have been suspicious of some of the work and recommendations from them. It depends on what Tech comes out, I have had some good ones and then some not so good. Before the Tech came out we developed a clicking in our system. We were told by the Tech that it was our baffle or damper trying to open up and we could live with the noise or get it repaired for $800 plus dollars. They were always trying to get us to clean out our ducts for $350.00. My research showed that it was not necessary and would not benefit us. I found another company through Angie's List , Aire Serve and asked them to come out and re-inspect our system. They gave us a two hour window, and arrived 15 minutes before the scheduled time. The Tech was very good and found the issue with the damper. He gave us a quote to replace the motor for $375.00, but adjusted it so it was not as loud, nor as frequent at no charge and told us how to know when and if it goes out. I just did not have the confidence in One Hour, but now have a company I trust and will continue to use them instead. He also said if we did not suffer from allergies, there was no need to clean out ducts.

Which doing the service check the tech found that my blower motor was failing and that the gas pressure switch was not functioning correctly. He also said that my ducts needed to be cleaned and that I needed to have surge protectors put on both units. All together it would cost about 2 thousand dollars ($800 for blower, $250 for each surge protector, $150 for the gas switch and $770 for the duct cleaning which they had a special on for $300 at the time), then the tech told me I needed to look into replacing both units. I was baffled and highly suspect at all of the work that seems to be needed on a system that wasn't even 10 years old yet and had been taken care of. Got a second opinion which turns out I needed none of those things.

They did the work and it working just fine now. It was expensive. They told me exactly what they were going to do. They did a very good job. It took them a few hours. I'm not happy about how much money I spent. They sent good people here and they knew what they were doing.

Amazingly well. In six hours our central A/C unit, our furnace and thermostat were removed and new units were installed. We hardly heard them. Everything cleaned up when they left.

THEY ARRIVED ON TIME. THE REP TOOK ABOUT A HALF HOUR TO CHECK OUT THE A/C UNIT. THEN HE CAME BACK SAYING THAT MY AIR DUCTS REALLY NEEDED CLEANING BECAUSE THEY WERE VERY DIRTY AND IT WOULD EFFECT THE EFFICIENCY OF MY A/C UNIT. THIS IS THE SECOND REP FROM ONE HOUR AIR TO TELL ME THIS. MY HOME IS ONLY 1100 SQUARE FEET AND I HAVE 8 AIR DUCTS. THEY SAID IT WOULD COST ME $730.00!!! I'M ON A FIXED INCOME AND CAN'T AFFORD THAT. HE CALLED SOMEONE AND CAME BACK AND SAID THEY COULD CLEAN THE DUCTS FOR $300. WHO GIVES A $430 DISCOUNT? UNLESS THEY JACKED UP THE PRICE TO BEGIN WITH. THAT IS REALEY STRANGE. I SIGNED UP THINKING MY DUCTS WERE REALLY DIRTY AND $300 WAS PROBABLY THE GOING RATE. I THEN BECAME VERY LEERY ABOUT THAT $430 "DISCOUNT". I CHECKED ANGIES LIST AND FOUND A BUSINESS CALLED ALL DUCTS CLEANING. I SPOKE TO THE OWNER, BRIAN AND HE QUOTED ME $139 TO CLEAN MY DUCTS. I CANCELLED ONE HOUR AIR AND BRIAN DID AN EXCELLANT JOB AND IT TURNED OUT MY DUCTS WERE HARDLY DIRTY AT ALL. I DO NOT TRUST ONE HOUR AIR AND I WOULD SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DO NOT USE ONE HOUR AIR!!

They gave me a quote of $ 195 for "minor wiring". It's their least expensive service. They diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes. Turns out I needed an additional connection from the heating unit that wasn't required by my old thermostat. I had some other unknown wiring problems which they had to fix to make the thermostat work. there was NO additional cost even thought it took them close to 2 hours of what was originally a 20 minute job. No hint of extra charges or any thing like that. I was completely satisfied with the work and the price. I am going to call them to put int my 2nd thermostat.

There are no dislikes. I called so many people to fix the problem, but no one showed up. When I called One Hour, in less than 15 minutes I had a person near my door. They are great. I would give them a very good recommendation. They told me that the motor is completely dead and they can fix it right away. They had the price list on hand and they gave a senior citizen discount. They also told me that I had to keep an eye on the compressor since it had only 35% usage, but need not replace it right now. I felt that was great because some people would tell you that it needs to be done right now. The guy who came over was so professional. In fact, I called the company back and thanked them a lot.

It went well. The service technician (Jay Schnobell) was awesome. They responded very quickly and immediately resolved the issue.

This company does great work, they service my heat and AC in my mobile home. It is very hard to find someone who services mobile homes. They always come out on time and are very nice and professional.

It started out very well with the AC tech Zach, very professional and thorough in his inspection of my 15 year old AC unit and of the three other AC companies I called that day he was the only tech guy that went in the attic to see if my AC had any other issues. Which it did. Zach explained different options such as just repairing just the unit outside all the way to the purchase of a new system. He even explained the different options I had for financing the new system. Now for the other heroes of the day were the two installation guys Josh and Jordan. To put this in perspective, Josh and Jordan showed up on time and went right to work laying down tarps to protect my carpet and bootees on their shoes and at 1 pm, 109 degrees outside these guys went into the attic WOW. Here's the fun part, my old unit was to big to be removed in one piece so Josh and Jordan disassembled my old unit in the attic, remember it's a 109* outside. When that was done they installed the new unit in the attic and by 9:30 pm these amazing guys were done with the installation and they still took the time to clean up, test the new system completely and show me how to operate the new thermostat. Finally I absolutely have zero complaints about One Hour Air and the professionalism of these three tech guys, excellent example of what customer service should be. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, they couldn't fix it due to age. Aaron C was prompt and professional, he explained our options and was honest. We did not purchase a new unit from One Hour due to cost, but for repair would definitely recommend them.

Terrible! What a rip off. They tried to pressure me into buying a brand new A/C Unit. Tech called me several times after the appointment as well asking if I was ready to purchase a new unit. Very unprofessional. Told me I needed this and that and this and that and basically a new unit was the way to go Since the cost was approximately $6,000-$9,000 I decided to get 2 other opinions. I called 2 other companies who came out and did a service check and both of these companies said everything was working fine! No new unit was needed. I then discovered from these other companies and other people that One Hour works on a commission basis so they try to sell you a new unit. Absolute RIP OFF. Will never call them again.
