The dispatcher responded to my first message, posted via this site, with an email sent, at most, an hour or two later. When I called to schedule an appointment, she managed to find one for us less than a week away. Even when I had to call back to reschedule, she remained pleasant and helpful. On the day of the installation, the only "hiccup" turned out to be the fact that they were scheduled to arrive at 7:00 am and didn't actually get here until about 7:35 or 7:40. (That's the reason for the "B" rating under "Punctuality.") However, I did receive a phone call from their dispatcher just before 7 o'clock alerting me that they were running about 30 minutes behind schedule. When they did arrive, they were knowledgeable and efficient, professional but still personable. They were extremely considerate about making as little mess as possible (which I greatly appreciated!). They configured the installation managing to leave us as much storage room under the sink as possible—something which I had not been able to figure out myself. In the course of our conversation, Anthony also gave me advice about water conditioning/softening units, since we plan to purchase one later this year. We really couldn't be more pleased with their service. We would certainly call them again in the future and will definitely recommend them to others.

** NOT RECOMMENDED! FAULTY WORK FAILED TO RETURN IN FOUR MONTHS OF CALLING ** ** Multiple calls in FOUR MONTHS to return to repair one small new toilet flusher system they installed that hangs leaving the toilet running! ** We have used O'Rourke approximately 3-4 times in the past. Without fail they've always had to return to re-fix something that was not done right to start. On Nov 14, 2013 they installed all new flusher systems in our bathrooms as preventative maintenance. One hangs when flushed and just runs if you don't jiggle it. I called, spoke to the rep and was promised a call back, called again in December and was promised a call back, called again in January and was promised a call back, called in February, said I didn't want to have to do a negative review here, was promised a call back. Four months, complete failure to follow up and finish the work! I even offered to try to do it myself if their plumber would call and walk me through it on the phone. I've been very professional about this, have not fussed and expect the same. It's one thing having to return to touch up work but another thing when they promise over four months to make it right and they don't. Very disappointed in this vendor!

They are very easy to get a hold of and they are very good at getting someone out there quickly to see you. It doesn't take an arm and a leg to get anything done.

I saw O'Rourke Plumbing had a good report on Angie's List and called them, explaining my needs. They offered to come out the same day, but it wasn't convenient for me, so they came the next day at the agreed time...even a few minutes early. Anthony was the name of the serviceman. He was friendly, professional, and helpful. He installed one disposal but it didn't work. I had a problem with mice in the past and thought maybe the electrical switch on the wall nearby might be the culprit, so he checked that to make sure it was okay, which it was. He was very honest about the garbage disposal not working and told me that it happens on occasion. He remained cheerful the entire time, and brought in another unopened box with another garbage disposal. He installed it and cleaned up after himself. I showed him a problem with my water heater and he reassured me it was no threat of any kind. He told me how long a water heater usually lasts and I appreciated that he did not push one on me, though when I asked the price installed, he quoted a price that was about $300 less than a Yes A/C and Plumbing quoted. I was very pleased with O'Rourke's service.

O'Rourke Plumbing Service, Inc. were excellent. They were very professional. They were on time. They did everything thoroughly and to save me as much costs as possible. I had not had any problems whatsoever.

'We needed to have two bathroom sinks replaced. We called for an appointment with Anthony. After playing phone tag for couple of days we touched base with Anthony he gave us a price and we scheduled the appointment. He was on time, professional. The cost ended up being less than quoted becasue it did not take as long as anticipated. This is our second experience with O'Rourke Plumbing and we have been very pleased with the work, professionalism, cost, etc. Anthony is the man - always helpful.

Anthony first checked my irrigation valves, located in two different boxes. He immediately spotted and showed me that the solenoid on top of some of the valves was no longer fully in contact, or wired correctly to the valves. He also showed me the rusted iron pipes, which are most likely responsible for my huge water bill (leaking underground). Anthony took the time to walk the property, front and back, to look at some minor leaks I had found. He suggested i contact a landscaping company, who could probably find a much simpler, much less expensive solution than breaking up the driveway and replacing the five pipes. I asked him if he could recommend a company, which he cheerfully did, and even offered to call the company and explain what he had discovered so they would be one step ahead in fixing the problem. Anthony then repaired my badly-leaking exterior faucet, and repaired the leaking commode in one of my bathrooms. This is the third visit Anthony has made to my home, to repair commodes, dishwasher, showers, and replace the kitchen faucet. His work is immaculate; he handles the heavy, fragile wall-mounted commodes without a problem. His work area is as clean or cleaner when he leaves, than when he arrived. He seems to have every plumbing part known to man, in his company truck. He wastes no time; is always pleasant and professional; and he seems to know how to fix problems within moments of examining the fixtures or leaks. When I told him about water coming out of the overflow device for the dishwasher, he quickly knelt down, looked in the cupboards under the sink, pulled out a black tube, saw that it was clogged, and was out to his truck, back with a replacement, and had it installed all within 10 minutes. Anthony and O'Rourke Plumbing are probably the best professional repair company I've not only used, but have even heard people talk about.

In early March, Anthony (the company's plumbing technician) inspected job to be done and gave an estimate of $385. He said the connections appeared to be in working order and asked why we wanted to replace them. We explained a realtor suggested the replacement as the updated connections would be more appealing to a potential buyer of the house. An appointment was scheduled for Thursday, 14 March at 9:00 A.M. At 8:50 A.M., Sarah (office staff) called and said Anthony would be about 30 minutes late. Anthony arrived a little before 9:30 A.M. and in less than two hours had the new connections installed. He did a good job of cleaning up afterwards. The final bill was exactly the amount of the estimate. O'Rourke Plumbing will be our first choice to do more plumbing work in the months ahead as we proceed with other renovations

I purchased a Pelican Water Filtration System. Pelican provided me a list of service companies in my area (North Las Vegas, NV) who can install the system. One of the companies on the list was O'Rourke Plumbing Service, Inc. I called them for a quote to install my new water filtration system. The woman who answered the phone (I don't remember her name) told me that they charge $105 to provide a quote. I asked her, and quot;You don't provide a free quote?and quot; She said, and quot;No, it is our company policy to charge $105 for quotes, which is equivalent to a service call.and quot; She also stated, and quot;If we are hired to do the job, then the quote fee is deducted from the total bill.and quot; I asked her if I didn't choose to hire them would I lose the $105 quote fee. She replied, and quot;Yes.and quot; I told her that their quote policy is ridiculous and that I wasn't going to pay a company to provide me a quote, especially if I wasn't sure I was going to hire them. I called another company on Pelican's list, who is also highly rated on Angie's List, and asked them if they would provide me a free quote and was told yes. I scheduled an appointment with the other company this morning and received a reasonable and quot;freeand quot; quote. I have hired this company to install my system. I know these are hard economic times and companies need to save/make money, but to charge and quot;potentialand quot; customers a quote fee for a job they may or may not be hired to do is ridiculous! In my opinion, providing quotes is part of the cost of doing business! There is an old saying, and quot;You have to spend a little money to make money!and quot; Companies are able to and quot;write offand quot; their expenses (fuel costs, etc.) on their taxes. To charge potential customers for those costs is unethical in my opinion. O'Rourke Plumbing Service, Inc. may be a highly rated company on Angie's List for the services they have provided to others, but as long as they charge to provide quotes, they will NEVER get my business! I will also be calling Pelican and let them know that this company charges for quotes...maybe they will remove them from their list of potential service providers.

We had sewage coming out from under the toilette and under the house/crawl space directly under bathroom. I have had at least 5 people, plumbers pest control, Maintenance man, ect.. NOBODY would come near the sewage. They practically ran the other way. The other plumbers couldn't find the outtake pipe to clear the clog. So they came up with very expensive ways like removing the toilette or going through the vents on roof to jet the clog out. But Micheal said the out take is right under that sewage, let me get my shovel. What a great attitude!!! He was right!!! The pipe was gaping open with a rootball clogging it up. Then he made me run the water till he found another clog in the main out to the street and fixed that too. This company was great from the start. Staff was great on the phone. Originally they were scheduled to come at 6 and found a way to fit us in 3 hours early. When he showed up he got straight to business, very professional and friendly. I am so happy to have found a great worker. So many people these days find a way out of doing their job, (being lazy) but this man rose to the challenge. I highly recommend this company. I will definitely be hiring him to do the rest of the work after we actually own the house(we are in the process of buying the house we are renting) rest of the work is a $800 job -digging and replacing the pipe with a 2 way clean out (like a T pipe) and running camera through main to the road to look for roots. ( HUGE tree in yard) THANK YOU SO MUCH! no more sewage!!!

I called when I had a leak detection company come by. They couldn't find the outside shut-off valve and wanted to have one placed in the garage going into my drywall. Anthony came out at 7:00 am the next day, found the outside valve and cleared the area around it, replaced the valve and the PVC with upgraded components. Anthony explained to me that he was going to trench to the driveway and attempt to go underneath it. That was successful. He did have to make a small cut in the concrete in order to access the street line, but it was perfect and fixed completely. I would never call anyone else if I have future plumbing problems. This company is so helpful from the initial phone call to the finished product.

The service was fine. It was an emergency as the previous water heater had burst. I'm not sure they got a permit to put the water heater in but I assumed they did and that was included in the price. If they did not get a permit that would be a mark against them. They were fine on the work as well.
