Description of Work: I used Now Electric to fix my light. It was a different type of chandelier that I'd had someone put up and they didn't know what they were doing. He looked at it and said he could fix it but it would take a while, which was fine.

Description of Work: The last electrician we had said that there was something wrong in the wiring in our ceiling so he couldn't fix the smoke detector in our casita. As we are about to now buy our home we decided to call another electrician to finish the job. He came, set up his ladder, checked the device and said it was a defective device. He said to go buy all new batteries, even though we replaced all the batteries a few months ago,and then buy two carbon monoxide monitors for hundreds of dollars, and replace all our working smoke detectors. When we said what could he do, he just said nothing as he didn't carry smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors or batteries even though we told his dispatcher what our problem was. He seemed to be just guessing since he left not one detector has made the slightest sound. We later found out that a local organization in our community will perform this service for twenty dollar donation.

Description of Work: I needed a simple security light exchanged out with a broken one due to neighborhood break ins. I bought a $75, rather expensive, automatic light sensor. Aug 5th the company sent out a young man on the job only two days. He was having difficulties getting the light to go on during the day for testing. That night the light didn't turn on any where in front of the door needing security lights. Called them again and it took until Aug 13. Once again, although the automatic light showed while the worker was here it did not work at night time. This time it took a credit card dispute to get them back here. I told them to turn the light on 24/7. The light was working for one minute when I had to go back inside with my other contractor. I didn't get to see the electrical truck pull away. 15 minutes later when I peeked out the back door the light was permanently off. I wrote a scathing report on their invoice how about their lifetime guarantee meant waiting a lifetime to get service. Been trying to get this security light working from Aug 5 to the 28th. They made three appointments where I waited all day and they never showed up. When I called again each person would blame a different office worker for the snafu. I wouldn't use them again. Possibly they may have read the note in the cab and as a malicious act went back to the house rear and switched the light mechanism off. Won't know till another electrician comes out whether it's in the light itself, or NOW just didn't make the proper connections between the three different technicians, or whether the inside switch position of the light 20 feet in the air was turned to off just to get back at me for my written comments. It happens in Vegas. I still paid $189. for nothing at this point.
