Description of Work: I sent my computer out because the USB ports were not working. I heard little or nothing from the company for several weeks and only received responses after leaving messages. These responses were brief and always referred to reasons to delay the return of the computer. After five weeks I became very concerned and expressed my discontent with the service strongly with the owner. After another delay with the wrong mother board being delivered, I final received my computer back. The computer seems to being running ok. I worked in computer technology for many years as a director of technology for a large school district and never received such indifferent service. While the work appears to have been done and the problem resolved, there are simply too many other companies out there to use this one in the future. I was in the process of filing a complaint with Angie's list when the computer was returned.

 + -1 moreBruce returned my original call within a few hours, came over the same day, and took the computer with him, all of this on a Saturday. Apparently it took a few days to find the problem, not a common one, I guess, (memory was damaged). Once found, it was fixed promptly and the computer was returned promptly. He spent alot of time explaining to me what he had done, and what I needed to do in the future to protect it from infections. He also added Windows 2007 after he returned the computer. I really appreciate the prompt respnse. It is extremely annoying when people that perform services do not call back. Other computer repair companies I called finally called me back after a couple of days - too late!
Description of Work: Found the problem as to why it wouldn't work, fixed it, added some security programs, and added some memory. In the course of the repair, he backed up the data, wiped the hard drive and then put back all the data on the hard drive.

 + -1 moreBruce is extreamly knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He gave me several options to choose from. When he was unable to meet for our original appointment he called to reschedule and came the next day. I will certainly use him in the future.
Description of Work: My computer was running slow and making loud whinning noises. Bruce lubricated the fans which eliminated the noise. He cleaned the hard drive and added 4 sites that I can run twice a month to keep it clean. He also added a Gig on memory at my request.

 + -1 moreMILLER COMPUTER SERVICE DID A FANTASTIC JOB, AT A GOOD PRICE. I KNOW VERY LITTLE ABOUT COMPUTERS, SO IT WOULD BE REALLY EASY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME, AND THEY DIDN'T DO THAT TO ME.
