Estimate -- accurate (competitive with other granite people); timeline given to me was also accurate (when the work will be done) Communication -- prompt (and this is the key to success IMHO); Mike said the work would be done within 3 wks; after one week, I texted him; he replied within the same day; I texted him again after one week; he replied within a few hours, stating the day the work would be done. Crew -- polite and clean Craftsmanship -- Excellent Price -- competitive; note that the work we requested was rather unusual; fabricate several (broken) pieces of granite (which we got from someone) and put them on the outdoor fireplace; we did get a quote from another granite guy (whom we used in the past) for $100 lower, but that guy was terrible with communication and pushed us into considering purchasing a new granite piece, so that i'tll be much easier for him; Mike was different; he executed what we requested and what he said he would do. Overall Impression -- I could not see the seams ("seamless" indeed); my wife pointed out the seams; the biggest factor why I liked Mike so much is as follows: Mike is the boss who had two guys for the job; Mike was out there in the cold (Nov 10), moving and cutting the granite himself along with his workers; that, to me, is what prompted me to write this review about him.

Mike was fantastic. This was for a rental property, so I needed it done quickly so the property could be rented and I really didn't want to spend a lot on the new counters . It is a very large kitchen with an island ( close to 100 sq ft of kitchen counters). I got multiple bids, the next closet was $3600. In addition, he was able to do it very quickly and was willing to work around the flooring guys that were installing new floors in the house. Color was not that important to me, but he had as much selection for the lower price as the other bids for the higher price. Also there was no high pressure sales pitch. Some of the other companies said the price would only be valid if I signed while they were there, and they were trying to upsell even though I made it clear this was a rental and I didn't need anything fancy. Mike was very honest and just the type of man you want to do business with. The job was done when promised, and done very well. If I need any more countertops replaced, I would just call Mike.

I contacted him and he got back to me. He came over and showed me samples and we set an approximate date. I gave him the date that I wanted and he came over and did a very good job. He also had a really fair price. I'd highly recommend him!

I called Mike on Thursday, he came over on Saturday to give me an estimate and show me samples, and his guys were there Monday to do the work. My counter tops are BEAUTIFUL! We are so happy with the job they did! You can barely see where the seam is and all the edges are perfect. Everyone who has come into the house has commented on how good the counter tops look!! I would use him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him. He had a good selection of granite and his price was very reasonable. He was also very honest about what I shouldn't get and what I would be happiest with. He was right!

Mike showed up with his workers and got right to it. They were professional and on task. They removed my old counter tops and the installed the sealed granite ones. My only complaint, and it's probably me NOT reading the fine print, was that I had to pay extra for "demolition". I was a little blindsided but I got what I paid for. They took away all the debris and vacuumed up the construction dust. They even wiped down the counter tops. :-) All in all, a great service at a great price by a great company!

Mike was wonderful!! I can't say enough good about him!!! He responded quickly to my initial purchase, he scheduled a date to come to my home to measure the counter top area and provide samples for me to choose the color granite I wanted. He was back within a week and a half to do the install, which was done without a hitch. The counter tops are beautiful, I couldn't have been happier!

Mike did a great job! Very detail oriented. The installation looks wonderful. I had granite counter tops installed in my kitchen and bathroom. He was on time for the initial appointment, timely response, timely appointment for installation. Everything went perfect! I would definitely recommend him.

Went very well. Very pleased with results. Mike is very professional and will never guess. He will ask questions when in doubt. Used in my own house then is wife sisters house.

Mike and his crew laid down tarps to keep the floor clean ,then began the demo on the old counter tops. They already had the new granite cut to length and began the installation process. It took most of the day to complete the install ,but it all went well. They even supplied and installed the under counter sink. They also installed 6" back splashes on the walls. Completely satisfied with the finished job.

As a past handyman I was so impressed with the job they performed. Mike was a pleasure to work with his advise was invaluable. On a job this involved there was not one problem. In the future I will have Mike and his crew back to do my master bath.

It went better than I could ever dream. All those wonderful reviews on angies list are true. I highly recommend Mike and his team, they worked in heat conditions with tempertures going up to 110 degrees and never complained. They were professional, hard working, did everything they promised, always on time, the quality of the work performed was outstanding, we didn't need to clean up, they did it all. Thank you Mike, we love our new countertops.

He completed the entire job in one day providing a great finished produce.

The glue they put that stuff on, they didn't tell me I couldn't be in the house when they put it in. Because I had a terrible reaction to it and it really affected my throat. It's not completely healed. They were very nonchalant and kept saying "It's not my problem." He gave me no warning whatsoever. The product itself is nice, it's getting there that wasn't a good experience. edit: The sink was low quality and very flimsy. We got a stainless steel sink so it would match my counter tops, but it was very low grade. It caused a leak, which cost me $120 to fix. Also, there were pieces of white specks coming through the granite counter tops. I spent a lot of time trying to even all of this out myself. Maybe it's the way the counter tops were put together. If you put something down on the granite counter top, it turns brown. It doesn't look good. This same situation happened in my bathroom, too.

Mike was highly rated on Angies List so I called for an estimate, he was able to come out the next day gave me a price that I agreed with and said he could do the job within a few days.He had just the granite I was looking for. It is called tan brown. A dark coffee brown with copper flecks and it is beautiful! Mike and his crew arrived promptly the day of the appointment and worked efficiently until the job was done, about 7 or 8 hours. The granite is a dark color with a glass like finish. I had to call Mike back and ask him to buff out the seams a bit more so they were less obvious. He came back and redid it more to my liking which I really appreciated.Overall it was an eccellent job and great ecperience. I highly recommend Mike. I meant to post the review much sooner but was waiting for my backsplash to be redone so I could post pictures. Love the finished look with my new granite countertops. Now I just need some money for new appliances, but that's another story!

We could not have hoped for anything more. We found Mike's prices to be spot on based on other quotes we received. I was only in town for 1 day at the time of the quote and Mike went out of his way to make himself available and came by in the evening before I left town. After we decided to go with Mike he let me know he was a few weeks out for availability but he would get back to me on exact date we could get underway, he got back to me exactly when he said he would but turned out he had an opening earlier than anticipated and we were able to get underway before we moved all our belongings into our new home. He showed up right on time with one other employee each of the two mornings, worked nonstop each day for 8+ hours. He said it would probably take 2 days and he stayed late the 2nd day and got the job done. He was very informative beforehand to let me know what was and was not included in his service. IE he could install the sinks and everything, but he was not a plumber and we would need one to finish hooking up all the new faucets we purchased. However, he made it easy by contacting a plumber he recommended and set everything up for us so it was hassle free for us. Mike was incredible when it comes to accommodating us and our finances. We highly recommend his service to anyone looking at granite work to be done. We can't say enough about how happy we are. Thanks so much Mike for transforming our house.

He did an excellent job, and finished in one day.

The good: Crew of two arrived promptly and began work. Tore out the old laminate counter and installed granite. Obtained a replacement sink at our request. Everything was done thoroughly and very professionally. My neighbors are jealous. Those who have put in granite paid about twice what I did, and there is no difference in quality. The not-so-good: The contractor did not bother to inform us - and we did not find out until the plumber arrived to complete the installation - that we were missing important parts necessary for the installation of the kitchen sink, such as a drain and the sealing gasket. Had the plumber not found suitable parts on his truck, I would have had to leave work to buy plumbing supplies so that the installation could be finished. I called the granite contractor, who said that I would "have to go to Home Depot", after a member of his crew had told my wife (who was at home on the day of the installation) that we already had everything we needed for the sink installation. I have revised my rating slightly downward based upon the newly-discovered information about the plumbing situation. This company does good granite work. You just cannot trust them to make everything available for the final plumbing installation after they finish.

Wonderful! Mike responded to my email and my call quickly (within a few hours) and efficiently ( he was ready to talk about my needs and schedule an appointment ). He was polite and professional. He called before he arrived at my home on time. He gave us great advise about color selection and style. he scheduled the work for 2 days later. It was completed as promised, beautifully!

Mike and his crew were very professional, and were always on time. They cleaned everything as they went along, including the street (swept and washed). I was told that my backsplash could not be saved, but Mike saved it, which I really appreciated. Their job was done to my satisfaction, and I would recommend them.

It went great! It's good to know that there are still companies out there that do a terrific job for a very reasonable price. Mike and his crew were models of efficiency and professionalism. They showed up when they said they would, didn't create any undue disruption in the house and finished when they said they would. They were very careful while they were working and didn't damage anything. A little paint touch-up was all that was required after they were done, but that was only because the new backsplashes in the bathrooms were not quite as tall as the original ones. No big deal. We were thoroughly pleased with the deal Mike gave us and we would not hesitate to recommend Mike's Countertops to anyone. Great job!

I decided to not go with the deal due to the granite samples available that comes with the deal. There are only 3.

home. Mike contacted me the day I made the payment on Angies List and came out the next day to measure and give me a final quote. He is as good as his word in every sense. The countertops were installed within a week and I couldn't be happier with the result. He said he'd start work at 7:30 and he was here promptly at 7:30. He said he would by through by noon and he was on the dot. They fabricated the granite out in the street and the asphalt was literally white with all the dust but when they left, you couldn't see a speck of it. They took great care to cover all of the home furnishings and protect my home. I couldn't be happier. I would use him again in a heart beat. It is truly beautiful and I'm very pleased.

Fast! Job was done in about a week from the time of the first contact. Within a few days of receiving the estimate Mike and his crew did the job in one day. I had a certain type of granite in mind and Mike had a sample of it so there was no problem getting what I wanted. It was called Tan Brown, which is a dark coffee brown with copper flecks, it also has a mirror like finish. It looks very nice with my white cabinets. My kitchen is basically a U shape with a breakfast bar, and because of this and the location of the sink, the granite had a few seams. I understood this, however a couple days after the installation, I called Mike back to ask if the seams could be polished out a bit more to make them less noticeable. Mike returned and did just what I has asked for. I really appreciated that he was willing to come back and correct anything I was not satisfied with. That speaks volumes for Mike and his crew. I believe that is one reason he is top rated. My kitchen is beautiful, I am very happy with the quality of the granite Mike used and the work done was Top Notch!
