Mike came out to my home measured, brought samples and quoted price all in one trip. We called him up a few days later and set up a installation date. Two weeks later Mike and his crew arrived. They removed the old cut the new tops on location and installed all in one day. The plumber he works with came out that evening and installed the 4 sinks. Everything was done in one day.

They arrived before 8.00 a.m., closed off the kitchen from other areas with a plastic curtain, and got started removing the old countertops. They were completely finished, everything clean and neat, before two in the afternoon! They are not licensed to replace the kitchen faucet and garbage disposal, so we had to call a plumber to do that. We were very pleased with the results, and the cost was slightly under $2000.00, as we had the "Angie's List" discount.

It was very good. They did an excellent job. I recommend them highly. The prices were reasonable and fair. He was very conscientious. He did a great job. If we ever had any further problems, we would call him back again.

Cut granite countertop to fit a new sink.

MIKE SELECTED AN EXQUISITE PIECE OF GRANITE FOR MY KITCHEN. HE MADE THE BREAKFAST BAR ABOUT 8" WIDER THAN THE ORIGINAL AND THE BACKSPLASHES A LITTLE TALLER AS WELL. MIKE AND HIS CREW DID A GREAT JOB. THE COUNTERS ARE AN ABSOLUTE WORK OF ART. HE HAD ENOUGH STONE LEFT OVER TO MAKE A NEW TOP FOR MY BUILT-IN DESK. WHAT A GREAT IDEA THAT WAS . IT REALLY TIED THE WHOLE KITCHEN TOGETHER. HE EVEN THREW IN A MATCHING CUTTING BOARD. A GREAT DEAL ALLTHE WAY AROUND - AND AT A GREAT PRICE.

I have been considering this remodel for almost a full year, and had gotten several estimates from various contractors provided on Angie's List. Mike of Mike's Countertops was the most responsive, was able to work with me and my budget, followed through on every detail from start to finish. He was professional, took the time to explain each step of the project, provided all materials, was never late and completed the project in two days, despite a power outage in my neighborhood which resulted in a two-hour delay. Rather than wait for NV Power to restore service, Mike drove home to get a generator so that he could proceed. I wanted to see the actual granite slabs prior to cutting and installation, and Mike provided me with the address of supplier. I did not have to run around the valley, visiting different stone/tile companies, making arrangements on my own. He showed me samples of granite on his original visit to my house and purchased and delivered the granite himself. I was most impressed with the fact that he did not ask for even a partial down payment. It was not until the project was done to my satisfaction that I paid for anything. He used plastic sheeting to protect my family room from all the dust and debris during the demolition of the tile, and after the granite was installed, everything was cleaned up and restored to its original condition. I could not have been happier with the results and found working with Mike and his crew to be a pleasure. If I had known how easy Mike made the project, I would have hired him many months ago. My next project will be the master bath and Mike will be on my "speed dial". I highly recommend Mike's Countertops and encourage anyone looking to remodel or replace their counters to call him. I have no reservation about this, absolutely NONE.

Mike is absolutely incredible; we picked our granite slab and sinks on Monday afternoon and he and his crew were in our home Tuesday morning ready to work. They draped the kitchen and bar area, built a little tented area in front of our garage to do their cutting, and were ready to present their finished work later that afternoon. They leveled our cabinets when they discovered they were slightly uneven. Any imperfections in the granite they corrected. They left the work areas spotless. Our countertops look amazing; it's like we have a new kitchen and bar in a 30 year old house! Mike used a subcontractor for the sink, cooktop, and backsplash work. They did an adequate job, but anything they did that wasn't perfect, Mike corrected. He is a true professional. Mike's prices are so reasonable in these difficult financial times; he was almost $3000 cheaper than any of the big box stores. He performed all the work, added sinks in the kitchen and bar area, and did everything in a timely fashion. I want to redo my bathrooms in the future and will certainly call Mike to do the granite work. I highly recommend him.

One of the best I've ever worked with. Honest, punctual, hard-working. Every element of the job was done to perfection. Mike and his crew were on time each day and left our home clean every day of the job.

We asked Mike for a quote to trim a small portion of granite from an existing granite countertop in order to make room for a new stovetop. The cost was reasonable and we chose him based on the other excellent reviews. He was able to do the work the same day and arrived on time with an assistant. They did excellent work, cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. Mike offered additional services, including applying new grout to the countertop and did so for a very minimal price. We were thrilled with the quality of the work and would recommend Mike's Countertops to anyone.

The fist time I called was late afternoon on a Saturday and left a message, by mid day Monday Mike returned my call and we set up an appointment so he could measure, show samples and give a quote. The price was very reasonable and I told him to go ahead with the job. He had a couple of other jobs to do before he could get to me which was understandable but was able to do it the following week. Mike called 2 days before to confirm the time and day and showed up at the time promised and started right away. He went above and beyond the scope of work with a few little extras like a slight overhang which really finished off the cabinets and made a granite cutting board for us out of the piece he cut out for the sink. He was very professional, and very neat.

WONDERFUL! Workers seemed to be very aware of cleaning up "mess" as installation went on. All were courteous/polite. All work seems to be exemplary!

I called Mike to get an estimate for remodeling my shower in my master bathroom. Mike arrived when he said he would and was very professional. He gave me estimates for remodeling my shower surround with a Silestone product and gave me an estimate to remodel the shower surround and redo my vanity with a quartz product. He was knowledgeable and his estimate price was very reasonable. Due to unexpected financial obligations, I was unable to proceed with the remodel at this time. However, I will not hesitate to contact Mike in the future when I am able to do the remodel. In fact, he will be my first call!!

He arrived on time with a helper early in the morning. Started immediately. Put down plastic on my floors so as not to dirty my carpets. Did all the work outside, so no grinding was done in my home. We are happy with the job he did, makes a world of difference in our kitchen and baths. I just sent him an email today, because I want him to look at a small possible crack to see if it needs to be sealed. I am sure he will respond. Although they did bring a lunch, I made them lunch. They took about 20 minutes to a half hour and went right back to work. I felt both Mike and his helper were very courteous and conscientious. I did use his plumber which came at the end of the day to look at the job and made an appt for the morning. I was told it would be about $150.00. It ended up being $300.00. Don't think I would use the plumber again. Other than that, I am happy with the price and the quality of the work I received and would recommend him to a friend.

Mike and his crew arrived as scheduled in the morning They did a beautiful job and were finished by mid-afternoon. I couldn't be happier with my new kitchen countertops and the new sink that they installed.

Our experience with Mike's Countertops was excellent! He was so professional, punctual and friendly. He came over initially to give us an estimate with granite samples. My husband wasn't home at the time, so he let me keep the samples I was debating over, to show my husband when he got home. He gave such an amazing price quote. It was literally HALF the amount that we were quoted from a major do-it-yourself home improvement store. When we decided to get them done, we had a serious time crunch facing us. We were having a very large bridal shower at our house, and I was hoping they could be done before then. Mike was so helpful and ensured me he would have them done. He and his assistant worked so hard, doing all the cutting and buffing outside in the street. Everything went so smoothly and I actually enjoyed the process because they were both very friendly people. I would absolutely recommend Mike's Countertops if you're considering having granite put in your house!

Mike and his crew removed old style counter tops and replaced with granite. The kitchen is in the shape of a triangle with some squared off ends making for a complicated install. The long end of the triangle that has the sink is wide enough to be considered an island. The fit and finish was excellent. I choose a surface mount sink install rather then a under the counter one. Just our preference. My wife wanted the porcelain sink replaced with Stainless. We also wanted all the faucets changes due to age as well as mineral build ups. We purchased the faucets our-self. Mike removed all the old hardware and had a plumber come in and reinstall. That was a separate cost. He came out and estimated the job on a Sunday. He brought samples with and calculated the job cost estimate on the spot. He gave me a individual installation price as well as a combined cost discount. I asked if he wanted to take his measurements and get back to me later on a price. He said no he prefers to do it on the spot. He showed up on time for the estimate as well as the day set up to complete the job. They cleaned up after them selves. Just note that they use some acetone to clean some of the surfaces so plan on having some doors open to keep the fumes down.

Mike & his crew were EXCELLENT. They arrived right on time both days. They were very careful in trying to keep the 'mess' to a bare minimum. They were VERY professional, the installation was PERFECT, the granite is GORGEOUS and the seams are nearly invisible! He even scheduled a plumber to come and install our sinks IMMEDIATELY after the countertops were installed. They even washed away all the dust in front of our house when they were done. We couldn't be happier. If you are in the market to have granite counters installed....Mike is the one to call!

Mike met me at the house to give me a free estimate. Samples of granite were shown andI picked one sample for the kitchen and a different sample for both bathrooms. I wanted thecountertops done as soon as possible. Mike said he could fit me in the following day. Mike and Mario started the next morning (Friday) and completed the job late the following day. I called Mike Friday morning to change my mind on the kitchen sink (from over the countertoptype to under the countertop type). He did this for me even though he had already sent the other type sink to the job site. The houseI currently live in will soon be in need of granite countertops and Mike will get my business--noother estimates needed!!!

Mike is very professional. The install was quick, clean and hassle free. The granite is beautiful. He's very quick to return phone calls and helpful if you have questions. Highly recommended.
