The diamond in my wedding ring was my mother's and it was in the original setting. I've been wanting to remount the diamond into a new ring setting for a long time and finally scheduled an appointment at Michael E. Minden. I am so glad that I did!! Their staff is incredibly professional and always so kind. They helped me keep the history of the diamond and gold from my old ring to transform it into the brand new wedding ring of my dreams!! I came across a necklace in a store and loved the style, but wanted something more special. I went into Michael E. Minden Diamond Jewelers and met with their amazing designers. They custom designed exactly what I wanted and MORE! They even came up with a brilliant idea to make it interchangeable. Now I can wear it in 6 different ways! Their design was truly ingenious. They are incredible at what they do. I came in 10 days before Valentine’s Day and even though they were extremely busy, they finished my piece just in time. I highly recommend Michael E. In September I left a pair of earrings with them to have one diamond replaced in one earring. When I picked them up he had stretched one of the earrings out, the one he had put the diamond in. It compromised the shape of the earring. I brought them back a week after I picked them up when I couldn't get them to fit properly and noticed they had been stretched out. The manager put them in different envelopes and made a note that the jeweler should only check the one earring and the other one would be a sample. He tried to repair the first earring he put the diamond in and then tried to make the other earring look like the first one. I was there yesterday, I had an appointment with the woman and the jeweler. The jeweler was too busy and couldn't make the prearranged appointment and the woman was authorized to do anything to resolve any issues. They haven't been satisfactory. I asked that the owner of the store call me so we could set up an appointment. The jeweler kept bending the earrings and I decided that was enough of that so I wanted to talk to the owner. I haven't heard anything from them yet. I plan to sue them and call the news channel is they don't resolve this, they destroyed my property.
