A team of 2 arrived. One spoke no English, the other barely communicated in English. They started in the master bedroom/bath, where they closed the doors and I heard nothing for 45 minutes! They dusted and vacuumed the appropriate rooms, and washed down the bathrooms and kitchen floor, but did not clean the kitchen counters. I was not pleased with the result and would never call them again.

I called the company to get an estimate and a gentleman arrived in a day or so. He explained in detail what the job entailed and discussed my needs for cleaning. An appointment was made for the same week. Three gals arrived to clean...I believe one was in training. They did a very good job and I have no complaints about the service. They were finished in about 2 hours and my house felt good. I was grateful to have them.

The first time Merry Maids came to clean my houses it went great as both houses looked fine and seemed to have been thoroughly cleaned. When they came back for a second visit the results were not so good. In one house it looked liked they wiped a rag over a few counters and vacuumed in the middle of the rooms but little else. The house even smelled bad after they left. Merry maids really needs to work on consistency if they want to work on their grade on this site,

Overall, they're fine, and I continue to have them come to the house to clean weekly. Now that they know what's expected of them, it's ok. I had to be very specific about what to clean; for example, I have two shoe racks that sit on the floor - they never moved the racks to vacuum until I asked them to do so. If for example there is one plate in the kitchen sink they won't clean it, instead they'll move it to the side. If they break something they give you the obligatory "I'm sorry" and leave a voucher that you fill in to get reimbursed. They've broken several things. The management is usually pretty responsive. They seem genuinely interested in solving problems, and respond quickly. Must give 24 hour notice prior to cancellation of a visit or else you get charged a fee.

Although the work they did was acceptable, I really was not happy with Merry Maids. They gossiped about me right in my own home, while I was in hearing distance. The two women they sent were loud and intrusive. They acted as if we, the homeowners were not all that important. I do not recommend them.

Merry Maids did quality work on my home. I would have been hard pressed to find a spec of dust anywhere. The only downfall was that, to get a full service cleaning such as Merry Maids, it cost you an arm and a leg. In fairness I would have to say that they do come out and estimate the price for you accordingly, so its not a big surprise in the end. They were very good cleaners in every aspect, just very expensive.

I have been using them for several months now. I seem to be quite pleased with everything. Nothing is ever broken, lost or stolen. I am quite content and feel a lot of trust towards them. I am going to continue using them, as long as I seem to be getting my monies worth.

I've used Merry Maids three times and am pleased with their work. They did a thorough job on the entire house without my asking them to do anything in particular. I trust them in my home, but have stayed here while they did the work.
