+ 0 moreIt took a few days longer than we anticipated, but partly because the floors were uneven, and the tile installers were installing the tile on a diagonal. Once certain tiles were laid, the workers had to wait to walk on the installed tiles before installing more! Workers were careful about existing carpet and walls, and once the job was complete, they washed the new floor and hauled away all their debris!
Description of Work: First, Mr. Lavric met us at various flooring companies, and accompanied us as we surveyed their wares. He was very knowledgeable about the products, offered creative design suggestions, and offered 2 hours of free service from an interior designer, which, in our case, was not needed, at least at the time of this floor renovation. Our floor was difficult, because the original home was built in 1968, but several rooms and portions of rooms had been added on to the original house/floor. His employees did an excellent job of stripping the old flooring down to the base. Then, Mr. Lavric's workers spent extra time and material to level the floors, repair concrete cracks, and, at a cost over his bid, repair the relatively uneven floor for 18" porcelain tile installation. All of the workers, as well as Joe, were punctual, responsible, courteous, and, most important, highly skilled and creative (essential with remodels).
