I am so happy I found Mensch's Window Tinting company on Angie's List for installing security film on my son's first floor condo. Andy and his lovely wife are a fantastic team. I appreciated the communication via Angie's List when setting my appointment, their promptness on the scheduled time, and their professionalism and skill level. I highly recommend.

this is the second time i have used Andy's service and i would use no other for window tinting and their new service of window security films - Andy and Crystal are just great to work with - they do what they say they are going to do at the time they said they would do it and at the price they quoted - they offer a senior discount and their work is without a flaw - i will continue to do business with them and i have no reason to call anyone else.

Contacted the Mensch's because of their "A" rating on Angie's List. An appointment was set up within a few days of first contact. They arrived on time and immediately began work. Andy explained the properties of the security film he was applying. The work was done quickly and expertly. Andy explained the set up time of the product and told me if I had any problems he would be happy to correct them. I'm very satisfied with their work and the product. I would recommend this company.

This company is very efficient and professional and I will be using them again and again.

Andy and his wife crystal are teriffic after we had the downstairs done we liked the work so much and it made a difference in the light coming into the house that we had the upstairs done as well. The Mensches always came on time and the work was done in a professional manner. Some furniture had to be moved all was put back in order and all areas were left clean. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them for other work that needs to be done.

Andy and Crystal provided the best service imaginable! The were not only punctual, they were professional, fast, clean and meticulous about every little detail. Perfectionists to say the least. They were very affordable and I will definitely recommend them to all my friends, and I will be hiring them again as well in the very near future. The best service that I have ever experienced. Andy and Crystal were so professional, i.e., punctual, clean, fast, left no mess, and just did a fantastic job! My wife and I could not be happier. I would highly recommend them to all my friends. Great job guys!!!!

They arrived on time and started to work in a very organized manner. In no time our installation was complete and they left our home the way they found it with absolutely no clean up required on our part. They even washed our windows on the outside after their job was done. We were extremely pleased with every aspect of their work and would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking their services.

Andy and his wife were AWESOME!!!!! Very friendly and accommodating. As my schedule changed so did they. They didn?t try to up-sale me and they were very knowledgeable about their product. I would give them 10 out of 10 stars.

We could not be happier with the services provided by Andy and his wife (who works with him). Even though I had supplied Andy with all the necessary measurements, he offered to come out to our home to check out the installation site in order to avoid any unforeseen problems. He did so, and we scheduled an appointment for him to come back three days later for the actual job. On both occasions, they arrived as scheduled (or texted me if they were running late) and completed the installation in less than an hour. Both Andy and his wife are professional and personable. They were respectful of our home and our belongings, and, after they left, everything was as clean and neat as they had found it. And the total cost was extremely reasonable. We will definitely recommend Mensch's window tinting to our friends. (In fact, we already have!) And we intend to call him again later in the spring in order to have our car windows tinted. One note: Before contacting Andy, I read a review from another Angie's List member who complained that she discovered (after the fact) that security film does not provide the protection for which she had purchased it, giving Andy an undeservedly low grade because of that. I want to be clear that Andy does not misrepresent the product or services he provides. He was very knowledgeable about the film, its installation, and its care & maintenance. For example, he advised me not to go with 7 mm film, saying it was more appropriate for commercial installations, while recommending 4 mm film instead, even though he obviously could have charged me more for the thicker film. And he was very clear that either thickness of film is intended only as a deterrent. It will not stop a burglar from gaining access to your home if he is determined to do so. However, it will make his attempt cumbersome, even possibly dangerous (because the broken glass will not fall away), and, most of all, time-consuming and attention-getting.

On time for the estimate. On time for the install. Reasonable price. Nice folks. Would highly recommend.

It was a mixed experience with highs and lows. I'm an older woman living alone and Andy and his lovely wife helped me in areas not even associated with the service they were hired for. They gave household advice and did lifting, assembling, and picture hanging. One couldn't ask for more in regard to going above and beyond in helpfulness. The downside was the actual application of the film took many cancelled appointments before the final date of application and terse words were said by me to Andy. Andy's expertise and price (from the little I know) was an A. One could not even see the film it was put on so professionally. The more major issue is that my home security, being the priority objective for spending the money, was ill-spent. An intruder could easily kick through the French doors were the film was applied. Or according to the provider of the security door company, security film can be easily cut and then peeled away. Now that's a revelation that was pretty disappointing. I hope the information I provided here does not dampen your spirit to order security film but do your research before your final decision to shell out money. For me, I had to purchase expensive security doors in addition to the film because the film by itself is useless for protection.

I had read that Consumer Reports had recommended adding security film to home windows, so I decided to look for providers on Angie's List and found this Company. Andy and his wife came out to give me an estimate for putting security tint film on the glass area of three doors. The estimate seemed reasonable, and the film was put on the same day. My only regret is not having done it sooner.

Andy and his wife are an amazing team - very professional - great communications - punctual - less costly than any of the other vendors i talked to - they know their business and their work is done on time and done beautifully - i will definitely use them again.

Andy came out on a Sunday to give me an estimate on putting security film on my house windows. He came out the following Saturday with his wife and installed the film. He did a great job and you can tell he is very knowledgeable about windows. Would hire him again.

He only charged $117, but I was so pleased that I just paid him $150 for a job well done.

Andy called within 60 seconds of receiving my email at 6:45 AM. I gave him the measurements and he quoted my window tint job immediately. We scheduled a 11 AM appointment. At 9:20 AM I received a call from another service provider who quoted $360 for the same job Andy was scheduled to do for $210. Not only was Andy extremely prompt in communication but also had an extremely reasonable price for the work. By 1 PM, he was here and gone. I am thrilled with my window privacy while still enjoying my view. Watching him work was like poetry in motion because he is a skilled craftsman. Andy will be back to do future projects for me because he is now my new “go-to” guy for all things handy around the home.
