+ -1 moreJust had our house painted (exterior), as did my neighbor, and at least one other neighbor. So pleased with the outcome! And very reasonable. Call David at 702-510-4262. Pressure washed, fixed missing stucco and cracks. They moved furniture, etc. and then moved it all back. We didn't have to do a thing. Very professional and meticulous workers. We highly recommend these guys!

+ -1 moreIt went awful.... If you're going to be in business, regardless of how busy it is right now (remember 2009?!) at least reach out to those trying to use your ADVERTISED posting and tell us you cannot help us. Unprofessional.
Description of Work: This company was recommended by our local Nextdoor app community. They raved about their work. So.... We contacted them here no less than 10 times. My wife phoned them several times and left messages. So....

+ -1 moreThe only problem I had was they had to remove drywall to move the gas pipe. It would have been nice if they told me they didn't repair the hold in the wall. I repaired it on my own.
Description of Work: Move a gas pipe so a range could be moved closer to the wall. No problems with the work done.

+ -1 moreJohn's guys were very friendly and professional. They spent a lot of time on the prep, covering concrete, patio and even the neighbor's car prior to doing any work. All loose and cracked stucco was repaired and all windows and doors were caulked. The final result was great. The house looks better than ever.

Description of Work: Note that there is another "McMillan" painting company in this area. I used the father-son team as reflected here. |Repainted same brand of paint that had done well on my house for 14 years, but upgraded quality a bit, kept same color scheme. Flat on stucco, semi-gloss on wood. This was confusing part of getting competitive bids, as every contractor has a favorite paint...but David was willing to talk about options, whereas competing bids denounced "others" as being sub-par. |As they were already in the area, David power-washed house the same day I signed agreement. NOTE...be ready with towels to handle water under doors. We also lost some lights as GFI was tripped...and David very kindly helped me run all over the house trying to find the oddly placed outlets to get our lights working again! Also lost path lights as the wiring to timer was jogged loose, I had a landscaper take care of that. Power washing is very powerful. |The painting job took about 8 hours, done several days after washing, spanned over 2 days. Lots of prep, everything protected well. Sealer between window frames and stucco was applied. New seal on sides of garage door. They painted same color as before, but could really see the difference in fresh paint versus my slightly faded version. Very happy. |No deposit required, I paid with check when job cleanup completed, easy to work with this company.

+ -1 moreExcellent response: I called John McMillan in the morning, he came to the house in the afternoon. We did a walk around the house, as he explained how his 4 man Crew team, will prep the house by covering everything, that must not be painted. McMillan said the house will be painted within 2 weeks Experience: I have seen many houses McMillan has painted. He filled out the contract, I signed it. McMillan power washed the house. Punctuality; 10 days later McMillan called, and said his Crew will do the prep work tomorrow. The Crew arrived on schedule and did excellent prep work, very well organized. The next day the Crew arrived again on schedule. Professional; The Crew painted the house as a well organized team. Each man knew exactly what to do. The Crew worked quietly with great detail where needed. When completed painting, the Crew removed all the coverings, and put the coverings and all their equipment in their truck, house painted completed. .

+ 0 morePreparatory work included power washing prior to covering EVERY thing with masking tape, plastic, and paper. This included all plants, windows, sidewalks, and anything else that might have been oversprayed. They even detached 2 trellises (with vines attached) from two court yard walls, leaned them away from the walls, painted, then reattached the them to the walls. Preparatory work also included repairing stucco cracks, and caulking areas such as where the stucco meets the roof overhang
Description of Work: Exterior house paint including, entry doors, popouts, facias, garage door and 3 gates. Also included was an exterior garage with 2 entry doors and a garage door.

+ -1 moreThey were very neat with their work. The owner of the business came over after the job was finished and checked all of the work The employees were very pleasant people and very friendly. We live in a retirement community and the owner of the business got the okay of the retirement community by filling out all of the paperwork needed for the okay of the retirement community. Before he started the work; he explained everything he was going to do. Wrote the details on a contract and explained the details to us. Had examples with him of what the paint color would look like; drove us over to a house that had the same color arrangements.
Description of Work: They painted the exterior of the house; removed the old caulking around the windows and put in new caulking; replaced the trim around the garage door; filled in cracks in the stucco; painted doors; and covered the windows before painting.

+ -1 moreIt could not have gone better. They repaired cracked stucco, recaulked windows and did one of the best and most thorough prep (masking) jobs I've ever seen. Additionally, John suggested a change of color scheme, and even drove me around the neighborhood to show me different colors on houses, as I am a bit limited when it comes to visualizing. Excellent job cleaning up too.

+ -1 moreThey did an excellent job or protecting all of the plants, trees, etc. from the paint, which wasn't easy since I have Star Jasmine running up metal trellis on each side of the entry way to the front door. The workers were very professional and did a great job of cleaning up when the work was done. Before I hired them, I checked with several neighbors who had used their services and gave them high references.

Then they showed up early one morning and spent quite a bit of time prepping the house before starting to paint. Everything went really well, and the finished job looks great. I was surprised they would do 3 colors for that price!

+ -1 moreMcMillan and McMillan Painting Contractors showed up on time, they did the job on time, they were very nice, they didn't miss anything, and they cleaned up. Their price is very reasonable to me comparatively, they did it for the price quoted, and they did it in the time frame that they said that they would do it. I didn't hear a peep from the workmen, they kept on working, and they were accommodating when I needed to take my dog for a walk. They were very professional because they didn't bother me one bit. McMillan and McMillan Painting Contractors came back to check on the work to make sure that I was happy with it, offered to come back to do any work outside for touch ups, and said to call so they could come back to take care of it for me.
Description of Work: I used McMillan & McMillan Painting Contractors for exterior painting, they put some epoxy coat on a flat roof, and they did extra moldings around my garage that were cracking in the seams.

The first time I called the company John Mcmillan answered and he was in Rome so they are great at answering the phone he said he would be back in town next week and he called me right up.
