Could not be happier! Gave all the right answers at the first meeting ... how the trees would be trimmed, the tools they would use, how they would fix the work of the last Service I tried. ( Don't get me started there! ) The explained HOW the trees should be trimmed for our climate and for the time of year ... and they did the work just that way. (Again, the right answers. The trees had gotten too large to continue trimming on my own. This crew treated my trees the way I had.) On the day of the work, they arrived on time (even in the poor weather) with a REAL crew ... not temp workers that were clueless. Things that could be damaged were moved, tarps were put down and the actual tree work looked great! A point I like A LOT was that I was told about services they provide [ Deep Feeding, future trimming schedules ] based on the type of trees I have but they were OFFERED to me, not pushed on me in a hard-sell. VERY Professional! After, the yards were put back the way it had been. I will write it again ... I could not be happier with Mauri Landscape. I WILL be using them again in the Spring!!

They were wonderful and I was very happy with the work.

Mike is awesome! Very knowledgable and professional. I have used Mike for several years. The prices are a bit higher than some however it consistent with a professional and honest tree-man. I don't worry about the work being done properly while i am away at work and i just leave them a check at the house to pick up same day they work is performed.

After a few hiccups, a man came out and we discussed what I wanted done w/regard to replacing my front yard drip system. He said he would have a quote to me almost a week ago. Never heard from him again.

The owner was very attentive and wanted me to be comfortable with the process. The workers came on a regular schedule and did a great job.

First, I must commend them for scheduling an appointment with us. I contacted 7 other Angie's list landscape contractor's and NONE of them could give me a definitive date/time to come out for an estimate/appraisal of the work...EXCEPT Mauri LS. Which I find very hard to understand in these tough times. It was as if everyone else couldn't be bothered or didn't need the work. Shocking! And since I work from home...it wasn't about conflicting schedules...because I'm here all day/every day. In the end, this small courtesy of taking the time to set an appointment was THE deciding factor. I will say that they were not the absolute lowest bid, but I took a chance...being a landscape architect myself...I know that you NEVER take the lowest bid...and of course I was right. Even before they met us they were very highly professional and courteous over the phone. The receptionist Susan was absolutely marvelous and friendly. The owner Chris Mauri, contacted me personally to fine tune my needs and wants after he sent his foreman out to gather site information for the job. The response time/turnaround from scheduling, to walk-thru estimate, to contract proposal, to actual work done was smooth and by the numbers. The crew showed up on time and got right to work. We had overgrown trees, shrubs, crab/bermuda grass, weeds over 5 feet tall, an overgrown and dormant garden, potted plants that were dead/dying, lots of debris/trash and pet droppings. The crew of 3 laborers and a foreman was here for 5 hours and they cleaned, trimmed, weeded out the backyard (30' x 65') plus 20' side yards and a terraced front yard. They removed plants live/dead as well as clearing a (10' x 20') dried up compost area. Their challenge was great too, because our backyard is filled with unfinished projects and several obstacles/machinery/patio equipment to maneuver around. After the trimming/cleaning was completed, they blew out all the debris, and then sprayed a pre-emergent to eradicate the grass. They will have to come back a couple more times with the eradicator, because as anyone knows who has had the misfortune of working with crabgrass/bermuda...it is a beast to kill. But since the company offers monthly and quarterly maintenance packages...we will be able to tamp it down. The only downside to our particular clean-up job was since we had so much plant droppings/trash/grass/weeds, the landscape contractor was forced to rent a large dumpster for haul/disposal a year's worth of undergrowth and neglect. So $250 of the $1,120 was the flat fee for the dumpster. Overall though, we are extremely pleased with their work and professionalism; and we will be using them again in the near future for irrigation and planting as well. I have already recommended this company to a few of my other Landscape Architectural peers for their own personal use.

I did not feel comfortable leaving cash or a check for them. I work and there would be nobody home. I was not going to pay an additional 4% to have a debit card used to pay for the services. This is the first time that I have had a bad experience with a vendor on Angie's list. It is ridiculous for a vendor to not only try to pass off their merchant fees to the customer, but also to make a profit on the fees. I am going to go with another landscaper off of Angie's List.

We found them on Angie’s List; they were highly rated. We were very happy with their services. They showed up on time and they were very fast and efficient. They even cleaned up the pool after they were done; to make sure all the debris was gone. They did a very good job.

I sent an email requesting service. I received a call back the following day and someone was scheduled to arrive to provide an estimate. I received a call before their arrival about 30 minutes prior. The owner called that evening with an estimated cost and time the service could be provided, which was within a few days. The service was completed as promised and very efficiently. I was very happy with the service and would use Mauri Landscapes in the future.

I have used Mauri Landscaping and Mauri Tree Services for several years now. Chris Mauri has always been helpful and gracious in answering my questions and keeping my irrigation system working correctly. Mike Cooper and his staff prune the trees on my property every year and monitor their health, including the deep root fertilization and recommending needed treatment for an insect problem. I love my trees and Mike insures that they are healthy and look great.

I attempted (and failed) to repair a pipe that had sprung a leak (I used a crappy coupler I found out later). Anyway, I called up Mauri's and they sent a couple of guys out between jobs to knock out the repair really fast. Not only did they fix the pipe, they also explained and set our water system for us. They helped me identify all of my zones, operate them manually, showed my my emergency shutoff valve, etc. Really above and beyond in my opinion. I appreciated the time they spent with me, I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

Very good. Prompt. I can’t say one bad thing. A few plants died and he replaced them. Excellent.

After my backyard landscaping had been completed, it took approximately two months before the owner made it by to inspect the work accomplished. Approximately 3 months later, several of the plants had died. We called about a month ago to have the owner come by and take a look to have the plants replaced. As of today, he has not made it by. Very, very slow to respond.

I did the job in several different phases. They were real honest and didn't try to sell me something I didn't want. They were real personable and professional. They were great.

The service was fine. They were very nice and very professional. They did a fantastic job!

It was very affordable, which is why we chose them. They were very good. They came and they did the job and they left. They cleaned up and did a very good job. They were professional. They were very prompt in their appointment. They were very courteous.

Workers arrived on time and started work immediately. Workers worked on different tasks to optimize work. First, trees and hedges were trimmed. Undergrowth was removed along with recently generated debris. Next, the front and back water distribution systems were repaired and new plants were planted. Upon completion myself and the company's owner performed a walk down of the worked. Everything was completed and the front and back yards had been returned to their original beauty.

Do be specific in what you want.

Chris Mauri and his crew are true professionals! They did a superb job, and then a few days afterward called to ask if we are totally satisfied. There were a couple of things that we wanted changed and Chris came out immediately to look and then scheduled his crew for a return trip. This company is one of the most customer-oriented firms I've ever dealt with. We also scheduled Mauri Tree Services to come out and take care of our trees and bushes.

After using 3 different companies to try to fix the leaking problem that kept developing in our sprinkler system on our rental property, we called Mauri Landscaping in to do the job. One of the other companies changed out all the hoses, but the system still leaked. Mauri did the same thing, but there are no further leaks reported and it's been 6 months. I am very happy with the job Mauri did. Good work. In fact, I am calling them back in to change my own lawn to xeriscape.

From start to finish Mauri did and excellent job. The job was completed on time and the finished product was excellent. Would highly recommend this firm.

Great job, helpful advice, assistance with requirements from our HOA, best price of three bidders, fully satisfied with their overall performance.
