Highly recommend Chris Mauri and his team. Chris had a very creative approach toward the design of our backyard which we loved and set him far apart from his competitors. He listened carefully to our objectives and incorporated everything we wanted into his design. He also has extensive knowledge of what does and does not grow in the Las Vegas climate. His team was always on-time, cleaned up every day, and was professional. Chris went out of his way to make sure we were thoroughly pleased with our project, and we are so happy we hired Mauri Landscapes.

Based upon my use of Mauri prior to today's work, I chose to use them again without obtaining competitive bids as is my typical process. Chris, the owner, had provided such excellent service in both cost and quality, I felt it wasn't to have anyone else perform the required service. This is a very busy time for landscaping companies including Mauri. Despite their busy schedule Chris sent one of his irrigation techs the very next day to find and fix my leaking system. The work was completed and the disturbed area returned to its original condition. My trust in Chris and his staff will result in using their services whenever I need landscape assistance.

Mike is very prompt at coming to give an estimate of the cost. As soon as we received Association approval, we scheduled the job. The crew arrived at the appointed time and the supervisor came by to check on the progress, and when the job was done they did a fine job of cleaning up and returning the grounds to a suitable look.

They did a good job. They were subcontractors, I didn’t like that but the work was good. They were good. They do hard work. The pricing is okay but I didn’t compare a lot of places.

This review is long overdue, but two years has given me time to appreciate how well the landscape design has held up. Every day I am delighted with the look of the plantings in my front, back, and side yards. It seems that something new is always in bloom. Chris Mauri took it to heart when I said I wanted some color. What has really blown me away, though, is the lighting design in the front yard. I had no idea it would be so dramatic! I love, love, love it. My house looks like a million bucks and my neighbors stop to tell me so. I found the pricing very reasonable and only wish I had done this sooner. Chris Mauri, his family, and everyone he employs are the nicest people imaginable. They were a joy to work with. I continue to have them do semi-annual maintenance like aeration and fertilization.

Mauri Landscaping is wonderful and I would absolutely recommend their services. My husband and I got married in March and before the wedding we wanted to spruce up and finish the landscaping in our backyard. I requested an estimate and Chris came out the same week to take a look. He had some great ideas and was so easy to work with. He booked the job right away to make sure everything was done before the wedding. The crew was punctual, friendly, and extremely hardworking. They finished on time and the backyard looked amazing. The night following the job was extremely windy and one of the new trees fell over. I called the next morning and they came right over to fix it. The following week Chris came over to review the work. He found a few minor items to fix and the crew came over and took care of everything. Overall the price was good, the work was excellent, and the customer service was awesome. I would definitely use Mauri Landscaping in the future.

I called for an estimate on monthly service and was told they do not provide such a service. Kind of strange since they currently have a coupon offer of one month free with a year contract:/

Best landscaping company around. The professional employees, year long guarantee and cost are the main reasons we went with Mauri. Responsive and punctual with anything that came up before, during and after the job. One small issue was corrected within 2 days of installation. Our backyard was not a large job and they completed it in the quoted time with no issues. They were willing to work with us on a last minute change and even hunted down 4 plants that were hard to find. They installed lighting, drip irrigation and removed gravel to then install another type of gravel rather than just top coat it. They work hard, are respectful and all around professional. When their schedule picks up, their response time is a little longer but I am willing to wait for these professionals and do not want another landscaping company to even come near our property.

I had the ugliest yard in my neighborhood, or pretty close to it. Flat, ugly gray gravel installed by previous owners, a nearly dead tree. The courtyard was stamped concrete, hot and boring. I came to Chris with a bit of an idea of what I wanted, and he ran with that to create a computer plan suitable for getting HOA approval. For every appointment in the process, which included on-site and in his office, Susan would call the day before to remind about the time. She also called if he was running late. I did send some email questions, and found that the reply would be by phone, so that seems to be a preferred way to work with customers. The quote was high and scary for me, considering it was a tiny yard. But after a bad landscaper experience in my backyard, I knew that Chris' commitment to satisfaction would make up for the price. So far, so true! Job was scheduled for February 19th, but early in the week his office called that it would be delayed by a day. So there was advance notice. Day before job started, Chris arrived with supervisor Steve to walk the job with me. Great opportunity to review details since making the plan several weeks earlier, make some plant changes, already writing a change order. This would be the last time I saw Chris until the follow-up, though he was available by phone. First day of job, crew arrived a little after 8am. The entire crew was picking up plants, maybe the only thing that bothered me. Their work day includes, of course, starting and ending at the Mauri office, so travel time is part of what you pay for. Steve introduced me to foreman and then he left for the day, there were 3 other workers. First day, they started cleaning up at 1:30, gone by 1:45. Area was neat for overnight. It didn't seem like much progress was made after day 1, still more rock to remove, no planting started yet, but small cement courtyard was jack-hammered and removed. Second day crew arrived at 7:15am, this time with one additional worker, so now there are 5 including foreman who worked alongside the others. They left about 2:30, but still had to finish chunky rock placement, staking trees, patio paver replacement, check irrigation and set up lights. On both days, the crew was quiet, no music, and very professional. They wear company tees, the foreman had a distinctive hat so he was easy to spot for questions, and spoke English. The contract was priced for 2 days, but Chris does not charge more when they do not finish on time. The trash dumpster was no longer needed, so it was removed before the weekend, and area was clean and neat. Final day was Monday, Steve and 2 crew came to finish up the job. They discovered that wall footings prevented the planting of additional vines, something that previous landscaper did not tell me and charged for putting in plants that did not survive because there was nowhere for roots to grow! So that work not done, and taken off my contract. When job was complete, it looks BEAUTIFUL! Just as I had hoped, an attractive and interesting front area, warm and inviting courtyard. The contract was adjusted a last time to remove plants not planted, skid steer not used. As promised, 3 weeks after job was completed, Chris came out to review how things were looking. At that time he answered all my questions. Gave me the balance of paperwork, including a booklet with information about the new plants. Also provided a suggested watering schedule for the rest of the year. He suggested deep root fertilization service for next fall, gave a quote, and noted their sister tree company would call about that. Chris encouraged me to call with any questions or concerns. If I worried about any trees, can always call to get a visit and a quote. I think that the plant guarantee and level of service is worth every penny that I spent.

Chris came out to our home in Boulder City for a landscape consultation on two separate occasions. We received a fair bid price in a timely manner. He also referred us to his arborist, Mike, to give recommendations for a few stressed trees in our landscape. Both of these gentlemen are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and more important, they took the time to listen to our concerns and ideas. Unfortunately, due to some unforeseen budget issues we were not able proceed with the project. When the time comes, I would definitely consider using Mauri Landscapes to do the work.

They did an excellent job at a fair pri

I used them a couple of different times.They did an absolutely excellent job. Their work is phenomenal. I had an idea of what I wanted to do, and when I talked to the owner, he came out, did an assessment , and he decided to do a patio, and a side walk which comes from the back to the front. My sister then said that we should do another side walk on the other side of the house, and so we did that. We went to the office, and picked up the stuff, he is just a really nice guy. You can't beat the quality of work that they did. I did have a problem with the one of the workers, and every time I went to Chris about it, he handled it well.

Mr. Chris Mauri was very professional when he came out and surveyed the yard, he was very knowledgeable and helpful coming up with initial ideas. Once we made the decision to go with Mauri Landscaping we visited his property and decided on the variety of plants and went over all the details. Chris made suggestions and gave us his professional opinion on how each plant would react in the space provided. While waiting for HOA approval we changed our minds on 3 diffrent occasions and each time Chris was very flexible in changing our existing plans. Chris advised us that some of the changes we wanted to make werent the best decisions due to the climate and how much sun they would/wouldn't receive, even though he could have had the potential to make money he still advised against it. Can't ask for more than that. The crew was on time and extremely professional. They busted there butts to get the job done though not in a hurry they were very thorough and did an amazing job. Upon completion they cleaned up all materials plus went an extra step and cleaned out a few areas that had accumulated some dead leaves. When the project was finished the foreman (Drew) explained the watering cycle for all the new plants and set the sprinkler timer for the appropriate times. The overall experience with this company was 1st rate. They are very competitively priced and the work speaks for itself. We made the decision to contact Mauri Landscaping based on the reviews we read, but we chose them beacuse of the little things, Chris gave us a tour of his property (goats included), introduced us to some of his family, and stopped by to chat while in public. I will gladly recommend Mauri Landscaping to anyone. They will be the 1st call I make if I need anymore work done.

Did an excellent job. They were really great to work with. The were fast. Only took them a day and a half.

We have done extensive home and landscape remodels in Las Vegas and California and have dealt with many professionals in both places. Chris and his whole crew are the most detailed, professional and thorough of anyone we've ever hired. They did everything (and more) than the said they would do and WHEN they said they would do it. I cannot be complimentary enough of the job they all did. When the job was done Chris gave us a folder with pictures, descriptions and care instructions for every plant they installed. It was a great experience working with the whole crew.

Chris Mauri is a pleasure to work with. He is responsive, knowledgable, and thorough. His crew completed the landscaping project today and we're very happy with the results. The lead, Armando, "went the distance" to accommodate us. His team did so much more than expected so the yard would look great. We will definitely use Mauri Landscaping for future projects and highly recommend them.

I do not recall exactly when we called them. I asked for an estimate to trim the front and backyard plants (all desert landscaping) and add a plant in the front. $500 seemed extremely expensive. it took my husband approximately two and a half hours to do what we asked the company to do. Although I am sure they do an excellent job, $500 just seemed very pricey for the amount of work we needed help with.

Met with Chris at our home. He had some unique ideas that were not offered by 3 competitors we had bid on our project. The price wasn't the lowest, but we feel we got the most bang for the buck. We went to Mauri's office complex which showcased many mature plants that do well in this environment. We were able to get a much better idea of how plants would look by seeing them in person rather than seeing pictures. The crew showed up slightly later than anticipated, but had all materials needed for the job. Crew was very professional and considerate. everything was explained every step of the way. The foreman, Steve, did a great job of keeping communications open and was very helpful to a neighbor who had watering problems. Steve even set up some stones for us in our front yard at no charge. Overall we are very pleased with the results. Highly recommended.

A+++, We were very happy with the entire process. Met with Chris, the owner, he was extremely professional. The plans drawn up were better than anticipated, and the end results matched exactly. There is someone in the office to answer the phone so there is never an issue getting a hold of them. The price was a bit more expensive than other estimates we received, but we really got a great value considering the excellent job that was performed. They installed the drip irrigation from scratch as there was nothing present. When one of the tree stakes broke due to extreme winds a few days after they finished the work, they came right back out to re-stake the tree. Walk thru was performed in a timely manner. We will absolutely be using them to do our back yard in the next year.

The entire process was wonderful from start to finish. Chris was booked with appointments so we had to wait a month for our initial appointment. In the meantime we had received other estimates and proposals but had yet to come to any decisions. On our appointment date, Chris listened to our ideas for our yard, gave us some ideas of his own, and took measurements. He left to make a plan and proposal for our yard, which took about a week. Our next appointment took place at the Mauri Landscapes office. This was a lot of fun, actually, because we got to see a lot of Chris's landscaping style. He presented his proposal and the drawing of our yard at this appointment and sent it home with us to think about and make changes to. Chris was never offended if there were things we wanted to change as we went through the process. He was very respectful of our opinions and what we wanted for our yard. The next appointment was at the Mauri Landscapes office again. We made our changes to his design, then walked through the Mauri property to choose our plants and trees. We received the final design with all of the plants and trees labeled. We took a look in our backyard, made a few changes and we were ready to start! After HOA approval, Chris's team started almost immediately. They were always quiet, respectful and kind to us and our kids. The completed yard exceeded our expectations. We are already growing a ton of veggies out back and they are doing well! We did have one tree snap in the wind and they replaced it within 2 days. Chris came out personally to do the walk through two weeks after completion. He noticed some things that needed to be fixed and had them repaired within a week. We will definitely use this company again. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our first meeting with Chris was June 10 and the job was completed by Aug 23.

I called three different landscaping places for estimates on doing cleaning up the yard and replacing my backflow preventer which was leaking a steady amount of water. Mauri set up an appointment for Steve to come out and take a look. It took sometime for that appointment because they were busy but I was not in any rush. If you are in a rush this might be an issue of concern. When Steve came out he did an excellent job of inspecting what I wanted done and talking to me about my needs. He told me that I would get a call the next for a quote on the work requested. I got a call late the next from Mr. Mauri with a quote for just over $400. I that was a slightly better price that another landscaper quoted and they felt more responsive so I asked them to do the work. I was told they would call me next week when they would come by but was told I did not need to be home when they came to do the work. My one complaint happens at this point which is they never called. Instead they showed up Saturday of that week ready to do the work. This turned out to not be a problem but it could have been as there was some confusion with the workers about topping a tree that had grown too tall. That said they did a good job conducting the work and in a efficient manner. The backflow preventer they installed appears to be a quality unit and definitely better than my old one. The bill came in just as estimated. Overall I was very satisfied with my experience and would use them again. One area of caution would be that they appear extremely busy hence the minor troubles I saw.
