The designer I worked with showed me several varieties of plants that they had growing in mature states at their office location. This allowed me to envision the look of the plants in my yard once they were grown. He helped me select plants by educating me on how each one would do in different conditions and placements and how they would fit into an overall theme. It was very helpful to work with someone who clearly loves and knows a lot about plants and has a good eye for design. He didn't try to force any of his views on me but helped me articulate my own vision. The work was scheduled on a Saturday. They showed up right on time and got through most of it within about 5 hours. The designer showed up the day before and marked the spots for each plant and then showed up the morning of the job to give instructions to the workers. There was one point of confusion regarding a missing plant and whether it was supposed to be a tree or a shrub. We couldn't reach the designer to clarify so we made our best guess and the guys went to pick it up. It turns out we got the wrong one, but they replaced it with the right one at no extra charge. There were also a few more plants I wanted to add or replace and they helped me through that very quickly, completing the work within a week of our discussion. The auto-fertilizer which was installed by a previous landscaper has given me nothing but headaches, but Mauri's people put in the extra effort to get it fixed.

Company rep. Michael Cooper is very professional. He took great care to explain what needed to be done, and answer questions. Estimate for job was fair and reasonable. Crew showed-up on time. Trees looked great, crew did a superb job cleaning up. I would recommend this company(I already gave a neighbor a business card).

They were suppose to call me when they got to my rental house and tell me what was going on. They did not call but instead talked to the tenants. They told them that they would take a look at it and fix the problems. The tenants went in the house for about 5 minutes and when they came back out they were gone. It stopped leaking for a little while but started up again shortly. They have never told me what the problem was.

When I first called Chris Mauri told me how they calculated total cost for work performed. He sent Don to investigate the problem and to determine the extent of the required repair. The company was very accommodating in scheduling the work to be done. They called before they were on their way to my house. They showed up on time and performed the repair quickly and very professionally. They removed all debris related to the repair. The cost was exactly as they told me.

I can't say enough positive things about this company, their professionalism, and the quality of the work they do. I had two previous estimates in the fall which were more than Mauri's and didn't provide nearly as much. In this town, landscapers are everywhere, and it's hard to know if you're being taken advantage of or if they really know desert growing conditions and maintenance requirements. This is the company to call - they know what they are doing and have very knowledgeable people to do it. I am redoing the backyard in the fall and will have Mauri's do the work.

They were very professional and have been Johnny on the spot. Their work is beautiful and I can't recommend them enough.

He is a licensed and certified arborist. He personally did the cutting.

He was real jerk and acted like he did not need the work and this was not a small project.

It went very well. They sent out a representative at no charge to review my yard and see what I wanted. He did a drawing of my existing landscaping. When I decided to go with them I went to their office and reviewed the layout they did and got the price. (Their office called the day before to remind me about the appointment and I got directions.) I looked at samples of plants to let them know what I liked and what I didn't. We made an appointment for the following Saturday. They showed up on time, and we walked through what they would do. They finished in the half day that was originally scheduled and everything looked very nice. They will do a follow up check in 2 weeks from the original planting. I was pleased with the workman and the whole process.

Don came out on April 3. On April 4 I had a call from him saying he would get back to me on April 7. When I hadn't heard from him by then, I called him on April 8. Don said he would e-mail an estimate to overhaul the system and make it work. That same day they faxed me.

We had a badly leaning old olive tree. Mike Cooper, their arborist, looked the job over, and gave us two estimates: Drastic pruning, or complete removal of the olive, except for the stump grinding ($180), the estimate was the same for the two alternatives. As the roots were beginning to impinge on the house foundation, we decided to go with complete removal. He did not try to sell us on doing more work than we wanted done. Mike is very knowledgeable. He and his crew did more than was contracted for: Offered to spread the grindings over the area where tree was removed, recommended possible replacement tree, gave us sufficient clean branch chips to cover the front garden, gave me pruning tips, and explained to us what we had to do to improve the fertility of the area. He and his crew thoroughly cleaned up all job debris, even though under time pressure to get to the next job, as he had been delayed by a breakdown.

Chris came to the house a week later with a diagram of the yard as it would look and a specific, detailed estimate and answered all our questions. The next step was to meet with Josh to look at plants. The office grounds have dozens of plants and trees growing there, and Josh took me around so I could see what I wanted in my yard. He was very knowledgeable. The work started a week later with a huge crew that really knew what they were doing. They worked so fast and efficiently! Two weeks after job completion, Josh came back for a follow up. He made sure everything was growing well and that I was satisfied with the work. A very well organized process!

I had somebody from Mauri come out and take a look at the tree in the front yard. My brother, who is in the Midwest, used to work for a tree company, and via pictures and talking with him, I already knew it should be removed. My brother had given me an estimate of what it should cost, and how to talk them down if they were on the high side. After talking with the guy at Mauri, he actually quoted me right at where my brother had estimated, but told me he would save me $75 if he came on a Thursday, when he was already in the area, so I was able to save a little bit, which I appreciated! He also took a look at the trees in the back and agreed to either prune them or remove them, but either way, it would cost the same. I decided to just have them pruned for now. The guy from Mauri was extremely knowledgeable about his work and even recommended a different tree to plant in the front that would be better suited for my front yard.

Mike Cooper came out to look at the tree. Knowing my 1st priority was to save the tree, Mike gave me 3 options. Unfortunately, the angle of the tree made it unsafe that we chose to have the tree removed. Mike fit us in his schedule and within 2 days his crew came out to do the job. Mike's crew is very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Mike has great communication skills and truly takes the customer's wants/needs in mind. He also suggested more appropriate trees for the space we have. I am very happy with this experience.

I've had people like this before and I plan to go somewhere else.

We had some wind problems on the day the patio dried and they coordinated the fix with the sub contractor. We also had a plant die and they came out ahead of when they expected to. They called to tell me that there were no healthy plants to bring out and asked if I was able to wait a couple days while they ensured getting a healthy one. They were fabulous to work with. My neighbor used them, too!

They do a pretty good job overall but it seems as though they could improve on their punctuality. It is pretty hard to get them to come out at their scheduled time. They also send out a supervisor out with the workers before they get started as there is a language barrier. The supervisor tells them what I want done and then leaves. They do work hard when they are here. They charge us $70 an hour and are usually here around 2 hours.

Mauri Landscapes, in my opinion, were very proficient. The landscapers were friendly, and extremely helpful to me and my family. These guys worked very hard on my yard, and I was very satisfied with the result. I would recommend them to everyone.

I am very satisfied with their work and they were very nice people to deal with. I would say that everything has turned out great. The price was even reasonable I thought. I have not had to complain because everything seems to be doing just fine. I would greatly recommend them to anyone.

They are a real down to earth type company and definitely live up to their reputation. I really like the fact that they make sure that their work is done to your satisfaction and they also give a good guarantee on all their work as well as the plants they install. They are just an awesome company!

They did show up on time and it took them about 6 hours to do the job. They did tell us how to take care of it and explained the pros and cons of the artificial grass that they installed. I was very pleased with them. There was 3 people working on the job. They did clean up the area the best that they could. I thought the price was average compared to the other estimates we received.
