It went really well. He was very cost effective, doing both the design and actual work for a very reasonable price. Did front yard, and then backyard as well. Put in a large variety of different plants and trees, providing for an excellent aesthetic experience. He replaced plants that had died without me asking him to do so. Chris Mauri is absolutely amazing! He transformed our yard and provided the best possible customer service. I absolutely recommend his design and landscaping services.

I contacted Mauri's via msg on 6/8/15. They replied quickly and we set up appointment to give me an estimate for 6/22/15. Chris came out and was very nice and knowledgeable and commented on having driven through my neighborhood and looked at other houses. We discussed my vision and his knowledge of what will work and look good. The next day I went to his office and looked over the diagram of what he'd drawn up. I liked it very much. We agreed that we'd go ahead and schedule a install for 8/23/15. (it was pushed back due to the 28th due monsoons delaying other projects) The office was very good in keeping me updated on everything going on. Next step was a full estimate with pricing and paperwork and pick plants, rocks, retaining wall stone. Made final preparations and went on my way and wait for install. The crew showed up just before 7am and got right to work. The project supervisor showed up early and worked on the watering timer because my wife had to leave for work and it was in the garage. She didn't have to miss any work because he was knowledgable of my system and did what he needed to do so she could leave. Install went great, they had to come back a second day to finish up on some things. No big deal. When my wife go home she noticed that the plants were dry and the drip irrigation didn't appear to be working, She watered by hand all the plants and we notified the office something wasn't working. The project manager came over first thing the next morning and did some trouble shooting and found out that one of the wires must have gotten nicked. The following morning a crew came out and found the trouble, fixed it and all is now good. All the bubbles are working and one of the plants we thought wasn't going to make it is doing better and flowering some nice yellow flowers. We are very pleased with the work from start to finish. They are very busy so just be patient it'll be worth the wait. My yard looks 1000% better and some neighbors have come by and said how nice it looks. My follow up with Chris is set for this Friday. Outstanding! Better than we imagined it. Backyard is 14,000+ square feet and looks unbelievable!! Workers were on-time, efficient and always polite. They had to remove 1+1/2 roll-off dumpsters full of original "natural" Vegas rock and cruddy dirt. Things were kept neat and clean and communications constant. Chris and his office staff return calls, leave messages and really cared. HOA signed off and full deposit was returned. We have signed up for their periodic tree care (yes we got over 2 DOZEN trees!) Highly recommend Mauri for landscaping, maintenance, clean-up, and any other services they might offer!

I sent a detailed email and received a prompt, professional response from the office manager, Susan. A visit to our home was scheduled with Chris and John and a few days later my husband visited their nursery (also scheduled by Susan) and selected plants he liked- he said if Chris thought they may not be appropriate he gently made another suggestion. That's the kind of guidance we needed! We gave them a target date for the work completed and they came in on schedule. Their foreman Benito was also a pleasure to deal with and every one of the crew was pleasant and professional. Benito and one of his guys relocated a large empty pot for me to the back yard and gave me a bag of mulch for a future plant. The work was done on Thursday and the next Saturday John came to the house to review the work and answer my questions about the transformer for the lighting - also with Susan's assistance. The night of our party - we received many compliments and I gave their name to 2 people. We are very happy -we highly recommend Mauri Landscaping

We found them through Angie's List. I didn't really get what I needed that time. I think I might call them again to have them come back.

This is the BEST company I've found in the two years that I've lived in Vegas. Chris Mauri is a gentleman, a man of good character and integrity. When you do business with Mauri Landscaping you do business with the owner (Chris) as well has his staff. The business philosophy here is that they do their best ... regardless of who the customer is and how large/small the job is. I appreciate that. They take their time, LISTEN to you and what YOU want (which is hard to find in the Las Vegas landscaping industry) and then work until you're satisfied. They go above and beyond with their customer service. They check in with you to confirm appointments/work schedules ... they check in with you to be sure that their employees where conscientious and courteous while they were at your house ... they call after the work is done to be sure that you're satisfied. If there are any issues, relax, they'll make it right. My husband and I have made the decision to break our $30,000 landscaping project into small pieces so that we can pay cash. Mauri is ok with this. They aren't rushing us. They believe in having relationships with their customers and I know they'll be ready to help with we call. Oh yeah, when you call a real human answers the phone. If you do end up leaving a voice mail (after hours) they call you back, 100% of the time! Mauri Landscaping's entire work force treats customers the way they like to be treated. What a breath of fresh air. Great staff, wonderfully refreshing professionalism and great landscaping design/work ... what else could you possibly ask for!!!! I whole heartedly recommend Mauri Landscaping.

Met both Chris (owner) & Mike (arborist). Both gentlemen were punctual, professional, friendly, informative, have great personalities and very knowledgeable. Work done to the trees was excellent. Crew was friendly, respectful of our property, efficient, skilled. Everyone did a great job and cleaned up very nicely after the work was done. The price for the work was extremely reasonable, in my opinion. We have a quote for additional landscaping, including installing sod, installing plants and vines, irrigation work, installing stone, and a variety of other miscellaneous work to be done. We will definitely have Mauri Landscapes back out in the spring to do the aforementioned work. Would highly recommend this company. Mauri will be our landscapers for as long as we live in the Vegas area. P.S. We called them based upon their rating and recommendations on Angie's List. Prior to Angie's List, we were not at all familiar with this company. We are very, very pleased with Angie's List and with Mauri Landscaping!

The crew were clean and hardworking but lacked overall supervision. What should have taken one day required several because of faulty equipment (compactor and roller for grass). The weather in late Sept was exceedingly hot which took a toll on the crew. The master valve in the front yard was improperly wired resulting in no water getting to the back yard which I caught after 4-5 days and then watering by hand until they could send someone out. I went with Mauri because of their high rating even though their price was $2500 higher. Essentially in hindsight I believe that the other companies' price gave more credit for the owner provided plant material part of the job. I'm not disputing the other ratings for this contractor because I believe they have the capability to perform at a much higher level than I received. Unfortunately for me, I must have caught them on a subpar day.

Mauri Landscapes is great. The owner, Chris, is very friendly and will answer all of your questions. The service I received was great, from start to finish. I got a few estimates from other landscapers, but Mauri Landscapes appeared to be the best, I got a free estimate, including a computer draft of the entire project along with an itemized estimate (which is great, so you can actually see where your money is going). The price was what I considered to be fair for all of the work that was done. A week of so before the landscaping start, I had the tree company come out and remove all the plants, trees and weeds. The next week Chris had his guys come out and demo everything. A couple of days later the concrete guys came out and poured all the concrete. Then within a week the entire project was finished, New concrete poured, new irrigation, new powder coated fence and gates, many new plants and tree's and new sod. There were a couple of minor set backs, a couple of plants were removed, that weren't supposed to have been removed, but a quick call to Chris, and no problem, he apologized and stated he would have new ones installed, at no extra charge. There was also an issue with the concrete, they forgot to pour in one area, again a quick call to Chris and the problem was resolved, the concrete company came out and fixed it the next day. As with any large project, there are bound to be mixups, but the way Chris handled these was great, he is a man of his word. I did not spend much time at my house when the work was being done (I was only there for the first half hour or so most days, due to my job), but everyone that I did see, was kind and professional, and answered all of my questions. All of he subcontractors were very professional. Chris came out about 3 weeks after the completion (would have been sooner, but I could only meet him on Saturday's) and reviewed everything with me. There were a couple of things that needed to be fixed (there was one plant that was too close to a gate door (the plant had been installed before the gate was put up, and Chris pointed out that his guys had put some rocks too close to the base of some trees). Chris stated It would probably be a couple of weeks until his crew could make it out. Chris also gave me a guide for watering everything and also a printout of all the plants and trees that were installed, along with pictures of how the plants will look when matured and a description of all of them. His crew came out a couple of weeks later, as promised and moved the plant, also installed a couple more stepping stones and moved the rocks away from the base of the tree's. Chris had them do this at no additional cost to me. I could go on and on, but when it comes down to it, Mauri Landscapes is the only service I will recommend to my friends and neighbors. By the way one of my neighbors has already used the wrought iron fence contractor, and she loves the work he did. Again, I would just like to thank Mauri Landscapes for a great Job!!! Keep up the good work.

Had different design ideas, Chris was patient and assisted and answered all questions to my understanding. Came out several times to make sure all was appropriate. Took the time to explained to me until I understood the irrigation system, and let me know how to care and what to expect with the trees they planted. The concrete was set up and poured. I had some differing measurements than what had beed discussed once Chris was called it was taken care of. I did have problem with the electrical Co that was to run a line to an outlet in back wall. they came out late, didn't have "proper equipment" even took pictures of pipe that had been placed under concrete, came back two days later and still didn't know what "size" pipe was and did not have "proper supplies". Chris was notified and the next week different guy came out and finished with out any issue. Chris told me from the beginning that they were not the cheapest in the business, but that they stood behind their work ! I have found that to be true ! My Over all score would have been "A" except for the electrician that didn't want to do work, so stalled and made excesses .He made himself, his professing and company look poorly.

Who in their right mind would spend this much to support Mauri Landscapes from going under anyway? This is price gouging at its best......

When we first contacted Chris my Daughter was very impressed that there was always someone to answer the phone. If Chris wasn't available to talk at that moment he always called back in a reasonable amount of time. He came out to see what work needed to be done and then sent an estimate. One reason we went with Chris, was because when we had other companies come out for the estimate they didn't really want to hear our thoughts, they just wanted us to go with their ideas. Chris was extremely professional, honest and courteous. All his workers were also very friendly and professional. We also liked the fact that Chris had us come to his business to pick out the plants we wanted. He is extremely knowledgeable of all plant types and guided us with what plants would grow best in our yard. My Daughter was also concerned about bees and allergies, Chris was very understanding and advised us which plants would work best.

Crew arrived on schedule and ready to work, Chris was actually on hand for some of the work. Weeded front and back, trimmed plants, removed dead leaf build-up from under shrubs, raked and leveled landscape rocks; repaired drip irrigation system. Made the yard look great so we could move out in confidence!

We had noticed damp ground near our back yard irrigation box and had a large water bill so suspected a leak. We called on Monday the 29th and they came out on Tuesday the 30th. The specialist dug up the ground around the box and didn't find a leak but identified that our neighbor was overwatering causing the dampness. He inspected the rest of the system and found a break in a valve that was leaking consistently. He replaced the valve (~$110 in parts) and wrapped all the plumbing and ensured everything was working properly. For all of the work he charged us $200 which I felt was very reasonable. I checked the water meter and it was no longer spinning out of control! Problem solved,

I called Mauri's and explained that I had found them on Angie's List and was calling because I had just returned home from vacation and had found my water disconnected due to a leak in my irrigation system. I was hoping they would be able to come replace the leaky valve within a few days since we are in the hottest time of the year in Las Vegas and my yard needs water to survive. She told me that the first available appointment she has was in three weeks. The woman was very professional and polite, but was very firm in the fact that this was her earliest appointment. I called the next company listed (Jeff's Landscaping), and they sent someone over on the same day. I am glad that Mauri's is so busy and in high demand, but my yard simply would not survive another three weeks without water while I waited for an appointment on their schedule.

Call on May 12 to get estimate for yard work. Chris Mauri came out May 13 and I showed him what I wanted done. I received a written proposal via email on May 23. On May 29, I called and got my questions answered. I signed the proposal and sent it back to Mauri via email. They told me the work would likely be done around 3rd week of June. It was actually done July 8. The five man crew worked from about 8:30am to 5:30pm. They were very professional. I'm quite happy with the results.

The meeting went very well. He is professional, pleasant, experienced and kind. We went over the yards and discussed ideas. he took notes and seemed to understand my ideas (or lack there of.=). We set up an future appointment for looking at plants and to discuss detailed design ideas. I am looking forward to the meeting! =)

I emailed the company asking them for a quote for bi weekly or monthly service. I never heard back from them. No phone call or email

I contacted this company to perform a major clean up of our yard after not having professional service for over two years. We had not had this service done simply because we were so unhappy with the quality of service from other companies. I found this company through reviews on Angie's List and contacted them. They have an actual tree service division with a certified arborist in addition to their separate yard maintenance service. The tree service company just completed their service today and we couldn't be more happy with the results. They were professional, polite explained in detail everything they were going to so and why, and cleaned up everything when they were done. They showed up on time, were respectful of the property, and were extremely knowledgable. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone, and I will have them back for regular maintenance.

They were real good. They trimmed the big giant pine tree and the little trees and also did a bunch of work around the yard. But this particular tree looked great after they were done. The work was great.

We weren't able to pay as much as it was. We weren't aware that it was going to be that expensive. They did the job anyway and let me go on a payment plan for about a month and a half to pay them back. I liked everything about them. They were great.
