Mauri Landscapes was incredibly easy to work with. During the initial consultation they really listened to my ideas, but improved them. I was very impressed by their professionalism and their willingness to work with us despite our tight budget. While we had hoped to spend about $5000 and do pavers and more plants, we ended up having to cut our budget. Mauri never gave us a hard time about it and were very understanding. They really worked with us to find the best solutions to keep the cost down. We finalized the plans on a Saturday, they poured the patio the following Monday and were finished everything by Tuesday. Everyone who came out was professional and very nice. They even walked us through how to add irrigation lines so we could add more plants on our own in the future. Our backyard looks fantastic and we're incredibly pleased. I highly recommend them to everyone and would definitely hire them again in the future.

Everything was fabulous. They did some minor lawn and irrigation repair work. They trimmed some bushes and trees. I would say that in the highest respect, they did a fabulous job. I thought the price was fair though I did not get another price.

They did a good job and they were very professional. They were responsive. We have a lot of trees. The quality of their work was very good. I would use them again without a doubt.

Both projects we completed on time, within budget, and I am thrilled with the results. They will be returning to estimate work on my back yard.

I like that he was an arborist, not just a guy with a chain saw. He was very knowledgeable about different types of trees. He knew the answers to any of the questions that I had. I would use them again in the future.

Set up appointment for estimate, gave me estimate and scheduled the work. Lower price than 2 other bids.

Mauri started work on a Wednesday morning @ 7:30 and finished that Friday @ 3:00 pm. Patio cover was installed a week or so later on Saturday morning. It was phenomenal how fast and perfect the job went. It was as if I stepped into somebody's else's yard. No trash, no complaints, no blaring music or horsing around. My property was left clean and no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. Inspection was scheduled 2 weeks later, went over watering, answered a couple of questions, notation made on 1 plant and was given personal booklet with sub sign-offs and plant information. All details Mauri explained during consultation were completed.

They have a one year guarantee on the plants. They were there when they said they would be. They were very good to work with. I had no problems.

I found the company though the angie's list. I read they got most positive reports, so give it a try. Jennifer answered the phone very friendly and I made a appiontment with Don on Monday around 11-11:30am. Don called on Monday morning said he's behind the schedule, will make it on noon. I said I won't be home at that time. He said he be there anyway and will call me when is done. When I came back he left me a message on the phone, but I called him back anyway to get more detail and made an appintment with workers on Firday afternon. The 2 workers were working under hotttest time of the day about an hour. They did what I wanted to be finish. I gave them ice water. They also set the time for the watering (I don't know how to use it).

Despite my having missed much of the work (due to a doctor's appointment) Mauri's crew did an awesome job! The front yard looks great and everyone of the crew was a professional. Best of all, 3 weeks after the job was completed, Mauri called me to tell me they wanted to stop by to follow up on the work and inspect the landscaped area. It's good to know they really care about their work. That's a bonus!

They are honest, friendly and they always show up on time. They are very efficient and work hard. I tell them what I want done and they always do exactly what I want.

Michael came out on a Saturday morning and gave me a very fair estimate and made an appointment for june 9. I was gone when they arrived but they did a great job trimming the tree and left no sign that they had been there except a manicured tree.

The men that were sent out to complete the job, were concientious, knew what needed to be done and did it without any delay. They asked questions and listened to the answers, were knowledgeable and respectful. When the job was complete, I called the office to give them payment via credit card and the lady answering the phone went out of her way to be cordial and told me that she would bill me instead, if that was alright. It was nice as well as unusual to have a company make a customer feel like they are trusted.

I scheduled them to come and do landscape maintenance on my back yard for 8/2/09. I was the last appointment for the day and cancelled other appointments to stay home for them. They never showed and never called. And no one bothered to tell me when I scheduled that they might not make it because I was the last appointment. I rescheduled for the following Tuesday morning. They showed up but didn't bring any lawn maintenance equipment and were going to leave without taking care of the grass. When I asked about it, they had to go back to the company and get lawn maintenance equipment. This is at $75/hr. When I got the bill for $335 I called to ask about the time they spent on the road going to and from to get a lawnmower and they took A WHOLE $15 off the bill! (Where WILL I spend it all???) I read the other reviews and hired them based on those, but my experience was not good.

Mauri landscape was great from the time I called to the time they finished the job! When Chris Mauri came out to look at my land he listened to all my concerns and answered all my questions. When the crew came to begin the job they were all extremly professional and worked the whole time! They were efficiant and precise! Everything turned out perfect and I am very pleased with the job! If I had more land to landscape I would for sure call Mauri's Landscape!

I guess it is my fault because I should have been more clear on when to come out, but I did not think I would of been woken up at 5:30/6:00 am by someone banging up against the house. When you get off at 3:00 am, it's not much fun to be woken up. The leaky pipes (solenoid's) are still there and I have to call them back out or find another company that can send someone who speaks fluent English and can understand it too.

All appointments were keep and everyone arrived on time for all aspects of the job from measurement, design completion, selection of plants and materials and supervision. Chris always wanted us to be happy with the job and how his crews were completing the project. Every member of his company was friendly and went out of their way to make you feel like a member of the family.

It went great. They came on time, performed the work exactly as requested, were very polite, and --what is most unusual -- did not require any money upfront. At the end of the job, Chriss asked me if everything was to my liking, I said "yes," he presented me with the bill and left, I sent him him his check the next day. I overpaid by mistake; he sent me a check for the overpayment without my even knowing that I had overpaid. How is that for honesty? A rare item today.

Our overall experience was great, they arrived on time, and cleaned up during and after the job was done. They explained everything to us, and gave us an estimate that was not too expensive. We had three different estimates, their price was in the middle of the others, it was everything we asked for, they didn't add their own touches. They really listened to us.

Excellent. Arrived on time, professional and courteous. Mike, certified arborist, on site and did majority of pruning himself. All debris and cuttings removed from yard. More than satisfied with job done.

I recently purchased a home with a landscape that had been neglected for around a year or more. I needed a professional to clean up one overgrown Palm and advise on another Palm that I suspected was dying or dead. I found the Mauri Tree Company on Angie's List and was put in touch with Mike Cooper, a certified arborist. I spoke with him late one afternoon, the next day he visited the property and provided a written estimate. When I called to approve the estimate, he provided details about the work that needed to be done and was able to schedule the work the next day. On the day work was to be done, he was there bright and early, already working while I was getting ready for work. Fifteen minutes later, as I was leaving for work, he and Oscar quickly had the tree mostly trimmed and the dead shrubs removed. He took the time to explain what they were doing and why. He advised not to replant a Queen Palm that it is poorly suited to our climate. As a first-time homeowner and landscaping novice, I really appreciated this level of detail. When I saw the finished work, I was stunned by how great the tree looked. They also did a great job on the removal of 2 shrubs and a tree. It looked like the plants had never even been there. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience. Throughout, Mike was professional, helpful and friendly. I can't recommend his work and expertise highly enough!

I called the company because they were listed on Angie's List. I also had seen them on their TV ad a couple of years back, and they appeared to be a family company. I called and Chris came out and measured and spoke to me. He then left, and they called for an appointment so I could go in and see what they had decided would be good in my yard. They set up every appointment and were right on time. The actual job took three full days, and I'm extremely happy with the yard.

It went well, I especially liked that I was able to see many specimens at the office. When I was not sure of the color of rock I wanted, Chris and Jennifer just said I could go the source. After the decisions were made, the rest went quickly. The men really worked hard especially when the truck delivering the rock broke, dumping the load on my lawn, driveway, my neighbors lawn and their driveway. There was some damage to the fence and their lawn but thankfully no one was injured. The sound of 40 tons of rock dumping/falling on the sidewalk etc was very loud. This meant that the guys had to empty the rest of the load that had not fallen out, They also had to move lots of rock at least 4 times more than they might have if the accident had not happened. They were very quick, did not grumble and mostly finished within 6 hours of the accident. This delayed the finishing by only one day. I was really impressed with all the extra work that was completed. Once we started the planting, I decided to add two lattice and vines that was not part of the original design. The foremen completed the paperwork and then finished the job. After 2 weeks they returned to check on the new plants and reset the sprinkler clock.

We contacted Mauri after seeing the rave reviews on Angie's List. I first contacted the main number and the person handling the calls was professional and displayed excellent customer service. Mike Cooper, the arborist, is the ultimate professional and really knows his trees! He returned calls and provided an estimate promptly and is really friendly and likable. He scheduled the service at a convenient time for us. Mike was not pushy at all, made suggestions and let us make the decision. Mike took care of the tree removal himself and his two workers took care of the other trees at his direction and provided complete clean-up after. We have had other companies who have come in and worked hard, but the workers really didn't know what they were doing and just hacked everything back. The difference is obvious between that and having it done by someone who knows trees. We also plan to have Mauri Landscaping take care of our other yard work. We would definitely use this company again!

I had contacted Mauri earlier about just redoing the irrigation system, and was not happy with the length of time they took to get back to me with a price. When we decided to redo the entire front yard, I wanted to give them another chance due to their professionalism and despite the earlier lukewarm experience. I'm very happy I did. They performed a beautiful job for the price quoted, and in the amount of time estimated. They spent a lot of time with us mapping out the landscaping, determining the best plants for the space, and even provided a plant list and care description upon job completion. Their follow up has been amazing. This is a wonderful company I would recommend to anyone, and it was, much to my delighted surprise, simply a pleasure doing business with them, from start to finish.
