They completed the work in just one day. Followed up a week later with a back yard review, instruction on the drip system, and overview of plant care. Received an instruction guide on each plant with pictures on how they bloom. The price they quoted was the price I paid. No hidden fees or additions.

On site inspection first. Written estimate with pictures of what would be done. At the business, was shown living examples of what all plants would look like. Crew showed up on time ready to go with everything they needed. Worked straight thru for over 6 hours in 100+ degree temps. Clean-up was complete. Looked like a picture from a magazine. My property looks great. THIS WAS THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT.

Called on Thursday to get estimate. Mike came on Friday to provide estimate and explain what needed to be done to trim the mesquite. I decided to go ahead and have them do the work and asked when it could be done. Mike said he and his co-worker could be here Monday between 7:00 - 7:30. They were on time on Monday and quickly completed the work. The mesquite looks great. The cost was as provided in the estimate. I would use Mauri Tree Company again.

After I accepted Mauri's estimate, the work was scheduled for the morning of July 12th. Mike and his crew arrived before 7:30am and performed all three tasks to my complete satisfaction. They thoroughly cleaned the areas and the price was certainly reasonable.

After accepting the estimate from Mauri's Tree service, we set an appointment to have the work done. They arrived on time and completed all the work specified in a very professional and friendly manner. We are very pleased with the results and will continue to use their services in the future.

Chris, the owner, contacted me almost immediately and came out personally, the day he scheduled and his office staff was in constant contact with me for appointments and reminders ahead of time. He did everything we asked of his service and was prompt, extremely friendly and courteous. It was done on the day scheduled.

I had a quote within a day of calling for a price. Their price was very competitive with other quotes obtained. After my later call to confirm the job they were able to set a date within 3 days. They called the day before to confirm an early AM start time. Arriving on time they removed a 45-50 foot tree that was too close to our house for comfort and were finished by noon. They protected our pool equipment and nearby plants from damage, and covered the near end of our pool as requested. After grinding the stump to below ground grade they removed all of the tree limbs and base and totally cleaned up the mess from the job. When they left one could not tell they had even been there or that a tree had been in that location. They did a excellent job quickly, professionally, and at a reasonable price exactly as quoted. I will use them in the future to trim other trees on our property as needed. I recommend them completely.

I think the company is just starting up. I can't say the service was bad but there were some communication issues. It sounded like they did not have it together yet. The price was what I was quoted. I can not complain about the work.

I live in Los Angeles and am buying a property in Las Vegas. I called Mauri and explained that I would be in Las Vegas 1 (one) day only and needed to schedule an estimate appointment for Friday, June 18th, because we had to leave early the next morning and go back to LA. The scheduler told me 'no problem' and could I be on the property between 3 pm and 4pm on that day? I told her I had other estimates and my last one would end around 2pm so between 3pm and 4pm would be no problem for me. She said she would call me the morning of June 18th to confirm our appointment. So, on that Friday morning she did call me to confirm and told me that a man named Martine would meet with me between 3pm and 4pm. that afternoon. Come that morning, I was impressed that she called to confirm and I had every confidence I would be getting my estimate between 3pm and 4pm. So, at 3pm I was at the property with my realtor (who had to be there with me) and we waited together for Martine to show up. But by 3:50pm when Martine still had not arrived I called the company to make sure he was indeed coming. Not realizing the company's hours were from 7am to 3:30 pm. I was both shocked and disappointed that the company was closed and there was a recording with no emergency or after hours contact number. I left a message expressing my concern that he still had not arrived at my property at that late date. But, I continued to wait for Martine until 5pm hoping he would still come but he was still a 'no show'. So I gave up, locked up the property and me & my realtor left. I don't know if Martine ever showed up or not. The next morning the scheduler called me early and said she got my distressing message and wanted to know if Martine ever showed up and if not she would try to get to the bottom of this. By then, I was so turned off to this 'so called' professional landscaping company that I didn't call her back. Here's the problems I have with this company because of the following: 1) If they have scheduled an appointment that goes beyond their 'regular hours', then they shoud have a back-up number where you can speak to someone and find out what is going on. 2) Give the customer not only the name if the person coming out to do the estimate, but also their cell phone # so you can check-in with them if you are getting concerned about the time of their arrival. 3) Have an 'emergency' phone number available in case their guy doesn't show up at all, like in my case. Honestly, by 5pm I was really 'p*****' that nobody showed and that I could not establish any communication whatsoever with this company and was left hanging. I will never use this company and certainly can not, in good conscience, recommend them to anyone if this is they way they run their business.

Overall experience of just the estimate and design was awesome. (Updated, 6/14/10) I am completed WOWed!!! They showed up at 8:00 on the nose and worked until they completed the job. The job they did in my backyard was absolutely PERFECT!! I couldn't be more pleased with the estimate, the job, the quality, the honesty/intregrity and the neatness of this company and their landscaping performance. I really thought companies like this didn't exist anymore, but Chris and Mauri Landscaping proved me wrong. Thank you SOOO much for an awesome experience all the way around.

I first called for an estimate and Mike arrived at the scheduled time. We set up a date for the pruning. He arrived early in the morning of the appointed day. He and his crew did an excellent job and I will definitely have them back next year.

It took Mauri several days to return our call, but they exhibited great knowledge and professionalism when they came out to give us an estimate. The estimate was about mid-range of the 4 estimates we received (2 lower and 1 higher) but we felt they were the most knowledgeable. They arrived exactly at they time they said they would, and were done within the time period expected. They cut the trees down and cleaned up the yard so that you would never know a tree had even been there. The only negative is that they did some minor damage to our redwood deck, and they are going to call us to tell us what they are going to do to fix it. Except for that, we think they did excellent work.

It was difficult to get a quick estimate. Chris (the owner) was able to make it the day before I was to make my decision on a vendor. He quickly turned around a design. His vision was the most unique, and emphasized keeping a natural look. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. The prices of all the vendors were very similar, but I liked Chris' plan the best, and that he would get the work done in one day. Everyone else wanted two days to complete the job. I thought one day was ambitious, but it was completed as planned. He sent five workers to do the job. Chris was there at the top of the morning, on time, to make sure we were all on the same page as work began. Everything went according to the plan, there were no last minute changes or twists. In one day, my front yard was transformed from a grassy area, to a magnificent desert landscape. He included all native plants, and layed them out very nicely. All of the neighbors that stopped by loved the work. There were a few issues. One of the plants was infested with bugs. I noticed it a week later. Its been one month, and that plant has not been taken care of yet. The dumpster company he hired made four huge gouges in the street when they picked up the dumpster. It was eventually repaired, but I felt like it took a bit longer than it should have, requiring multiple phone calls from me to push it forward. The street is repaired, and the repair was done very nicely. In general, you have to catch the office during their business hours. Chris is very busy and hard to get to. Expect a day, and sometimes two, to get a call back. This was a little frustrating for me. Another issue is that the soil is "leeching". Around every plant there is a white patch of whatever is leeching up from the soil. I don't know what is causing it, but was never told that it could happen in advance. Chris suggested that once I stop watering every day, it would stop. It has not stopped, so the low maintenance landscaping is actually coming with some regular maintenance of raking around the plants. Two weeks after the job, Chris comes to inspect the work of his crew. It is a great aspect to his services. He brings with him a complete booklet of all the plants that were installed, and basic care info for them. This is a very good touch, and a helpful resource. Overall, I felt that the job was done very well. The final product is great. Hopefully, the leeching will stop and the bug infested plant will be taken care of. I may have to do that myself, but I felt on principle it should be handled by Mauri.

Mauri did a good job. They arrived on time for both the estimate and service appointment. They did a good job and cleaned up well after work. They did forget to remove one bush stump/roots, but when I called Mike he apologized and said he'd be out the next Monday to take care of it. He did and overall they did a great job. I will be calling Mauri again for future tree trimming and fertilizing.

When I came back from Afghanistan, I found an alarming water bill. I tracked it down to a leak in the 1/2 inch irrigation line in the back yard. The owner, Chris Mauri, returned my call on the next day, Saturday, after his office staff told me to expect a return call following the weekend. He told me that since his company had installed the irrigation system, it was still under their four (4) year warranty. We set up an appointment and the two man crew not only corrected the leak in minutes, they located a second smaller leak when they conducted a test of the system.

Secretary very professional Laqndscaper called back right away. Gave a good explanation of what needed to be done. Provided an accurate estimate. Showed up right when they said they would. Did good work and were very efficient. Cleaned up afterwards. Very professional. Thanks !!!

My previous paragraph said it all ... Mauri Landscape did fantastic job and please continue the excellent work. My neighbors are continuing to ask who performed the service and I'm more than happy to let them know that they need to contact Mauri Landscaping. Also, Mike Mauri did an excellent job on trimming my trees and canary palms as well. I won't mention names... but one of my neighbors will be contacting Chris soon.

Working with Chris and his team was amazing from the first phone call to the completion of the project! He is so ethical and honest, and the work was all done quickly and efficiently with minimal hassle! Our neighbors across the street have been having major issues with their landscapers- blocking the street, leaving messes, loud and rude behavior, and poor quality work. I cannot emphasize enough the stark difference the whole neighborhood has commented on- that OUR landscapers (Mauri Landscaping!) were the epitome of professionalism!

On my return from work, I notice the tree was trimmed and it looks better in both front and back yards. The limbs weren't crowded together as they were previously. The trees in the backyard looked very good and the limbs no longer pushed against the brick wall. The limbs were cleared away from the neighbors backyard and everything looks great. The canary palms looked good and clean. Mauri Tree did an excellent job and they even took away some additional shrub debris I had around the palms. They have don't sure an excellent job that I have other neighbors who will contact the company for price quote and possibly work on their gardens. The company treated me fairly and wanted to ensure my garden needs were taken care of and that I was happy with the work. I'm looking forward to see Mauri Landscaping performing my front yard project.

House built in 2002. Back and side yards never landscaped. Minimal landscaping in front yard typical of tract home construction. In short, the landscaping around the house looked terrible. Chris (owner) was really helpful in giving me ideas of how to put in a landscape that looked clean and attractive, without busting the budget. He is a real pro; extremely knowledgeable of plants and design. He met with me after the holidays and provided a detailed landscaping plan for the house. From past experience with other landscapers, I found the estimate he gave me too good to pass up. He sent a large crew out the following week and they had the job done in 6 hours. Couldn't believe how fast and efficient they were. They cleaned up and took away all the debris and trash after they finished. The landscape around the house looks terrific. I am totally pleased with the results. This landscaping company is really, really good.

I was very happy with the whole process. They even come back in 2 weeks to check on everything and reset the watering schedule. Jen and Chris are both very pleasant to work with.

Backyard landscaping and irrigation was installed in one day. There was a small problem with the placement of some of the plants but they came back out and fixed it with no hassle.

They were very professional and the quality of their work was outstanding.

Went as exptected. Mauri had good reviews and were prompt to give a quote. So we figured they do a good job. The tree was very close to the house and getting too big. Mike carefully cut branches and then took down the trunk piece by piece and put it all through a wood chipper. I was pleased with how careful he was with the branches to not smash any other plants or damage the house. The only thing that could have been done a little better was the clean up....we have rock landscaping and the clean-up crew left quite a lot of wood shavings and chips behind, both on the ground surrounding the tree and out front where the wood chipper was. But considering that tree removal was the most important part of the job, we're happy and would surely use them again.

Overall, a great experience. Scheduling was a bit of a problem as they are very busy, but once scheduled, they showed up and completed the work in a quick an professional manner. I also appreciated the great advice given by the foreman. He came to the house to provide an estimate and I asked his advice on the best fruit trees to use for the local climate. He recommended the lemon, lime and pomegranate trees for fruits. He also provided advice on the best size to purchase. He could have recommended the larger trees that bear fruit sooner. However, he listened to our needs and recommended the smaller size since we are in no hurry to get fruits. The office provided a detailed job description and acceptance form so we knew exactly how much we were going to spend prior to the work starting. The office personnel were always courteous and professional. Due to their busy schedule, they couldn't provide an exact time of arrival until the actual day of the work. However, we called them that morning and they told my wife what time to expect them. They showed up as promised and started work right away. They put the trees and shrubs exactly where my wife wanted them and repaired the leaking irrigation system. They then set up the drip irrigation timer so we don't have to hand water any more. We will definitely use their services in the future.
