Our experience with Mauri Landscapes was excellent from start to finish. Chris was a pleasure to work with; he's a very good listener who can translate your wishes into design, and makes the job of picking materials easy with a tour around the demonstration areas at his home. He provided a timely and detailed cost proposal, and honored that cost even though it took my HOA over 3 months to approve the design. The work was done quickly and cleanly, and his crew was hardworking and professional. We love our new back yard, and will use Mauri Landscapes in the future.

We called Mauri's Tree Company out to give us an estimate to trim trees around our house. While an estimator came out and looked around, we were never able to schedule the work to be done. We were told by Mauri's Tree Company that they didn't have time for us, and they never called us or responded to our repeated phone calls attempting to schedule an appointment.

I was very pleased with the company. They were very efficient and intelligent. They were very knowledgeable and cleaned up after themselves.

We live in an association which as most know require you to have a clean yard free of weeds and debris. Well it was getting that time again and the nasty weeds had sprung up all over in addition to all the dead leaves from not only my deciduous trees but my neighbors as well. Neither my husband or myself were able to find time to dig in and clean it up, so we turned to Angie's list to help us find a company that could take care of it for us. After reading various reviews, we chose Mauri Landscapes. The whole process - from the call to the office to the end result was a pleasant experience. The foreman showed up to our house on time and discussed what we needed done. He told us the owner would call us with a quote and we received a call from Chris the next day to let us know how much it would be. We set up a day for the work to be done and although we were not home when the work was completed, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived home to find our front yard looking immaculate! We hadn't seen it look that good since it was first put in. We have some backyard work and a rental property that needs yard work as well and we will not hesitate to use Mauri Landscapes again in the future.

After finding them on Angie?s List and doing some research of our own, we chose Mauri Landscapes to completely transform our front yard landscape. Except for 3 existing large Mediterranean palms, all we had was dirt. Chris Mauri, the owner, came to our home to listen to our ideas, measure our yard, and answer some of our questions. From the moment we met Chris, we felt comfortable, sensing his integrity and courtesy towards his customer. In a few days, we went to his office so he could show us the landscape design and proposal he had created. He combined our ideas, his creativity, and his professional experience to create a beautiful design that we were thrilled with. Chris eagerly answered any questions we had about the design and made any changes/tweaks that we suggested. The design was presented on his computer, so he could easily move things around and we could instantly see how it would look. When we were happy with the design, he gave us the line item estimate for the job and a copy of the design. There was no high pressure, no charge for the design and estimate-- just professionalism. He told us to talk it over and let him know if we wanted to move forward. It didn?t take us long to decide. We felt complete confidence and trust in Chris?s experience and character. After we signed the contract and before the job began, we had what Chris calls a ?nursery appointment? at his property. We walked through his property where he showed us examples of trees, shrubs, pavers, stone, rock, and lighting. Some nurseries will sell you any plant, even if they know it won?t do well in our Las Vegas climate. However, Chris will honestly tell you if a plant won?t do well here, and will suggest an alternative. After the nursery appointment, he incorporated some plant changes we came up with, and sent us the final design for us to approve. When the job began, Chris came out to get his crew started and to answer any more questions we had. The Mauri Landscapes crew was hardworking, respectful, and very professional. They were on time every day! Martin was the foreman, and you could tell he was very experienced. He was quite the perfectionist when it came to laying our pavers?and that is exactly what you want with pavers! Reuben was an excellent communicator regarding what the crew was doing and in answering questions we had throughout the job. Juan was extremely pleasant and thorough. In addition, I was impressed with the two other crew members (I don?t know their names) who worked both diligently and tirelessly. This was a professional crew! They were never impatient or put out by my questions or requests. If I requested them to move a plant over a little, they did it cheerfully. Even when they were placing the 300-500 lb. boulders and I asked them to turn it a little this way or that way, the crew never showed impatience or frustration. Not a trace of attitude, facial expressions, or body language suggesting that they were irritated by my requests. I APPRECIATE THIS! It shows respect for the customer. Too many times companies and employees display annoyance when a customer asks questions or wants to be involved in the process. Not Chris Mauri and his crew?they made us feel valued as a customer. Mauri Landscapes offers a superb warranty. Trees and shrubs are 1 year, irrigation systems are 4 years, and all other workmanship is 4 years also. The job was finished in a timely manner and there were no surprises. When I requested a couple of changes during the job, a change order was written up with the appropriate cost adjustment?sometimes increasing the cost a little, and sometimes decreasing it. However, there were no hidden costs, the estimate was accurate, and I always knew what to expect. The entire job was done precisely as the contract stated. Chris was 100% honest in every aspect of our job?a rare find these days! Two weeks after the job was completed, Chris came out to our home to check the work, make sure we were happy, and to give us a warranty/lien release/plant care information packet. At this time, Chris addressed any more questions and concerns we had. Any job will have a few loose ends, but the most important thing is that they are taken care of in a timely manner and with a positive attitude. Chris and his crew followed through, and we are pleased! When I hire a company to do a job, I am looking for experience, professionalism, courtesy, reliability, and honesty. Chris Mauri and his crew take pride in their work and give their customers reason to trust them. We are extremely satisfied with the landscape job they did, and would never hesitate to highly recommend them as a company of integrity! They were real good. The guy was real good who came out and gave me an estimate. They showed up the day they said they would to do the work. They got the work done in a timely manner. I give them A's across the board.

The process went well, although we did request a different color rock that wasn't available through their supplier. Also, we requested a 36" box tree, but ended up getting a 24" because the supplier didn't have a good selection of trees. Mauri Landscape did work with us on the price of the tree we got and did provide a good specimen in the 24" box.

The lady answering the phone was very nice. I explained I needed a palm trimmed due to a HOA violation. She told me that I would receive a call back within 48 hours. I never received a call within the time quoted. I called Saturday, but I got an answering machine on which I left a message. I still did not receive a call back, even to apologize. They obviously do not need the business.

He never showed up to do the job after the estimate. I did have to cancel the original date he was supposed to come out because my mother died and we needed to travel. When I called regarding this he never responded to me.

They do a great job. They always come when they say they will and are very professional. Mike is very knowledgeable about the trees and the quality is excellent.

They were very responsive. The did exceptional work. They showed up on the scheduled time.

I am so happy with Mauri Landscapes. My trees have never looked better. They did a great job on the landscaping as well. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

His name is Chris Mauri. They were excellent. They have come back several times to adjust things at no charge. They have been very, very good. They got the yard back the way it was. Their price seems fair and perfect to me. We would use them again.

We called to set up appointment for an estimate on taking trees out. They was very friendly, professional people on the phone. We set up time and they was very prompt to show up. She gave us a quote and recommended leaving on of the trees, just trim up. The quote was very reasonable what we wanted. Will definitely use them when we are ready.

We are very happy with them. I think we spent around $2500. They were very prompt, communicative and accommodating. They did everything on budget in the right amount of time. We would recommend them to others and would definitely use them again in the future if necessary.

One person reviewed the work I requested and made careful notes. I was called with the cost estimate, which I agreed to. I mentioned the Angie's coupon discounting the first cleanup and it was deducted from the estimate. Workers arrived as scheduled. They went straight to work. It was obvious that they knew what was to be done and had experience doing the work. Work was done as requested. Left the yard neater and cleaner than I had ever expected --based on experience with similar service from others.

I cannot remember a company that impressed me more with regard to how they do business. I had a irrigation system leak and it was immediately found and repaired. I was initially charged a $75 service charge fee, however, they later phoned me to advise that due to the nature of the repair, the fee was being reduced. This company has something most others do not, integrity. I have used Mauri in the past and will continue to use them for landscaping projects in the future. They are simply excellent...

Mike and his crew arrived right on time (7:00 AM) and started to work. They downed the tree in the front yard and then stump ground the stump so the ground would be level for the new sod. The crew then pruned my trees in the back yard. They finished the work in a very timely manner and did an excellent job of cleaning up. The price was very competitive and I can see why Mauri does not have to advertise. They do excellent work! Thanks again Mike.

From my first phone call to Di in the office, I knew these were reliable professionals who take their work seriously. We set up an appointment with one of Mauri's estimators, and he arrived exactly on time. He noted everything that needed to be done & said Chris Mauri would call me within a day or so to give us the estimate for the work. Chris called & gave us an estimate of $350, and I asked about the 10% discount I had seen advertised. He immediately agreed to $315, & we selected a day for the work to be done. The 2-man crew who did the work were extremely competent; they did every bit of the work we needed done and answered some questions we had about some of our plants/shrubs. We have already contacted Mauri's "arborist" and will be scheduling him to come out the 2nd week of November to trim our trees.

Overall experance was from start to finish was exceptional. Thanks Chris!

It was $150 for fertilizing all the big plants and $170 for my trees. I highly recommend them.
