 + -1 moreWe recently purchased and moved into a home in Siena, and the slate floor had about 12 years of ground in dirt and grime - it was all very dull and grey. Darryl gave us a quote and timeline, and although it seemed that much more work was required, he charged just what he quoted and finished timely. As a result of Marble Care's great work, people comment how beautiful and colorful our slate floor is. We highly recommend Marble Care!

Description of Work: We moved from Minnesota to Las Vegas in June. The marble top to our antique server was cracked into and was fractured rather badly. We contacted Daryl @ Marble Care and had him access the situation and give us his opinion. The options were that he could try to repair it or make a new top. Daryl said that he would like to try to repair repair the top and if he wasn't happy with he would take the pieces to a fabricator for a new top. If we weren't happy, he would not charge us for his service. He brought the piece to our home and lo and behold, it was perfectly restored. Daryl is a real artisan when it comes to Marble, you might say that what he did was magical. We also had him restore another marble top and guess what? It looks beautiful. My wife is very happy now!!!!!

Description of Work: I believe when our off white, travertine tile was put down (about 6 months ago) it was never sealed. This lead to several months of dust and dirt being ground into the porous tile. It had a dirty chalk look to it and there was no way any of our cleaning efforts helped the situation. It ALWAYS looked filthy and I could not stand it. I was ready to rip it out or put porcelain tile on top of it, at a great financial expense. ..... A neighbor suggested we have Daryl Harrington of 'MARBLE CARE, INC.' look at it and give us an estimate for restoration. ..... OH BOY! Am I ever glad I did! ..... Two men worked 4 days on it and now I have a lovely,shinney new travertine tile floor! I can't tell you how much of a transformation this is! ..... The two workers did an out standing job. They were always on time, pleasant and polite, cleaned up at the end of the day, rarely took a break and believe it or not, worked almost 10 hours straight on two different days! I can't say enough about them! ..... I positively recommend MARBLE CARE, INC. for any polishing or restoration work on tile floors. Daryl and his workers are honest and have out standing work ethics! ..... 5 BIG STARS! and 3 LOUD CHEERS! for this company!

 + 0 moreThey came out to our home with this sanding device and smoothed out the tile on the floor. The floor was installed wrong that is why it needed to be leveled. It took longer then it should have, but now you can slide a quarter across the tile it is that smooth. We were satisfied with the results of the floor.
Description of Work: They had to level trexor tile on our floor which about 1300 square feet.
