First class service performed on time and I was called 2 days later, to see if all was working well. Note! did not try to sell me a new furnace. Hard to find people willing to repair, not just replace.
Description of Work: Fire out, flame for pilot not high enough to open main valve. Main valve replaced with used valve.

I came to this company when I called Best Value Heating and Air for a maintenance call. I needed to replace my Honeywell F200 whole house media air cleaner. They never returned my call despite repeated messages (I found out later they were out of business). I called Honeywell for local company reference. They said, Manring and gave me phone contact which turned out to connect to Robert Manring. I called Angielist and company in their database. Robert came out to do assessment. He recommended use of Honeywell FC40R Return Grille Media Air Cleaner. I wouldn't have to go into attic to check it. He then went to attic to assess system installed by Best about two years ago. He told me there was a danger of fire and carbon monoxide leakage into house from the work that was done by Best (see above services performed). I asked him if when the house was built if the Heating and A/C was inspected to see if it was up to code, and he said that was true. When I asked if a new unit was put in did the system have to be inspected, and he said that was not the case. I also asked if the work Best had done was up to code, he said it was not. Josh got here about 30 minutes after appt scheduled because of line at supply warehouse. (I didn't view this as a problem) He was attentive and polite. Attentive to work. I asked him to take photos of existing work and replacement work which he did. I have complained to BBB about Best, but have slim hope of getting refund for maintenance contract ($135.00). I don't have the foggiest idea what happened to Best. They have a contratctor license. I'll call Manring in the late Spring for a maintenance contract.
Description of Work: "They found electrical pieced together with extension cord. Found AFD venting part of FAV in attic. Found plenom on end of all style coil. Losing extreme amounts of air.//We installed a vision pro 8000 thermostat. Removed AFD and vented with 4" Ameri-vent. Removed metal plenom and extended ducts to All Style plenom. Removed electrical and installed box with cover plate and ran romex to fav."///This is quote from service order. Joshua did the work. It took 5 hours ($425.00). The thermostat cost $250.00.

Robert had a two man team that did the work. They were very thorough, polite and knew their business. They completed the job in two days and everything worked as it should. They touched up scratches on one of the outside walls and repainted the access panels for the air handlers that were slightly soiled during the installation. I did not ask them to do this, they just did it! Clean up was thorough and all old equipment and packaging was removed from our property. Cost estimate and final price beat his competition and I didn't have to go through the "used car salesman's tricks" of other service companies.
Description of Work: Replaced a 5, 4 and 2 ton air conditioner and their handling units that were over 10 years old. Difficult access to two of the air handling units.

They were way too high priced. It was under warranty. Their responsiveness and work was unacceptable.
Description of Work: They initially installed the air conditioner for our house. Then, we had the air conditioning compressor and motor go out. The installation was in 2007 but repairs were done in July of 2009.
