Luis's company is called Quality Paint and Drywall. We've used him in the past on the interior of our home with good results. After getting several quotes to paint the exterior of our home, we chose Luis based on his history with us as well as because his quote was the cheapest. This turned out to be the worst decision we could have made. The job took a month even though he promised it would take a week. I will admit we had some horrible wind for about a week so he couldn't begin but other than that: He only brought two men to the our large two story home. This crew was extremely slow and their work was sloppy and sub-par. When we complained, he brought in a new crew of 2 sometimes 3 men. The first coat of paint went on horribly so Luis told us he had to bring in another sprayer to fix. He then told us the paint was bad so he had to buy more. What we actually found out later is that instead of using the Frazee paint we told him to use (that our home was originally painted in), he bought cheap paint from a swap meet and had it tinted. When that paint didn't work, he was forced to buy the actually Frazee paint. Also, we had some other fixes that we had asked him to repair were never completed even though he agreed several times that he would do them. When he came out to the house to inspect the finished paint job, my husband had a punchlist of incomplete fixes and paint touch up. Luis finally said that he was going to quit the project because he couldn't complete it properly and told us to keep the final $2,000 we owed him and that he'd call it a day. It didn't end there though. The next morning one of his painters from the 2nd crew showed up at our door saying that Luis called yelling at him that we didn't like the painter's work. I assured him that it wasn't him at all but it was how poorly Luis handled the entire project and explained that he, in fact, fired himself from the job. I was extremely unnerved by this visit. A few hours later, I received a phone call from Luis demanding the final $2,000 because his painters showed up at his house demanding their final paycheck. He told me they threatened to kill him if he didn't pay them so he changed his mind and I needed to pay him. Needless to say, I was shocked and refused based on how he quit and how much work and extra money we had to fix not only his work but things his painters broke (see further down). Another hour later, I received a text from him basically saying "never mind, I fixed everything with my painters. I love my customers." Because of his crew, one of our outdoor lights is broken and we will have to pay an electrician to fix it. One of our a/c units suddenly broke because it looks like something was spilled down into it. This cost us $4,000k to replace. None of the paint he left truly matches the house. As we try to touch areas up, the areas dry totally different and are extremely obvious. His painters did not clean up any of the painters tape residue so our pool deck as well as our windows have sticky white splotches on it. This has been a complete nightmare. Do not use this man! His company is called Quality Paint and Drywall.

Luis asked for a deposit for the granite countertops. He ended up spending the money and disappearing. We tracked him down. He made up a lot of excuses but agreed to work off the amount of 1750.00. We trusted Luis to measure the window opening for the replacement windows. He got the measurements wrong and the window order was wrong. He hid this from us. He then tried to install the NEW windows using a 1 X 2 sticks of wood running parallel to the base of the window, and hammered large nails through the fins to hang the windows on the outside of the building. Which left the weight of the windows unsupported. We were unaware of what was going on and when we tried to send over a stucco contractor he insisted he was a stucco expert. When we came to inspect the window install the whole job was a mess. At first we could not figure out why the stucco was trim was large as well as poorly (and I mean BADLY done). We finally had a contractor pull off a sample window to discover his fraud. And if this is not enough for you. He did the measurements for our new interior doors. He got the sizes wrong, had no tools, and then proceed to install the doors hammering then in with large nails splitting the interior frames. So recap. STOLE MONEY, SCREWED UP HIS CHANCE TO MAKE IT RIGHT, INCOMPETENT, AND A LIAR WITH NO MORALS< ETHICS. He was more worried about what I was going to say that would prevent him from working than his actions. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!!!

His quotes are always very reasonable. He can usually schedule to do the work within a week of approving the quote. His team works quickly and are professional. When complete, Luis walks through the project to show you all that was done and verify it meets your expectations.

He was very professional and he worked with me. He did a good job and was very clean. They had everything cleaned up when they left. It was amazing.
