 + -1 moreThe other company was less expensive for the same items that I wanted. They're installation prices were higher and I guess it depends on whatever special they have going on. Their quoted price was about $24,000.

 + -1 moreI cancelled the installation and purchased the door outright and installed it myself.{No buildout}. I e-mailed Lowes to complain about the bait and switch on the installation fee and was emailed that someone from Senior Management would contact me within 24-hours. A week and a half later no email. I shop Lowes quite a few times in a week but I think I will look elsewhere for products that need installation.
Description of Work: Was trying to purchase a storm installed. There was a 97.00 install fee plus a 35.00 measuring fee which was returned with the door installation. When I went to pay for the door plus the installation the cost had gone up 67 dollars for a "build out". The salesman couldn't explain what a build out was. I asked what the 97.00 was for and was told "normal Installation". Seeing this storm door was replacing an older storm door I had removed I questioned the additional 67.00.

 + 0 moreLowes sales team ( Tom Luisi) was excelent in providing the perfect layout for our kitchen. Any adjustments that we felt were needed they were quick to change while remaining inside our budget. Once the papers were signed the start date was given. The installation team was very professional and punctual every time they were on our property. We were prepared to be without a kitchen for about 6 week but the job was completed within a month. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and would recomend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Each part of the kitchen was revamped from the floor tile, walls , new ceiling, electrics, cabinets and countertop.
