LOS FLORES LAWN CARE

We used Leo's landscaping for many years. He has good prices and his crew showed up every week per the agreement. The reason why we had to let them go is due to communication, quality of service and professionalism. I had many mature plants die during the time he serviced my yard. The problem is that I would never be told they were dying, his guys would just chop them back until there was nothing left. When questioned he would say the plant was old, it was a hot summer, the plant got diseased, etc. (when is it not a hot summer?) Lately his guys have been forgetting to close my outer gates. I would come home from work and find my gates wide open. Today it happened again and this time they didn't close one of my inner gates and my dogs ended up out in the street. Luckily, I was home and got them in safely. Since this wasn't the first time I decided to text Leo and let him know so he could tell his guys to be sure to close the gates. He called me when he got the text, didn't apologize and blamed me for my dogs being outside and that it makes it hard for them to work. He blamed me, and then he hung up on me while I was trying to explain that it wasn't the first time. That honestly surprised me. Then he refused to answer when I called him right back. He did eventually call back and said he had bad reception that he didn't hang up. When I asked again to tell the crew to remember to close the gates he angrily blamed me again. Never once did he take any responsibility for what his crew had done either for this time or the several times before. He wouldn't even acknowledge it. So I went ahead and checked my security cameras, my dogs were not in the backyard and I watched as his worker open both gates, walked through without closing them and then I watched them drive away. So his people lied and he chose to believe them and blame me. Not good customer service, not a good person either. Bottom line here is that he and his landscaping crews have VERY bad communication, and professionalism, they lie and Leo is a bully. I DO NOT recommend them for your landscaping needs. After this experience, I'm pretty sure the problems start and end at the top with the owner. So, we had to let them go. I won't be yelled at, talked over and blamed for his crew leaving the gates open when they leave. I find it hard to believe that this is their first experience with a customer complaining about wanting their gates to be closed. Also, the person that referred Leo to us also fired him years ago for similar reasons. If you have simple desert landscaping and only need minor trimming and your yard blown out for cheap then they are your guys. If you require a little more information flowing back to you about the health of your plants, yard and irrigation system, look elsewhere, there are much better crews. ***

I am mostly happy with them. They come out and mow the yard every other week. There is just a language barrier which can become a problem.

He mows, weeds, does edging; he does everything in my yard related to gardening. Very honest and I feel really safe when he is here.
