Parts were required and the units could not be immediately repaired, but the owner asked to come out to assess the technician?s findings. The units are still under warranty, but after several service calls over a year?s time, the original installer has not fixed the problems. The owner himself took a couple of hours to inspect and test the units, then explained in detail the problems and solutions, and although he was willing to provide the extensive re-wiring he felt we should give the original company a final chance to correct the problems. He did not want to charge us for work that should be provided under the warranty, and even diplomatically offered to let them call him for help. It?s rare to find a company that recognizes the value of extraordinary customer service, and they have certainly earned our loyalty!!

Our A/C was sounding very loud and wasn't quite doing the job anymore. It was 15 years old so I guess it was time. We'd used Lin Air in the past for preventive maintenance and they were great so we decided to call Lin Air again and ask for a quote on a new A/C. Out of 3 companies they we're the most reasonably priced. They scheduled the install for 2 weeks later. They showed up exactly when they said they would and finished the job quickly. I am very happy with their work. I would moist definitely recommend Lin Air to all my friends and neighbors. A great company with an awesome staff. Thanks.

Our heating system was making a lot of noise and taking an extremely long time to heat the house. I called and was told they could see me that afternoon. The first day they changed some filters and started to determine where my noise and heating issues lied. They ended up having to come back the next day and were able to determine the wiring issues and the incorrect connection between our heat and A/C. Only charged us for 2 hours of labor...very fair. Our heat has been working excellent and quietly every since. I HIGHLY recommend Lin Air Service Co.

I called for a preventive AC Check Up. But then they asked me if anything was wrong. Well, no, AC working fine. But I happen to have one room that never gets as cold or warm as the others. This changed how they wrote my ticket, and they sent out a duct specialist. So I did not get the AC Check Up I was seeking, though got a quote for duct work that would fix the problem. The Angie's List rate for AC check up was $65. Received a bill for $80, and call company. They realized the confusion in service I was seeking, and sent out the AC guy that week to do the actual AC Check Up at no additional charge. I will definitely use them in the future, they were fair and made everything right. A neighbor also recommends them.

They were very professional and very friendly. I was very impressed. The cost was only the cost of a service call. The thermostat is working great. I found the company on Angie's list. They were on time and got the job done very quickly.

Lin-air is the original installer of the HVAC unit and has always been more than helpful in the event my unit needed servicing or inspection so I naturally turned to them. they are honest, hard working and thoroughly attentive to customer needs. Despite their work load due to the extreme temperatures in the valley and the usual air conditioning problems that arise from such heat they repaired my failed unit in a timely manner. My HVAC unit stopped working on a recent Sunday afternoon and I called Lin-Air right away to get in the queue, knowing they were most certainly busy repairing and servicing units across the valley. Lin-Air diagnosed the problem on Monday, got the parts and made the repairs on Tuesday. The house is now back to its temperate self and my wife and I are much happier for it. Thank you Lin-Air for taking care of a loyal customer. The cost of the compressor was covered by the unit warranty but the cost of labor and materials was not covered, in future I will seriously consider a systems warranty policy for my residence, particularly larger items such as the HVAC, water heater etc. The repair cost was reasonable considering the work done and the conditions under which it was done (+100 degrees on a sun scorched roof) and yet one hates surprises.

On Monday the north HVAC unit on our house began to blow hot air. I called Lin-Air to have them come and check it out. Due to the high temperatures in the valley and the usual flood of service calls that attend such temperatures they were booked until Thursday but promised to make it sooner if possible. True to their word they called Wednesday morning and said a technician was in the area and could come and check the offending unit. Pulling the breaker on the north unit reset its computer and it began to function properly. Not wanting to take any chances we had the technician perform standard service on both our HVAC units and they checked out OK. Lin-Air installed both units 7 years ago and has always been there for us when we had any concerns or questions I have always been pleased with their service and response and highly recommend them for any HVAC needs you may have.

The a/c unit went out in July and Lin-air prices were the best, so we went with them. Layne was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We called Lin-Air recently with a question and they replied back to us within minutes.

Great! The tech followed protocol and determined that electricity was not getting to the unit; despite my assurance that I had checked the breakers he looked, reset it, and I am once again enjoying a cool breeze on my most embarrassed face. He refused payment or even a cold drink. Rock on Lin Air!

After turning my AC on and it not blowing cold, I looked on Angie?s List and found Lin Air. I scheduled an appointment with Dave, who confirmed my compressor needed to be replaced. I'd replaced it through my home warranty less than seven years ago, which was an absolute racket that I didn't want to go through again. I asked about having the entire system replaced, and was quoted $5500-$6000. I decided to do that in lieu of spending $2000+ on a new compressor. Dave waived the $80 service charge for his visit, which was totally reasonable given what I was about to spend but still a pleasant surprise. I contacted Brent, the owner, that day to schedule the replacement. I have a 32-year-old condo conversion with an indoor pocket fan and coil. There is apparently only one company that still manufactures such a unit, which had to be special ordered. The scheduled day of installation ended up being 17 days later. A little long to wait but not a big deal as this was in April when it was still fairly nice out. Layne and the installation crew showed up on the scheduled day on time. I'd taken the ceiling panels and T-grid down ahead of time to help speed things up. I then had to leave for a bit and left my brother here. When I got back, they were more than halfway through. They ended up having to run new wire from the thermostat to the unit. My existing touchscreen programmable thermostat also wasn?t compatible with the new heat pump, so they replaced it with a programmable unit they had. All told, the installation took about five hours. The crew was very neat, and laid down cloth everywhere they would be working. I?d previously purchased one-way register covers to replace the two-way covers in the bedrooms, which, because of their location in the corners, were directing half the flow right up against the wall. The holes in the new covers didn?t quite line up with the existing holes in the duct, so I didn?t want to risk making them bigger. I asked Layne if they?d replace them, and he obliged. It looks like they just angled the screws enough to miss the existing holes though. Not the neatest installation, but the airflow in the bedrooms is much improved. Also, when they replaced my existing thermostat, they took the baseplate but left the face. I didn?t realize until later, but I would have preferred they left it, as I could have then given it to one of my neighbors or even sold it on Craigslist or eBay. I found the thermostat they installed to be bulky and unintuitive, and I ended up replacing it with a Wi-Fi enabled one. Overall, I am satisfied with their work. The system works well, and I can tell from my bills thus far that it is much more efficient than the old system. The fan is annoyingly loud, however, but being the only option, I have to live with it.

We found them through Angie's List, and they were very good. They were excellent. They are always on time, and that is important, and if they are not on time, they always have someone to call and say they will be late. Their communication is very good.

About as well as one could hope during the near record heat early in the season. On Sunday, my HVAC unit malfunctioned. It would run okay for about 30 minutes, then start blowing hot air. I turned it off for half an hour, and it ran for about half an hour, then blew hot air. After checking my filters, I repeated the process, same results. I gleaned Lin-Air's name from Angie's List and called them about 7:45 P.M. Got the answering service and a very quick call back from Lance. He suspected the unit was icing up and asked about the filters. When I told him I used washable electrostatic filters, about 5 years old, he said the filters clog with time no matter how well rinsed, and asked if I had some conventional filters I could swap out. I did and told him I would. As it was darkening, I have a rooftop unit, and the house temperature tolerable, he said change the filters, and that Lin Air's office would call me in the morning. Changed the filters, started the AC. The AC ran until the house was at thermostat setting and shut off properly. I waited 30 minutes, set the temperature down 1 degree. Again proper operation. Thought I was home free. However, about 10 P.M. (still 99 outside) the unit came on, ran for 40 minutes, then blew hot air. In the A. M. I got 2 complete cycles, then a malfunction. At 10:15 A.M., just as I was dialing the, Lin-Air called. Within thirty minutes, Brad, the Lin-Air Technician was at the door. It took him no more than 10 minutes to identify the fan motor as the culprit. And, as it shut down as we were standing by the unit, any vestigial skepticism vanished. Within thirty minutes he had the motor replaced, unit checked, and was on his way. I had a well functioning AC unit. While a lot of money, the motor replacement price was not exorbitant in this market. With the Angie's list discount, I think its probably a bargain. I found Lin-Air's response superior. My only complaint--and it is not with Lin-Air--would be that a motor with repackable, replaceable bearings rather than a sealed "lifetime" unit, would be much easier to maintain and cheaper to repair. Also, a longer axis on the motor and precision balanced blades would increase durability and efficiency.

We chose Lin Air due to a recommendation of a coworker and also Angie?s List reviews. Sales staff were very helpful with their recommendations for our home. The cost of the unit and its installation was reasonable when compared with similar units. The installers arrived on time and were very professional. The installation took considerably less time than the installation of our previous unit by another company. The installers also installed two new air vents in two of our rooms which were warmer than the rest of the house. This went excellent! Lance was great! He came out the first time my air conditioner went out and put some stuff in it to keep it going. He just wanted to get it through the summer and until the air conditioners were on sale. He was honest and told me he wasn’t sure how long it would last. He didn’t even charge me for the service. Three months later it did go out and he was the first person I called. They got it done in one day and I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

We noticed there was dirt around the vent. I called Lin Air on Wednesday 4/16. Elioth came out the next day. He diagnosed the problem. There was a screw missing from the vent. He fixed it. He cleaned around it. Then he went into the attic and sealed the ducts. We noticed the air conditioner is giving us more cold air. Thank you Elioth.

It went very well. The customer service was great and the worker came on time and was courteous. He was very honest and mindful of my budget. I plan on using them again for the AC tune up.

Made an extra trip to provide service sooner than promised.

First off, the office staff (i forget the girls names) were fabulous!!!! they called to let me know how there schedule was running, if they had to pick up parts, when they'll be back. I wanted to give them my CC info so they could just bill me as the job was complete. That is a NO NO only when the job was done and i was satisfied, besides they didn't want to take the chance of anything (fraud) going on with the card. They worked around my tenants schedule. Whether it was the best price I could have received doesn't matter, I HAVE A PEACE OF MIND. Definitely will keep them as my GO TO AIR CONDITIONING PEOPLE.

This company it the best HVAC company out there. My neighbor and I both had the units replaced by them. Layne, Brent, Ed, and the whole staff will make sure they go out of there way to keep you happy.

The full HVAC install went went well as these guys were one of the lower prices from the start and no BS. I was referred by a colleague that had work also done by them about a year earlier. They showed up on time, worked quickly, cleaned up, and charged what they promised. I will definitely use them again for my 2nd HVAC unit in a year or so when I am ready.
