Great service. Techncian was here when promised and they fixed the problem the same day. We have used this company before and they have always been prompt, professional, and right on with the quote for the repair.

The job overall went quite well. Dave got right on the problem and had it figured out and fixed in about an hour. Outstanding he knows his stuff!

The 2nd floor temp was 82 and it was not cooling down. Called Lin-Air on Tuesday morning and Dave was out within an hour to check out my system. He told me the motor was bad and it needed to be replaced (still under warranty). He contacted his office and ordered a motor--delivery would take two days (thankful for the 2nd AC unit). Dave was very professional and quickly replaced the bad motor. I'm happy and much cooler.

It was great. I got a no hastle estimate, which was not the casewith some other companies. Lin Air gave no high pressure, they were extremely polite. I defiantly would recommend them to other members. I also got a discount for being a member of Angie's List.

It seem that this company is reliable.

called lin-air with a problem of "loud noise" coming from our ac unit. the noise was random, but quite loud. they came out the next day and told us that because of the age of the unit (approx 10 years) we could have a problem with the motor, compressor or both, as well as the problem that our unit type was being phased out and there were not a lot of replacements available. after weighing all of the options, we decided not to take a chance that the unit would quit working completely in our 100+ degree weather and replacement the unit with a newer model which would give us about 10 more years before we would have to replace the entire hvac system because a new ac unit coil would not match the existing one on the furnace. the unit was replaced on the same day as the service call (7/2/2010) and it took them about 1-1/2 hours to complete the job once they had the unit delivered.

Brent came out and did a seasonal service on my two Lennox A/C units. He checked the coolants in the systems, and made sure things were charged properly. He showed me how to rinse out the filters; which he did,showing me how not to cause any harm to the units. He tolded me how to find out if my units had a warranty on them from the manufactor; in case of future repairs,I could probably get any parts I needed covered. He also showed me how to set up the thermostats on the upstairs and downstairs units so they would run more efficiently and not put more strain on the upstairs unit. He talked to me about the different filters he suggested I use as replacements. He was very honest and credible. I had called him out because units where making alot of noise when they came on. He told me that over time that happens, and there were things I could do but he thought it was unnecessary.He didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. And I could understand his english very well!!! That was a major plus. It was all good.

We heard a grinding noise coming from our A/C unit fan one morning that concerned us. I went over and gave it a few taps and the sound went away. Still concerned, I called Lin Air later that morning to schedule a time for inspection. The operator was very nice and genuinely concerned about the unit. She advised that we turn it off, and she would have someone out to us ASAP. This was on a Wednesday. They were booked up that day, Thursday, and Friday, but assured me that someone would be by on Saturday. The guy (Dave) who performed the inspection, found nothing wrong. He went ahead and performed standard service and maintenance on our A/C unit and presented us with the bill for $75. He was very nice and professional. All in all, Lin Air was great from start to finish. I will definitely do business with them in the future as well as recommend them to friends and family.

Overall it was a good experience but the last few items are still waiting to be done. They missed a couple vents and we are still waiting for them to be replaced. They were supposed to be here on Friday, but did not show. Not a big deal as we still have not paid the last invoice and will not until complete. They were very good about working with the other contractor and made sure we were not without A/C for very long. The new rooms were not finished yet so they placed covers on the ducts to keep them clean and explained to us some of the noises we may hear since the system could not be set up properly. I would recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work whether it is repair or replacement.

I called Lin Air on a Friday and made an appointment to have a service technician check out our air conditioner as it was not putting out cool air. My appointment was for Tuesday between noon and 4:00 pm with the understanding that I would be called if an earlier time became available, which it did. Dave came within the window of time I was given and went directly to work. He analyzed the problem, explained what needed to be done and got everything working again. I also inquired about future installation of new units and he was very good about answering all my questions. Hopefully, we can get by with our 13 yr. old units for a few more seasons, but it's good to know what kind of expenses we should be prepared for. I am very pleased with this company. Oh yes, it was also nice to receive an Angie's List Member discount. Thank you!

Called for appointment for second opinion after another AC service advised us 10 year old AC unit needed replacement. We were impressed with Lance's knowledge and the time he took to explain the pros and cons of various systems. We set up appointment for install. Workmen arrived on time. Completed all work quickly and efficiently. Even laid tarps on floor to minimize dust residue and vacuumed floors when project completed. Old units were hauled away, no extra charge.

It went great. Our system was old but operating so we could take our time selecting a contractor and research our needs. Brent's proposal offered the best bid in terms of price and performance. We worked with Brent scheduling the work, allowing him to service his clients who had immediate needs. We scheduled the work about a week after notifying Lin Air of the award..They arrived on schedule and completed the work as promised , despite some difficulties with space constraints. Brent was on the job for the entire duration and was very closely involved in all aspects of the work. All in all I highly recommend Lin Air and I will use them for future maintenance

A few years ago, I had a heating problem with my other furnace. The heating company I called diagnosed the problem as a faulty logic board on the air handler. They charged a lot to replace the logic board. It took two folowups to fix things they had overlooked (failed to secure the air handler access panel and left an air sensor hose loose which fell off a few months later thus causing the furnace to be inoperative). When a similar problem occurred in my second furnace, I turned to Angies List to get a heating and A/C repair recommendation. Lin Air was at the top of the list so I called. Although they were busy, the dispatcher thought she could get us seen late in the day. They kept us informed throughout the day and David came out and looked at the problem. He told us the logic board was showing a fault, but it was easy to reset. He couldn't be sure how long it would last, but he gave us three options. 1) repair it (his estimate was about half of what I was charged a few years ago), 2) showed me how to reset it from time to time until it fails completely and have it repaired then or 3) wait till October when they run specials and have them come out to repair it (before the cold weather). I opted to repair it so I wouldn't have to worry about it.

Did exactly what was needed, no upsell of other services. The way you like service to be. They also showed up within the midrange of the service time window.

The crew showed up on time on Friday morning and they very professionally replaced the unit in less than three hours. I am completely satisfied with the work that was performed and would highly recommend them to anyone with A/C problems.

It is a small, family-run business, they have great prices, they are very easy to work with, and they don?t change anything after they tell you what the scope is. Their service is good and they back everything up. When they installed a new unit for me, I know it was the best price in town.

Our overall experience with them was excellent. They were very competitive with their bid and they were quick to get the service done. They were very neat and professional. We really liked them and also recommended them to our neighbors as well. We would use them again in future.

We called them. They came out, looked around and gave us an estimate. They came last summer so we said we didn't need anything right then but they could come back and give us a better price when it cooled off. In the meantime, we never called them and they never called us so we still haven't done anything. They didn't charge me anything to come out and give an estimate. They seemed very knowledgeable but I was kind of surprised that they didn't give us a call back. They were great about getting right back out here after we called them but they never called us back after they left. They also seemed to be professional. They were going to go off for training in another week which I was impressed by. I would call them for another estimate.

I came to know of them through Angie?s List. I called them and they told me what to do. They called me back and gave me the time period within which they would arrive. They also called right before they came. They were here the same day that I had called them, and it was a hot day. They fixed the issue within a reasonable amount of time. My experience with them was very good. I recommended them to some friends and they were pleased with the service too.

The scheduler gave me a 2-hour window for the scheduled appointment and informed me that I would be notified when the tech was on his way. I was notified towards the end of that 2-hour window and the tech arrived about 40 minutes later. I appreciated the courtesy notification, because there are few things more frustrating than wasting time to wait for a service tech that may or may not show up. The tech completed his inspection and, fortunately, did not find any problems with the furnace or a/c. I thought the cost of the service call was very reasonable and would use this company again.

My old heat pump and air handler needed replacing. Having had good experiences with other Angie's List contractors, I checked and found what seemed to be a Brvery reputable company. A neighbor of mine had used Lin Air recently and also recommended. That was it, I called. Brent came next day, took measurements, explained options, costs and what was involved, then gave a written estimate. On install day Brent and his crew arrived on time, spread protection tarps and wasted no time. While removing the old heat pump Brent discovered a cracked support slab and immediately replaced it as part of the installation. They were all courteous, efficient and cleaned up afterward. I was pleased with the whole experience.
