Although we hit some snags, I am someone who appreciates trying things that are low cost before replacing parts that may not need to be replaced. I also appreciated the advice that it may be helpful to warranty out the parts with the other company. These to me are honest and in my best interest, something that many companies overlook. Lance did run into car problems and failed to call us to let us know, but he was very apologetic and rectified the problem. I am not looking for perfection, but appropriate ownership and following up with a solution if a problem presents. I believe that Lance did this and was very friendly and likeable.

It was a pleasure to do business with Lin-Air. They returned my call withing an hour and a service rep, Lance, the owner's son, came to my house within two hours. This is outstanding service condsidering this is the middle of a Las Vegas summer when the temps are way above 100 degrees and air conditioners are failing everywhere. Lance troubleshot the unit and diagnosed a shorted compressor. The unit was tripping the circuit breaker immediately when turned on. Since the unit was 18 years old, a failure like that was not a surprise. We discussed my options with the corresponding price for each. I ended up changing the outside unit vice repairing the old one. Lance is a very personable man who understands professinal customer service. (This is rare in Las Vegas.) There was no pressure sale pitch from him--just go old fashion quality service. He communicated well, called before he came, and was there when he said he would be. Once I decided to change the unit, he came back the next day with his work crew and a new replacement unit. It was quickly installed and working. Then, most impressively, he spend another hour with us after the installation was complete ensuring that the a/c was cooling correctly and performing up to specification. Thanks Lance!

I found them on Angie’s List. He came out, troubleshot and found the problem. He fixed it and it’s been working wonderfully ever since. He was outstanding. My husband was very impressed. I’ll use him again in the future.

Company arrived sooner than expected. Did an excellent job. My tenant reported-They were very professional.

I put in a request a few days before the service was received due to the high volume of AC outages and heat. The gentleman arrived promptly and checked out the unit as requested and found the blower wheel a little out of balance but working fine at this time. He gave me an estimate to repair when the time comes for repair or replacement. I was a little apprehensive about someone of his size and weight going on my older roof which is dry and brittle and also in need of repair/replacement. I will certainly use this company in the future for regular maintenance and routine checks and replacement if needed.

Our system is 20 years old, Sunrise did not even want to work on it, instead tried to hard sell us on a new expensive system. Dave from Lin air came out promptly and diagnosed a bad blower, $400. He returned the next day with parts and completed repair with a fair asessment on our system. Will definitely use them in the future

The experience could not have gone better, given the circumstances. I mean, no one wants to replace an AC unit, but since it happened anyway, Lin Air made the best of a bad situation. We were grateful.

They have been great. When we replaced our stuff, they were cheaper than anybody.

I had a coupon for the work so it was $50. I will most definitely use them in the future and I will use them for my rental houses too.

Overall the job went well. Although the service tech was 30 min late, he called us early to inform us he was delayed at another call and set a new arrival time which he made. Tech was very personable and took the time to answer all our questions.

Another company diagnosed that my west side rooftop 9-year old 5 ton heating and air conditioning unit's compressor had gone bad. (I have another similar unit--that is still working--on the east side of my home.) I called around for estimates on replacing it and I used Angie's List to find Lin-Air. I spoke with Brent Johnson of Lin-Air on Friday morning, 9 June and he gave me a price right over the phone on a brand new 5 ton 13 SEER American Standard unit including a 10 year warranty and brand new digital programmable thermostat. His price was over $1900 less than another quote that I obtained, including the 10% discount that he gives Angie's List customers. Since the cost of merely replacing the compressor in my old unit was half the amount of Brent's quote for the new unit and with the great rating Lin-Air has on Angie's List it was an absolute no-brainer to go with them. Brent stopped by our home that Friday afternoon and left his written bid which I accepted on the spot and he said a deposit wasn't necessary. Brent said he'd be out with two trucks and a crane at 9:30 AM today, Monday, 13 June 2011. Brent showed up at 9:27 AM with two of his co-workers. They worked as a synchronized team to prepare my old unit for removal by the crane. The new unit--that was about to arrive on the crane truck--fits the width of my roof opening but is about eight inches shorter in length than my old unit. Brent and his team took care to prepare the inlet and outlet vents to accept the new unit and to seal that eight-inch opening in our roof with sheet metal and mastic. They were ready when the crane showed up about forty minutes later and in about twenty minutes after that, the new unit was in place on my roof and it fit perfectly as the crane operator lowered it in place! The entire job was completed in less than three hours and that side of my house is cool once again. Lin-Air, with Brent and his team, is a first-class operation. A local news station even featured Lin-Airs' service while they were at my house. To go from a broken worn-out rooftop 5 ton air conditioner with an expired warranty on Friday morning to a brand new, more energy efficient unit with a 10-year warranty by noon on the following Monday is simply spectacular service. Lin-Air and Brent Johnson, you're Number 1, Thank You!

I found them on Angie's List. I liked that they came out on a Saturday without any extra charge. They were prompt and professional. I liked everything about them. Everybody would say that they charged too much but I thought that it was fair.

They were very good. They came out and did their work. They were pretty quick. They were only here for a little while. They said it was okay and they left. They were punctual, but they didn't offer me anything. There was no feedback from them. They were professional, but not so forthcoming.

Dave arrived as scheduled. He was pleasant and professional. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. This is the 3rd time I have used Lin Air and have never been disappointed. I intend to use them to replace my aging units when it becomes necessary. I am grateful that so far they have been able to keep them operational.

Technican checked the heating system while performing the A/C semi-annual service. We have lived in the home for 11 months, and requested the service rep check the heating unit for any items that may be covered by the one year warranty on the unit provided by the builder. They did not charge for this request. Will use this company in the future for our semi-annual service on the heating and A/C units. Very pleased with the service.

Brent Johnson came out and asked us many questions about just what we wanted from a new air conditioning unit. He was extremely knowledgeable and always took the time to answer all of our questions. On the day of the installation, everyone showed up on time and completed their assigned jobs. The work was completed in 3-4 hours. They cleaned up all dirt and construction trash. We were very pleased with their work. So far, we are happy with the air conditioner. It is very quiet and produces cool air.

They did a real good job, though there wasn?t much to it. This is the first time I had them come in and I thought that the price was high. Their responsiveness was good and they were right on time.

We have used Lin-Air for several years to keep our old system going. This year we decided on a new system. I have talked to or worked with several members of the Lin-Air family. They are all wonderful people. Brent gave us a bid. We didn't look anywhere else. They came out and put the new system in. We were surprised on how little time it took. We had a room that wasn't getting any air/heat. They fixed it. They replaced 75% of the duct work. They gave us a 10 years parts and labor warranty.

Lin Air is great! The receptionist is very helpful, nice and made sure I was directed to the right person to answer my questions. After talking to one of the reps about my A/C he was able to schedule a service call the next day. They were prompt, professional and answered all my questions about my A/C and heating unit. I am very happy with the folks at Lin Air and would recommend them to my friends. I will be calling on them again for my annual services and if anything else "happens" with my unit.

Their service and professionalism were excellent. My old AC had to a difficult issue and they had to trouble shoot for a while and even went through a couple extra parts trying to figure it out. They didn't charge me for the extra time or extra parts and gave me a discount to boot! VERY EXCELLENT SERVICE.

the repairman was professional ,polite and helpful. he did not rush,was on time, and spent adequate time dealing with my concerns and questions reference the heating and a/c system

All well done except he did not know how to program my thermostat.

I called Lin Air after being unsatisfied with the company I had utilized in the past. Lin Air was rated highly among Angie's List members. I must say that the high ratings were well deserved. After calling the office David came out and quickly diagnosed the problem with the Air Conditioner. He provided a fair estimate and completed the task in a timely manner. David later came out and followed up on all work. David ensured that I was completely satisfied with the work done before I was charged. The entire experience was positive and I would recommend Lin Air to anybody that is looking for true professionals

Lance was quick, professional and friendly. I should have posted this review a year ago but I forgot until I needed a heating unit fixed right way.

Dave was very professional and I could tell right away he was very knowledgeable and experienced. I have an odd brand split gas/electric unit in the attic but Dave knew immediately what was wrong and how to fix it. I'm impressed again.
