Unbelievably fast service! I called at 8:00 this morning to ask for service. It was time for a general look-see and the unit was not producing heat. It is now 12:30 and the job is already finished! I needed a new thermostat and Dave explained the workings thoroughly. He also replaced the filter AND took the old one out to the trash. Who could ask for anything more?!!! I will definitely use this service again and will tell all my friends about how great they are.

I called Lin-Air about the air quality in my high rise condo unit. They spent time with me on the phone going over all the options and ending up recommending that I don't spend the money with them to do custom HEPA filtration work. Instead they walked me through the best air filters that I could get and how to install them. I was impressed that a company would spend 10 minutes on the phone helping me, AFTER knowing that I wouldn't be customer. I will definitely call them in the future for any HVAC needs.

I found Lin Air on Angie's List and called them when we woke up one morning to the furnace blowing cold air. I didn't expect them to come so quickly, but they came out the same day. I was very pleased with that. Brent Johnson was the tech who came out, and I was very impressed with him. He diagnosed the problem, and then laid out all of our options on paper, ranging from a fairly inexpensive quick fix to the problem, to a more expensive but long term solution. He thoroughly explained each option, including the pros/cons, costs, the reasons for each option, etc. He very patiently answered all my questions, and believe me, I had a lot of them. Not once did he make me feel rushed, pressured, or like he was being inconvenienced. I appreciate that. He was extremely professional, yet also personable. I told him that my husband and I needed to talk about it, and that I would get back to him. He didn't charge me for the diagnosis and all the time he spent at our home. We decided that since this had been an intermittent ongoing problem for years and because our unit was so old, we would go ahead and replace the entire thing. This would give us an entirely new unit with a full 10 year parts and labor warranty from the manufacturer. The actual installation occurred a couple days later, and it went very smoothly. Brent came out again and answered any more questions I had and educated us on the unit, warranty, etc. The cost of the unit was exactly what he had quoted--no hidden costs. Before I knew it, we had heat again! Our experience with Lin Air was extremely positive. Brent Johnson was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. We were very satisfied with the work Lin Air performed. From this experience, I would definitely recommend Lin Air.

Great service, professional, prompt response, and they know how to get the problem fixed. Why use anyone else.??

Lin-Air came out and changed 1 transformer as well as look at how I set up the thermostat. It was setup correctly but it blew the thermostat. They changed the transformer and it blew another one as the thermostat was bad. The next day Dave came out and replaced 2 thermostats and 2 transformers. Both techs that came to the house were profesional and courteous. I would use them again in the future.

Once Dave arrived he asked for explanation of the problem, he checked the thermostats first, turned them on, and proceeded to the attic. Hearing a bit of pinging and banging I was getting nervous thinking 'BIG BILL AHEAD". However, when Dave came downstairs he smiled and said, "All's well". I asked about the screeching sound he said it was the gas valve and required a slight adjustment but I was going to hear it from time to time as it was adjusted as best could be. The second unit was working just fine. Needed time to warm up he indicated. I also asked about the humidifier that is attached to the units and unfortunately Lin-Air does not service these items. I asked how much he thought it was going to be and he said "just the service call today, $80.00". He was in and out in no time and we have heat. This company was quick to reply to my request on Angies List via a personal phone call from Brent on Sunday evening. First thing Monday the staff was pleasant and very helpful and the tech knew his stuff. I am quite pleased with Lin-Air and all their employees!

They were very prompt. They must have had 6 guys over here working, tearing the old one out in the attic and outside. The employees were very nice, they were very prompt and had everything done in one day. They had a great price and they threw in a 10 year warranty on service and parts which is very good and would usually cost you $500 just for that. They were out recently to check and see how the heat was coming on, they put in both and AC and heating unit. The service man who came over helped me with setting the thermostat up for the winter, he was a really nice guy. I found them on Angie's List.

The serviceman appeared right on time and checked out the heating system. He was extremely helpful and gave us tips on the care and maintenance of our heating system for a more efficient and longer life. It was nice to see the same serviceman who came and serviced our AC just a month ago. Overall we are extremely pleased woth Lin Air and wil continue to use them for any AC and/or Heating unit needs or replacements. Definitely do use this company and you will be glad you did.

They were here on time and gone in just a couple of hours. Very professional job and answered all my questions. Did what was required and beyond. Asisted me to the roof to check out their work. I had gotten other estimates, and one company had quoted me twice the amount for the same unit./job. I would hightly recommend this company if you don't like overpaying and want someone to do what they promise to do. I found them on Angieslist and got a discount for that. Overall, they company is absolutely excellent! They are friendly and they get back to you right away. They have a real live answering service as well.

They are real efficient. Their prices are probably a little bit more than other people. I've seen some for $59.95. I will have them out again this fall, probably in October.

Very professional, gave best and worst cast scenario. It ended up being best case :o)They stated that they were pretty busy for that Saturday but would see if anyone of the crew could come by. They did, and within the hour even. Very, very pleased with their service and honesty.

After returning from vacation late in the evening, I noticed a loud humming from my upstairs AC unit. I could hear it inside and outside the house. The air was blowing and it was cold but the noise was getting louder and woke me up during the night. That morning I called Lin Air. I had used their services before when the fan stopped working on my downstairs unit last year. Their quick response and reasonable price for that repair made my decision of who to call easy. (I had found them last year on Angie' s List and gave them a try.) When I called they advised shutting the unit off and told me they would try to come out later that day but if not it would be first thing the next morning. It was the next morning when they came but I had no problem overnight because the unit would not shut off, the air was cool and I wore earplugs to block the noise. The problem was a relay(?) or regulator switch that allowed the blower fan to keep running when the blower was off and it wasn't supposed to run without the blower being on, hence the noise. The repair took less than a half hour to replace the switch and the total was $200 parts and labor. All is cool and quiet and I would call Lin Air again if I needed AC repair

Brent called ahead to let me know he was on his way. When he arrived, at first i was worried because he told me that the particular imported AC unit that I had was very expensive to obtain parts for. I think most of us have had the experience of a service person telling us that something may be quite expensive as a "buttering up," for the bill. I told him that the house inspector thought that the problem may simply be that the unit needed refrigerant, and I was disappointed at first when he told me that the unit did have refrigerant. A bit later however he said that it was low, and continued to add refrigerant. After a few minutes, i could feel that the unit was putting out cold air, and was relieved that this was the apparent problem requiring not replacement parts. Brent told me up front the cost of the refrigerant, and so there was no surprises on this repair. My home inspector told me that one of the attic furnaces did not light, so Brent went into the attic, and emerged later telling me that all the furnaces lit properly, and that there was no problem. I got my bill, and it was for the cost of the refrigerant, and no other charges for the furnance check or other labor charges. i was very pleased and in fact just asked Brent to order me a new HVAC controller to install in the near future.

The folks at Lin Air were exceptionally responsive, customer-oriented, professional, ethical, and reasonably priced. As an absentee landlord (having left Las Vegas for a job on the East Coast), I occasionally have to deal with house emergencies from afar. My house sitter encountered a serious emergency problem with the air conditioning during a very hot time of the year in Las Vegas, so he called me. I immediately checked out air conditioning service companies on Angie's list and called Lin Air. They said they could fit in a service call the next day, but then they called back because a previously scheduled job finished sooner than expected and they had a truck in my part of town. They offered to drop by my house sooner, even that day. When they got to the house, they quickly diagnosed the problem, which was less serious than I had expected. They fixed it and came back to check on it the next day. I was delighted that they were honest and did not try to sell me a whole new air conditioning system when the problem was, in fact, minor. Being able to trust a service provider is even more important for a homeowner who has been forced to relocate for a job--and cannot physically inspect the house in person. Thank you, Lin Air! I will absolutely, positively call on you the next time I have air conditioning problems in Las Vegas.

I called Brent to service the air conditioners and check the thermostat. He came right over, performed the service and barely charged me. This was a couple years ago. I called him again recently since I am re-renting the home and he was prompt to return my call and be available during the walk through to make sure that everything is A-Okay. I trust his technical ability and reasonable price along with his professionalism. I highly recommend his service.

I got them through Angie's List. They were great. They came out and gave us a good price. They got the work done quickly. I got few other estimates and their prices were very comparable. They were good. They were on time and they got the job done on time. They were very professional. I would definitely use them again in the future.

It would not be possible for me to write a better report about my experiences with a service company than I am for this one. Everything was TERRIFIC!! Our a/c went out overnight and based upon my call in the morning technician Dave( who has been working for them for around 30 years!) came out that very day. We have an older system so a replacement suggestion would have been hard for a home owner to say no to. Instead Dave went right to the problem, replaced the faulty part, checked out the whole system, billed me $100, and summarized his findings for me. We had no discussion about replacement since a reasonably priced fix was possible. The whole visit was about 45 minutes and was handled PERFECTLY. Please don't think I work for this company or have any ties to them other than now being a satisfied customer that will call them next time for sure. This industry is full of shady companies that try to maximize your bill each time they see you, this company really does look to do the right thing based on the problem at hand. Lin AIr has made me a long term customer who will not shop around for HVAC service anymore. Calling Lin-Air was the answer to my problem and I really appreciate finding a contractor that I can trust.

We have had so many problems with other air conditioning companies it's ridiculous. The last person to come look at our unit said that he couldn't work on it because it was installed wrong and just left. Lin Air came out when they said they would (that is a first for me) . Lance was friendly, kind (my dog liked him) and he was able to tell me what the problem was and fix it in about 30 minutes time. I was told it was a very simple fix and he only charged me a service fee....awesome. I had a stomach ache before he got here...PTSD from dealing with other companies no doubt, but felt pretty good when Lance left. I will definitely contact Lin Air in the future for my heating/cooling needs :)

I was apprehensive in looking for a company to come out and diagnose and possibly repair my AC unit that had stopped working recently. I had heard, through many friends, that Angies list was very reputable and had VERY good referrals. With that in mind I did a little research and then signed up with Angies list. Within minutes I was registered and began my search for a reputable AC company. After reviewing a number of different companies and their reviews, I decided to go with the HIGHLY recommended LIN-AIR. Well, suffice it to say.....I am very happy that I did. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment, everything was handled in a very professional manner and very courteous as well. They were able to accommodate me within a few days, on short notice and in the height of the season. The service technician, Layne, was VERY polite, professional and explained everything in detail. I would and plan on using LIN-AIR again for all of my AC and Heating needs. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this company!!!! They are professional, very well priced.....and HONEST.
