The guy came out and found the problem and fixed it. He did a good job. It was too expensive. I probably wouldn't use them again.

Overall the experience was about as good as it gets

AC stopped working. We called and they were fully booked but made every effort to work us in to the schedule. Dave came out and fix the problem in about 20 minutes. Fast service, found the root cause right away. I most like the fact that he did not try to sell us anything we didnt need compared to a competitor company that came out to our house last year. He treated my wife with honesty and respect while I was away at work. Will tell my freinds about the service and to call them form now on. Thanks Jim

Very disappointed in the treatment I got after the review the have on Angies List. Would never use them or recommendthem to anyone.

My air conditioner had gone out and I called them. They have a person that answers their calls on a Friday night, at 7:30. They called me back on a Friday night. The uncle came over Saturday morning. I had a choice between a new compressor or a new air conditioner. It was in on Monday. I was really impressed. We have used them for over 20 years.

Company unable to come same day since it was late at night but followed up the next day first thing in the morning. I may not have used Lin Air, but I appreciate the response and follow up. Most companies wouldn't bother to call you back if you went elsewhere. I would recommend them based on my initial contact experience.

Called at 10am and they were able to get someone freed up and at our house with in an hour. Whole issue fixed within an hour and a half. Amazingly fast response time and excellent work. I was very impressed with the amount of communication and ability to get someone scheduled on short notice.

I just bought a house. During the home inspection, the inspector found a A/C issue - 3 registers (kitchen/dining room/living room) blew warmer air. So I called Lin Air on 7/2 to help to find the root cause and fix the issue. They came on 7/3 to check up the issue and found the root cause is wrong duct work and gave me the estimate for $360. They came back the second day in the morning fixed my issue. While they were there, the motor for the fan failed. They replaced the motor without additional charge! I am so happy with their job and price. :-) I strongly recommend this company.

The company was very responsive to my needs. When I spoke to the rep, she was able to fit me in the same day to come to my house and analyze the issue. When the gentleman came, he went to the attic, reset my system, and everything was fine. Only problem was that when he left, the system stopped working again after the temp reached the numbers listed on the thermostat. I called back and spoke to someone that night, who said they would send him again in the morning for no charge. When he came back, he noticed I had an electrical problem, and broke it down to me in layman's terms so I would know what to tell the electrician when he came. He also put a bypass on the switch that was bad so I can have a/c until the other guy came to fix the problem permanently. This was all I needed. Glad I looked on Angieslist to find a reputable company. I would recommend them to anyone. Great job!.

They were awesome. They were three weeks behind, but they rearranged the schedule for me and they did a wonderful job. They were professional and willing to work with us.

It is really, really nice to find someone who takes pride in their integrity and their work. It was a pleasure dealing with Lance. He was courteous and polite, both on the phone and in email.

The Lin Air representative came out to look at the work and gave us an estimate. We had considered having some additional work done (re-routing some ducts in the attic), but he felt that wasn't necessary. We made an appointment for the next week, and his workmen were on time and did the work with no problems.

It was an excelent experience. The repairman was very helpful and gave me a full explaination as to why the wiring was loose. He assured me that with that fix, my air conditioning would be in tip top shape and I should have no further problems. Also, I have two dogs who want nothing more that to be friends. He was very comfortable and patient with them.

It went very well. I am very pleased.

They said they would not service my business on Fremont st. because every time they were down there they "got a parking ticket". They refused my business because of where my business is located (on fremont street experience) What a joke!

We looked on Angie's List and they were rated number 1 and I had prior experience with them also. The information was glowing and wonderful so we hired them to do our air conditioning work. They were fabulous, they are the best, they are knowledgable, extremely fair, they are very professional, they come do the job, clean up and leave. I rate them A plus, plus, plus and their professionalism is above and beyond.

My home has two air conditioners, one for the upstairs and one for the downstairs area. The downstairs A/C unit stopped working, blowing only ambient air. After checking the obvious (thermostat, circuit breaker, and filters), it still would not work. I called Lin Air due to their excellent reputation on Angie's List. Since we have had a lot of hot weather recently, I did not expect to get a service technician out quickly. I was pleasantly surprised when I was scheduled for the next day. The service technician called before his arrival in the afternoon and estimated that he would be at the house in thirty minutes. He arrived on schedule and was well prepared for the repair. He quickly found the problem to be the starting capacitor for the compressor. He showed me the defective part, which was bulging. He gave me an estimate of $225.00 for the repair, but added that Angie's List members get a discount, which would bring the price down to $200.00. He did not have the correct replacement in his truck, and I expected to have to wait another day to get the A/C working again. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised when the technician went and picked up the part and returned. He quickly completed the repair and inspection, which included checking the pressure of both of my units.He also leveled one unit that was slightly tilted. He gave me the results of his inspection of the A/C units, noting that the fan bearings were getting worn. He advised continuing to use the units until the fan fails. I appreciated the fact that he did not try to upsell me on a fan replacement or Freon change. I expected to pay a separate charge for the capacitor replacement and the inspection/leveling, but the technician only charged the $200.00 he quoted for the capacitor replacement. All repairs were completed (including the trip to pick up a new part for my A/C) within a couple of hours.

The serviceman cleared the drain. Then he changed the position of the drain to reduce the problem he was called to solve. No charge for the change.

Very well. Only a few minutes to diagnose and repair the problem.

My air conditioning compressor would not turn on. Needless to say the dwelling was getting quite hot in the summer heat. I called Lin-Air because of their excellent rating on Angie?s List. The receptionist, ?Angela,? who answered the phone was very friendly. I found out later that Lin-Air is entirely family owned and operated, and that Angela is a member of the family. Brent Johnson (another family member) arrived at my home within a couple of hours. He was very personable and knowledgeable. He was able to get the compressor started, despite the fact that the unit is many years old and outdated. He also added Freon. Brent warned me that the unit is old and may fail at any time. He quoted me a price for installation of a new unit, in case I need one in the future. The price included a discount for members of Angie?s List. However, he advised me to continue using my present air conditioning unit because it may continue to function for several more years. The cost of the service was a very reasonable $169. Brent was very cordial and took his time to explain the intricacies of air conditioning systems. He even gave me his personal cell phone number in case I need to get a hold of him immediately if the unit failes again. I am very happy with Lin-Air?s service and would definitely use them again.

We needed to replace our very old AC/furnace unit, so had a few companies come out to give estimates. Brent from Lin Air came right on time, inspected the old unit and gave us a no-nonsense and thorough description of what our options were. They also had the best price for a quality brand unit &, by far, the best warranty. On the day of installation, the crew was, once again, right on time. It was clear that everyone involved was very experienced & that they really knew what they were doing. They had the new unit installed in no time and Brent inspected everything to make sure it was done correctly. A very smooth operation.

My quote was done by Brent, and was the one I followed up with to get my unit installed. After going to other companies for quotes I decided to go with Lin Air, because of the price and the product. The date and time was then set for installation. Brent came early that day to get more measurements and then the crew showed up on time. They got working on the removal process. The crane showed up and got old unit off the roof, the new unit showed up, was hooked up and put in place. New thermostat was installed, unit tested for heat and AC. Whole process took maybe three hours. Everyone I dealt with at this company was very professional and helpful. I dealt mostly with Brent throughout this process and found him knowledgable and easy to work with. I had other companies come in who tried to upsell me products I didn't need, with big service contracts. Brent told me what I needed and what would be correct for my house...........no hardsell or overkill for the size unit that I needed! Thanks Brent for the great service....and I will be calling when I need my unit tune ups!

We picked this company because the good reviews on Angie's List. The service was great. They showed up on time and did a fantastic job replacing both units. The price was exactly as quoted. We worked with Brent and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. We liked that this was a family business. We will definitely use them again on our kids house and refer them to any family members. In short, we would highly recommend this company for your A/C and heating needs.
