I know these companies are always busy during the summer, and when your ac goes out, you never know when it will be happening. They were able to be to my house within 2 days. Once the tech arrived, he found out it was something very minor. He could have sold me a new unit, and I would have said OK. I appreciated his honesty and asked if he could check the other ac units to make sure they were running ok. He did, and I will always us them now for their honesty.

My family and I moved to the Las Vegas area from the Midwest about one year ago. Once settled in and in a place where we started utilizing service providers in the area we realized two things: (1) There are providers willing to do just about any job imaginable and, (2) most of the ones we used weren't very good at what they did for a living. This was a foreign concept to us. We are the people that always wondered why people would pay for a service like Angie's List...until we realized we weren't 'in Kansas anymore' and a good referral was worth its weight in gold. While Lin AC & Heating isn't the first service provider we've located and used via Angie's List, they are by far the most impressive. To use a well-known movie quote, they had me at 'hello'. Their response to my phone inquiry was shockingly quick by any standard. Even more impressive was the fact that the tech communicated with me via smart phone (SMS Text) once contact was made and when I indicated that it was an appropriate way to reach me. Let me sum up the first visit with basic facts that will be music to any homeowner's ears: The tech's first visit to our home was scheduled for the same day (important because the heat was out to kids rooms). He arrived on time. Within 30 min he assessed the problem as a tripped sensor of some sort. He reset the sensor and checked other heating system elements. He suggested we change our air filters but did NOT feel that was the primary problem but this was a FIRST step. He stayed unitl the unit began producing heat but suggested we schedule a follow up contact in two days to see if the sensor remained un-tripped. Here is the kicker.....he charged us nothing for this visit. Even better? He texted me two days later to see if the unit was still working (it was). He asked that I contact him if that situation changed (it did). All in all, I would give this first experience with Lin something better than an A+ if I could. A few weeks later the heat went out again. Second verse, same as the first. A text to the Tech received a quick response and same day service. This time, however, he suggested that the sensor would need to be replaced...as a SECOND step. Having no sensor of that type in stock or available from his suppliers he placed the order immediately. (I am confident that this was all that could be done at that time.) A few days later he returned, replaced the sensor, waited for the heat to come back up and then took a fair amount of time explaining exactly what the problem was with our heater in relation to the sensor. He again suggested that we communicate in a few days to check the status of the unit. If I could give this second experience something better than an A+ I would. About 1 month later we received an invoice from Lin AC & Heating for an extremely reasonable amount. Shockingly reasonable, in fact. Their communication style, promptness, attention to detail, follow up and overall service quality was outstanding. You may not believe this from the review I have just written (my first for Angie's List) but I am stingy with my praise. Simply put - they deserve it. It is without reservation that I give Lin AC & Heating my highest recommendation.

I called them because my A/C unit was not blowing cool air. We had already replaced the capacitor and were still having issues. They came out once and replaced the fan. Still issues a couple days later. They came out and the tech went in the attic (felt bad, it was SO hot) and did something up there. I believe they cleaned the coils. Apparently, the tech used too much (whatever they use) and it was soon back to blowing warm air. They came back and fixed that situation and put a filter on it. It worked fine after that. They were courteous, on time, there when we called and made things right. I would recommend them to anyone.

We chose Lin Air from Angie,s list and what a great choice !!!!! Lin Air responded very quickly-diagnosed problem and a repair completed. The price quoted was price paid. Just a great experience from start to finish. I will use and recomend to all. THANKS LIN AIR & ANGIE,S LIST

They came out right away at the last moment. They found the problem and fixed it right away. Latter on I got a letter that they charged me $10 too much and sent a refund check. Remarkable honesty ! What is more special is that they only charged me for the time that they came out were very reasonable. I will call them again because of their honesty and integrity.

Excellent. They called before arriving, was prompt, clean and considerate. Evaluated the problem and had the part on his truck. Job completed in 30 - 45 minutes and was billed for the service.

After completing the purchase negotiation, Lance scheduled the install with me. He told me exactly what would happen, what time the installers would show and approximately what time they would finish. And to my surprise it all happened exactly as he had said, there were no surprises! His install team worked dilligently all day long and completed all the work on time and left everything in perfect working order, including leaving the house just as clean as when they got there. Lance himself showed up several times throughout the day to make sure all was going well. For a project that was this large form a homeowner perspective, I would highly recommend Lin Air! Called 5 contractors for estimates. Brent came out the same day I called. Explained in detail what was needed and the options. Provided spec sheets for the unit he quoted. No other contractor did this. Set up the install date, the crew arrived on time and left the place spotless. Besides installing both AC & Furnace they also fixed an issue on my water heater which was above and beyond what they were to do. The customer serive and work performed by Lin Air was excellent and I would highly recommend them. I have already told my family and friends to use them in the future. We had our entire HVAC system replaced. Brent and his crew were prompt and on schedule. The installation took less than a day. The crew also cleaned up after the work was done. Overall we are happy with the work that was done and highly recommend Lin-Air.

One week before we were scheduled to put our house up for sale, one of the air conditioning units stopped working. We had used Linn Air before and had a good experience so we called them again. They came out the next day and the unit was repaired before noon. They are very professional, on time, and charge reasonable rates. They do what needs t;o be done.

I had requested estimates from several companies, all quoting on the same equipment and same install. Linair (who I found on Angies List) showed up for estimate when scheduled, gave a price significantly less than the competitors, and did the complete install in less than one day. The removed the old equipment, did the install, cleaned up and it was as if they had never been there, except now I have a new efficient system that works. Thank you Linair.

We called them at 10 AM and they were able to come out the same day. He was prompt, found the problem and repaired it within and hour. We were very pleased with the work and we would use them again if ever needed

Brent was very professional and honest in the repairs that needed to be done. Brent took the time to explain what units needed repairs and specifically what repairs needed completion. I was impressed that he took the time to explain how my units worked together and was very honest of what to expect after the repairs. I was also given different options of how I wanted my units to be repaired. The costs, as well as pros and cons were given to me for each repair. I appreciated the honesty that this company has provided. I could have "shopped around" and found another company that might/might not have charged me less for the job - but I was impressed with the honesty and professionalism I was given. I still have some repairs to do (I neglected to follow up - even after they did repeatedly) and I will definitely be calling them again! This company has earned my loyalty!

I called on Tues.and spoke to a very nice woman ( shame on me I did not get her name) and I forgot to tell her about angies list on the phone but Dave still gave me the discount.I have used lin-air since we moved to this house ten years ago and seen my neighbor had them at her house,I asked her and she said they had been servicing her heat and air for quite some time.(This was pre Angie) The point to all this even though it was a simple service call.Sunday after the service call the unit in the garage started leaking from the pvc pipe on top.So after a night of panic I called on Monday at 9:00 am and before 10:30 Brent was here and fixed the problem...NO CHARGEIt was a clogged flow line? Thank you Lin -Air. He even got a piece of pipe from his truck and put it on to extend the piece that leaked so if it happened again,it would flow into the bucket and not cause water damage.Thank you Brent

Brent was on time and professional. He took a fair amount of time getting the history of the repairs that had already been completed on the unit. He also made a full diagnosis on what was now wrong with the unit, and advised me on my next steps to getting the unit replaced. I will definately use Lin-Air in the future.

We had a loud noise coming from our A/C vents. I called Lin Air and scheduled for them to come out. Due to a full schedule they weren't sure they could get a tech out the same day, but they had a tech in the area and he was able to stop by to check it out. The issue was the blower fan had come apart and was causing the loud noise and also causing the motor to overheat. Brent took the blower assembly out and took it back with him to the shop. They replaced the broken parts and he was here the next morning to replace the assembly. In spite of a very busy schedule for the day Brent went out of his way to get our unit working ASAP. Great customer service, no upselling, just an honest individual doing his job. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing A/C services!! I know that in the future they will be the company we call for any further issues.

Air conditioner was struggling to cool over the weekend. Called first thing Monday morning and Lin-Air was able to squeeze me in that morning despite a busy schedule. As promised, the technician called a half-hour before he arrived. He was friendly, professional and competently resolved the issue. He added refrigerant to the system and recommended we evaluate the system's performance over the next several weeks to ensure there isn't an additional leak in the system. Very pleased with the service.

We are enclosing a open covered patio and Lin-Air provided the HVAC mini split system for the 12 x 19 room. They were extremely professional and responsive. Came out next day after initial contact, reviewed our plans, offered several options that saved us a lot of time, effort and money. Quote was in middle of range with all the options they suggested. Did roughed in before insulation and wall board. After we finished the walls they came and installed the system within 3 hours and right on time. They also were very careful to make sure everything was done correctly and cleaned up after themsleves. I would use them again!!

Service tech checked unit and found it to be worn out. Unit was over 15 yrs. Gave estimate of new unit. Replaced unit on Saturday with no extra fees. Very professional. Would highly recommend. Will be using for future ac/heater work. The BEST
