Our 16 year old air conditioner stopped working; I called Lin-Air, and a live person answered the phone at 9:00 on Saturday night! I explained the problem, and she said the person on call that evening would call me back. He called back within about 10 minutes. He said they were heavily booked on Sunday; so I said having someone come out on Monday would be fine. I told them I'd be at work, and they said they would call me at work about 30 minutes prior to their arrival so I could come home and meet them. We met at our home, and they tested the system and told me what I suspected -- that replacing it was necessary. They gave us estimates for a 13, 14, and 16 SEER system. I also asked them to include in the estimate an Aprilaire whole-home air cleaner, which I had read about on their website. We decided on the 14 SEER system, and Lin-Air called me that afternoon to schedule the installation. They fit us in on Wednesday, saying they always try to fit in replacements for people without air conditioning as quickly as possible. They arrived right on time on Wednesday and started work quickly. There were five or six people doing the work -- some in the attic and some outside. They put down a tarp to protect the carpeting and vacuumed their work area before they left for the day. It took them less than five hours to do all the work, which included adjusting the duct work so that the master bedroom would get more air. I had asked about this when they gave me the estimate on Monday because the master bedroom was always much hotter than the rest of the house. They were efficient and professional. I was very impressed. Now the best news: We have a much more comfortable house and a lower electric bill. We got the new system just a week before record heat his Las Vegas. Last year, our old system had a hard time keeping up with super high temperatures, but the new system keeps the house luxuriously cool no matter how hot it gets outside. And the master bedroom is just as cool as the rest of the house. Also, the Aprilair has greatly reduced the amount of dust in the house. Just as an experiment, I haven't dusted the dining room table since the new system was installed over a month ago. There is less dust on it than there used to be after a week, and the air in the house just seems fresher and cleaner. And our first electric bill since the system was installed showed our usage (even after I adjusted it to account for the fact that we had no A/C for four days) had dropped by over 25% from this time last year! In short, I was very impressed by Lin-Air -- they answered their phone on Saturday night, called me every time they said they would, fit us in as quickly as possible, showed up on time, worked efficiently, and installed a fabulous system.

They were very reliable and on time. I thought that I was going to have to replace it and they told me to wait. They were really professional. I would use them again.

The best! I used Lin-Air before about 2 years ago, and again this time. Quick, professional, and fairly-priced. Needed a letter for the buyer that the a/c unit has been repaired, and Lin-Air provided that for no charge. Customer service is incomparable. One of the people who answer the phone at Lin-Air is Camille, and, man, she is good! Keep her, as she is an asset! Call around other a/c companies and you'll find most people who answer the phone sound like they smoke 2 packs of cigarettes and dropped out of high school. In contrast, Camille is a professional! She calls you back! Incidentally, I'm not affiliated with Lin-Air or the owner or anyone that works for them. I'm just a happy customer impressed with their service.

I called out two more contractors for quotes the next one out said I had a said that I had a small leak and 350 to repair the third confirmed that diagnosis. Had system fixed

Air conditioner is very old, and seems to be laboring during the hottest days. Called Lin-Air, scheduled an appointment for them to inspect the unit to see if there is anything wrong. On the day of the appointment, Lin-Air called to tell me that they would arrive in about 20 minutes. They arrived about 45 minutes later, well withing the 9:00-12:00 time frame they had promised. They inspected the unit, and told me everything they could find out from an inspection. They said the unit was working OK, for an older unit, and that nothing was broken and nothing needed to be replaced. I used an Angie's List coupon, and the entire service call was only $65. They were very professional and I would use them again.

Dave showed up on time, his truck and appearance were professional. He started to work immediately to resolve the issues with my A/C. He gave me an estimate and he stuck to his pricing with no additional costs. That in itself was refreshing, someone telling you what they are going to do and then doing it. Reasonable price and friendly service. I do recommend them, they are honest.

Terrific. I was so grateful after being stood up by another contractor with whom I had a good experience with in the past. The weather was extremely hot and they were very busy, so it took longer to get an appointment that usual, but I certainly cannot hold that against them. They were very professional and finished the repairs in short order. Their prices are very competitive. Very happy and would certainly hire them again.

Halfway through the summer now and so far so good.

He explained that our unit was older and required more amps, and that the maximum was 19 on a 20 amp breaker, because the unit is older it could be tripping a breaker that is barely able to handle it. He said he could install a newer R410 over our outdated R22, but we really should have and electrician look at the breaker first. I appreciated that he took the time to explain it to me, and did not charge me for his visit.

Very prompt return of my call and then on-site to provide a detailed quote. We agreed to the pricing and booked the day for install. On the day of install 4 trucks with crews showed up to do the work. After laying down sheets and protection throughout, they gutted and removed all the old equipment from outside and the attic in just over an hour.The install of the new equipment was done in just over two hours. The testing and cleanup was done in half an hour. A total of 3 1/2 hrs start to finish and when they drove off other than the fact I had cool air blowing, I would never have known they were there. Basically a fantastic experience from start to finish. Very highly recommended!!

They were just so professional and so good, they were just great. They did the whole thing for both upstairs and downstairs.

They were very responsive, professional and competent. He came one day with thermostats that did not fit and returned the next day at the appointed time with correct ones and installation.

Lin-Air was great in fitting us in to their extremely busy schedule when our A/C unit died. They were courteous, gave us options and did the install promptly.

The work and price was good. We did have a little problem with being on time. I understand getting tied up on another job, but I do think a phone call to keep us informed would have been appreciated. Once the service man arrived he did find the problem and repaired the unit. I would use them again, other then the tardiness on appointments they did a good job.

Our A/C is working great now. The variable stage blower and 2 stage compresser are finally co-ordinating the way the system was designed. The system was not installed by Lin-Air but they responded to our call promptly and, as previously stated, now have our A/C working like new.

Lance was prompt, professional, and very kind to my young daughter and barking dog. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within a few hours. I feel that they were knowledgable, fair, and professional. Thank you.

Dave was very professional and diagnosed the problem, explained it to me, and fixed the issue with our heat. This was our first experience with Lin Air and we were pleased with the work.

When our original A/C unit, one of two for our home, decided to die a natural death after 13 years of service, we contacted 4 A/C companies to come out and diagnose the problem. We scheduled appointments with 3 of the companies to come to our home, and give us a presentation on what they could do for us, including time frame, cost, warranty, and after sale service. We could go on for paragraphs about what we didn't like about the others, but instead will simply focus on our experience with the company that we chose, which was Lin-Air. We dealt with Brent, one of the family who owns and operates Lin-Air, and could not be happier with his professionalism, honesty, attitude, and up front style, with nothing left to question about the scope of the work they were to provide. Since we had the ability to allow our schedule to fit into theirs, we made an appointment for the work to be done about 1 week in advance, with the installation to be completed in one day or less. The appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM and they told us that they would be on site no later than 9:30 AM but no sooner than 9:00 AM on the day the work was scheduled to be performed. The crew arrived at 9:10 AM, with Brent arriving at 9:15 AM to get the job started. What a pleasure to deal with someone that is on schedule and on time!! This was such a great crew, who knew exactly what they were doing, and finished the complete R & R in less than 3 hours, were pleasant, clean, did not make a mess while they were working, cleaned up completely after the installation, and you'd never know that anyone had been here. Brent came back before the job was complete, provided all the paperwork for the billing, checked the work that was done, gave us all the warranty paperwork, and explained how to register our new HVAC online that would then provide an extended warranty on the products installed. We would recommend Lin-Air to anyone needing the services that they provide, and will use them in the future should the need arise.

Nothing much to tell. They were perfect from start to finish!

I noticed some problems that I knew from past experience were related to the air conditioner. I couldn't get in touch with company that had worked on the problem in the past. So I joined Angie's List and found Lin Air Services. Less then two hours after my initial call, someone came by to give me an estimate. No pressure, no scare tactics, just honest information. I decided to go with Lin and replace the air conditioner. They scheduled the work within a couple of days and got the work done in a very professional manner. They did a great job of cleaning up when they were done. I was extremely pleased with the entire experience.

We were very satisfied with Lin's service, pricing and how they responded to our call. In Las Vegas A/C is so important and, unfortunately, clearly some companies take full advantage of this by over charging and ripping off their customers. Lin Air Service did not do this. The charge was fair for the service provided. Very happy with our experience and would recommend Lin Air Service to others.

As far as I know, they did what they are supposed to do for such service calls.

It went great, the company called me to let me know the service man was on his way to make sure I was at home. When he arrived (Dave) very professional, introduced himself, proceeded to check out my a/c unit. He explained everything to me in detail, showing me what was wrong, why the heat side was not turning on and making sure my unit was OK for summer. He showed me the part I needed for the heat side of the unit, giving me the price of the part and labor involved to complete the job. Just as I was told $65.00 for the tune-up, no hidden costs or trying to pressure me into buying something. He explained to me I could wait until winter to change out the heat switch for I really don't need it right now. I was very pleased with the service, the professionalism he showed. I also want to mention when I called the company to set the appointment I spoke with Camille, very polite on the phone understanding to what I was talking about and made everything go very easy. I want to thank both of them for making this very simple to taking care of my problem. Hard to trust people in this town as we know, but, Lin Air is above an A, I would recommend this be your first phone call if you don't want to be scammed. GREAT WORK
