Larkin Plumbing

I could not possibly be more impressed than this. He knew what had to be done and he knew how to handle it. I think he is the best plumber that I have ever seen. It was a lengthy process and he is still in the process of fixing it. His prices are a little high but he did a good job.

The main water shutoff handle for the house would not shut off, leaving us with no water. I called and they were out within an hour to fix the problem. The repairman was very nice and very professional. He replaced it with a much better shutoff valve and was done in about an hour. We have called Larkin on other various plumbing jobs and have always been extremely pleased with the professionalism and quality of their work. Even though they charge by the hour, they never poke around just to run up the charges. Work is always done in a timely manner, and is always done right no matter which repairman they send to do it. I would not call anyone else for my plumbing needs.

WAY WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Showed up 3 hours late, did the work, had three screaming phone calls with his ex-wife while in the house. Work is done, no complaints about that. BUT the bill was $195, $147 of which was just to show up. This is their minimum--$139.50 minimum plus a $6.95 "trip charge" on top of that (probably instituted when gas prices went up??). I have always known that plumbers could be expensive, but this is a completely ridiculous price for $48 for materials and labor!

The water heater was replaced, but I did call the company as I thought that a pan under the water heater should be included as part of the replacement. To their credit, Larkin sent over two employees to lift the water heater and place a pan under it. For that, they did NOT charge me labor, only the cost of the pan.

When I called because my water heater was gushing water and I needed a new water heater, they came right away. The quality of the work was excellent, but I think they are a little expensive. A few days later I had them replace my garbage disposal and fix two leaking toilets. I told them that one of the toilet was not always able to flush solid waste, they did something to allow the tank to fill up with more water. They answered all my questions and made suggestions regarding buying a new toilet that will fill with more water and then call them to have it installed.

The quote I was given by them, over the phone, for removal and installation of a 50 gallon hot water heater was $1,800-$1,900. In comparison to other estimates, even from places like Home Depot and Lowe's, this was shockingly pricey. Also, I contacted them on a Saturday, left a message and emailed as well. It states on their website they offer services 7 days a week, and after-hours, but they didn't return any contact with me until late Monday morning. I was rather surprised, and disappointed, that they never got hold of me, and their estimate was so outrageous... as a co-worker recommended them to me, and now I think he feels like he was overcharged for the services he received as well. (His recommendation gave them glowing reviews, but for a grand more than the next highest estimate, that's ridiculous.) I will say after they failed to contact me at all for two days, they have called me yesterday (Tuesday), twice, to see if I would like to have them come out or not. Guess they were trying to make up for lost time. I did find another company that specializes in only Water Heaters and the service and price they provided was better than I ever expected. Glad I did NOT go with Larkin for this job.

A Larkin man came out saw the water outside from an underground leak and said it was too hard to figure out where it was coming from. He said they could re-lay a pipe instead of finding leaking or anything, but that it would cost us $3000 dollars just to lay one pipe and that they would have to do it another day. For this he took a little under 5 minutes looking at it, but charged us for one hour of labor, even though he wasn't willing to do any work that day.

The plumber was extremely professional and courteous. He had to briefly turn off all the water to the house when he first began work, but he gave us ample warning beforehand and only had it off for a few minutes. He was here for about 1-1/2 hours and left the bathroom immaculate.

They are available 24/7 and do not charge overtime. They are punctual, and knowledgeable, and do the work without wasting time. They may be somewhat more expensive than other plumbers but the quality of service is very much worth it.

They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them to my friends and family. They did have to come back do touch ups to some of the caulking due to the sink be so heavy; it pulled in a few spots but it was nothing major.

We called when our water heater went out late at night and was told that a plumber would get back with us in a few minutes. We waited for more than an hour and they never called. We called them and was told they were still waiting for someone to pick up the page. We decided to go with another company. It was already late at night and getting later. Hopefully this isn't how they treat most customers.

I was out of town so had to call Larkin to repair a rusted out line. Larkin does reasonable work, I have had to use their services in the past but their costs are very high. They charged $30 dollars for the parts, and $130 for the service. Too high for a simple job. I would like to find an alternate company.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company did do a good job on the work that they did. I really don't have anything bad to say about that. The new piping is what we needed and they took care of it in a timely fashion. I feel that they are very pricey and they cost more than anyone in this area. If it would have been a more reasonable price, I would have given them a rave review. I don't think I would use them again because of that.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company was very efficient with their work, and made sure they did the job right. We haven't had any problems with the new heater, and they didn't try to talk me into a system we didn t need. They did the job quickly, and finished the same day. They cleaned their mess up and got rid of the old system when they were done.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company responded very quickly to our call. He came right away and fixed the leaks. He did great work and was able to fix the problem on the first trip. He did a good job explaining the problems and I have not had any problems since the repair. I was very pleased with his work.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company did good work at a decent price as far as plumbing goes her in Las Vegas. When I used them it was fairly convenient to get them out here, and any questions I asked was answered accordingly. The hot water heater was a good quality unit and right for our needs, and the softener had worked just fine since they recharged it. I was happy with the service they provided me. I do not want to disclose the price.

I have used Larkin for many years and I can honestly say that I have always been satisfied. No matter what type of job it may have been, it was always properly handled. Whenever the workers come out, they are always very well prepared and always on schedule. This particular job was very easy for them and they finished it in no time at all. I am very satisfied that everything is working properly now. I would without a doubt hire Larkin again in a heartbeat.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company came right over after I called them. We were experiencing a mystery spray somewhere in our pipes and we were not sure where. They didn't take long to inspect our pipes and told us what we had already suspected but it is always nice to get a true professional opinion.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company took the time to inspect all of our plumbing and was very nice. They explained what the problems were and got right to work. They were very quick and efficient at what they did. He really knew what he was doing and I had a very good experience with them. He showed me the old parts that he removed and cleaned up well when they were done.

I am very pleased with the excellent service I received from Larkin Plumbing a few months ago when I called on the thanksgiving weekend. The plumber was here within the hour and replaced the valve to stop the leaking. I had used this company in the past; they fixed a leaky toilet in the master bathroom and again they provided me with excellent customer service at a reasonable price.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company did all the plumbing upon recommendation by the manager of the apartment house that I bought. They charged outrageous prices for their work. When our water pipe broke, Larkin charged us $8,000 to fix it, and when another pipe broke a different company only charged us only $800.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company did not show up to do their job in a timely manner, and that is one of my pet peeves. They actually did a good job installing the toilets and we were happy with the job they did. I gave them B's because of not showing up on time to do their job.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company did a good job clearly explaining the problem to us. We felt they were trustworthy as we haven't had any problems since they fixed the problem. We trust them and have used them for over thirty years.

Larkin Plumbing and Heating Company did the job right the first time. In this day and age, can be unusual to find. They have an excellent reputation and guarantee their work. We have been using them for over thirty years and they have never let us down. They may charge a little more than most, but we feel they are worth it. I don't recall how much they charged to do this work.

Larkin Plumbing did a great job of running a lot of new piping throughout our house. The plumber who came out to do the work was professional, knowledgeable and worked for eight hours getting things done we wanted done. First, we had a plastic pan put under the hot water heater to collect any drips. This house is old, it needed a lot of new piping throughout the entire house and the plumber took a full day to complete the installation of new pipes where necessary.
