very difficult drain to unplug-I was afraid he would have to go into the wall however he was able to get it unplugged thus saving me a couple of thousand dollars!! I would recommend them to anyone!!

They did a lot of work for me. I had no complaints. They did good work and are professional.

They came out on time and were very informative. I would recommend to ask all questions beforehand or while they are working, because they do charge by the hour.

They've cleaned our drain twice and on both occasions it's become clogged again within two months. They did a good job of unclogging the drain, but the price was high and they didn't permanently fix the problem. We are now looking for a new plumber.

Called office. Arrived within the hour (Friday evening). Told him problem. Showed me what was causing it (little silicone pellets in the toilet tank from the water softner). Showed how they clogged up the faucets. By passed water softner. Cleared all the aerators on the faucets. Drained the water system and water heater. Problems solved. Took less than an hour.

My wife advised me that no cold water was available from our washing machine. We called an appliance repair company and they sent a tech. He advised us that the machine was operating normally but that there was no cold water coming into the machine. I called Larkin plumbing and although we were not scheduled, a technician, Keith, arrived that night. He determined that the cold water facet was damaged and that the hot water facet would fail soon; both due to age and hard water in Las Vegas. As it was late, he could not provide new faucets but advised he would return the next day and effect repairs. Keith returned the next morning and replaced both faucets, allowing me to view the damage to the old ones, and also replaced the two water feed hoses with stainless steel reinforced hoses. He tested the system which worked as expected. Keith was very professional, friendly and provided the why's of the damage as well as his intended repairs. A very good experience.

Walked outside and found water pouring from connection to my cartridge pool filter. Found Larkin Plumbing in the Yellow Pages and called them. Someone came within a couple hours and had a look. He determined that a new connection needed to be fabricated, so he went out to his truck to begin building the connection. Since the equipment is more or less fixed in place, he had to replicate the existing connector. Once it was built, we had to sit around for about half an hour waiting for the glue to dry so it could be pressure tested. After everything checked out, he primed and painted the PVC, explaining that the plumbing code required it. I wasn't thrilled about having to pay for an extra 30 minutes of waiting for the glue to dry, but I think the plumber wasn't thrilled either, as he was bored out of his mind for those 30 minutes too. Anyway, they responded promptly, did the job correctly the first time, and charged a fair price, so I was very happy with the work they performed.

The job that they did for me only lasted about a month and then the problem came back.

Removing the garbage disposal was done in timely manner. Repairing the faucet was a war. The old faucet handle had to be drilled and then replaced as the old one could not be salvaged. It was a Moen installed by Larkin on 10/25/07. I made this information known to Larkin on the original and subsequent phone conversations prior to the service call. Our complaint is that the repairman knew the make and model of the faucet that Larkin sold and installed in October 2007 and failed to bring the necessary repair parts with him thereby necessitating a charge of one hour ($139.50) to go back to the shop and get the needed repair parts to complete the job. I fail to understand why he did not put the most probable necessary parts on the truck before he left the shop. We had to pay for his lack of forsight. On December 19, 2011, I wrote to Larkin explaining our displeasure and asking for a response. To date no reply.

They did a great job. He was very quick. I hadn't used them before. I'd definitely use them again.

I discovered water under my kitchen sink after dinner on 8/8 and after researching I knew that the gasket on the garbage disposal was carotid again. I had replaced it a year ago. I decided to replace the unit after I took the connection off and saw the amount of carotid in the disposal. The next morning I went to one of my neighbors who had recommended Larkin if I ever needed a plumber and got their telephone number.. I contacted Larkin and asked the cost to have it replaced and then asked how soon could it be done. They said they could have some to my home in about 30 minutes. Yahoo! Kurt called me when he was on his way and told me he would arrive in about 20 minutes. He did. He removed and replaced old disposal, checked the new one for any leeks and was very neat. He took all the old parts with him so I did not have to dispose of them. The invoice was for the amount I was quoted except for a and quot;pigtailand quot; that I was not told about ($13.44).

Our kitchen sink was clogged and when I used a plugger, water squirted out under the sink. Tom came out within 2 hours after I called on a Saturday. We bought our home resale and didn't realize that the air gap was under the sink (supposed to be on top of the counter). I thought the dishwasher drained directly into the the disposal and didn't even know there was an air gap under the sink. Tom said the water was flowing out the air gap when I used the plunger. He offered to move the air gap above the counter at no extra charge since a hole was already drilled in our granite. He cleared the sink stoppage and cleaned the work area. I thought the charge was a little high, but not bad for coming so quickly on a Saturday (they do not charge extra for weekends). I've used Larkin in the past and it cost me over $500 for a leaky water softener. Maybe they have lowered their prices since then, but I've continued to use them since I've been pleased with their knowledge, work and professionalism. Would definitely use them again.

They were very professional and prompt. They seemed to be a little expensive but you have to pay through the nose for labor for plumbers. It was one of those emergency things where they had us over the barrel. We didn't have time to shop for somebody and we were stuck. We would consider using them again but I would shop around. I wouldn't discount them because they did a good job and they were nice.

I never use a plumber before, didn't know how they charge, thought by job. So I called for the price just for the kichen drain cleaning. They said the drain cleaning is $139.50 no time limit. So I made an appiontment with them. Dan showed up. I showed him the drain location. And told him that we had put a snake in before didn't work. He said he will do his best. He told me turn on the hot water will help the cleaning. After 20mins, he said his done. I said that was fast, thought $139.50 for 20mins is too much money. I think he can read my mind, wanted to see the garbage disposale. I told him it need to be replace, got a new one in the house maybe my husband can change it. He said he will do it for me. I asked how much will be. He said its charge by hour, he still have time to change it for me. He took more than 40mins(maybe 45mins) to finish. I like his honesty, and made the time counts (he can walk away after the drain cleaning, but he didn't). I recomemnd you hire him if you need help.

I felt that they were honest. He was efficient and polite, I liked the whole experience. I was pleasantly surprised by their price, I thought it would be a lot more. I was very fortunate that I found them accidentally.

I have been using them for several years and sometimes they send out excellent plumbers and sometimes they send out someone who is not even trained. The gentleman who came out the last time was very good. He went above and beyond and tried to remedy the situation. He fixed a small leak from my outside faucet on the back porch without charging me anything extra. They respond anytime you want them and come when you ask them to come. They are good but my only complaint is that they sometimes send people who are not really all that knowledgeable and they try to take shortcuts.

I got a 10% senior discount which was helpful. He was very good and he arrived when he was supposed to. There were several ways that he could have fixed the problem but he chose the cheapest one; I appreciated that. I probably could have found someone cheaper but I didn’t want to wait around. I have their number so I can use them again in the future.

I liked that they were prompt. I am a very loyal customer. I have used them for over 30 years. I have only had one problem with any service they've ever done. Their prices are higher than most.

I thought that was a nominal price. I have always been able to get someone to come out right away.

They came out the same day I called! I spoke with a very upbeat guy that made me feel less stressed about the cost. Jimmy, came out and had to clean out the main line. About 60 feet in he got it. He explained every thing to me. I am very pleased with the service. :-D

I've used Larkin for many years, although I haven't had need for them in the last few years. The experience that prompts me to write this review was several years ago when several drains in my house backed up into the house. They came out and the technician spent about 3 hours looking for the overflow drain in the front yard, which he never did find because I'm sure a landscaper has covered it up. He then spent another hour, plus, cleaning out the drains and correcting the problem from inside the house (as I was watching the $$$$ roll up in my head). When he corrected the problem and I asked him how much I owed him, he said $95.00, because that's what we charge for cleaning out a drain (at the time). I argued with him and he even called the office and they confirmed that the charge would be $95.00, because that's what they charge for clearing drains. That's integrity and honesty. I'll never use anyone else.

I have been using Larkin for over twenty years and I joke with them that I own an interest in the company. They were prompt and unplugged the kitchen sink and also did a snaking of the the two bathrooms without charging me an more. My experiences with Larkin over the years has been more than excellent. I never have to call them back to re-fix something; they do it right the first time!

They stay until the problem is fixed with no excuses that they have to go to another appointment. They get an A+ from me.

They were quite good. They came when they said they would and I was happy with their services. They called ahead of time as I had requested and I ended up not having to wait for them or have them wait for me. They did call to say they were being delayed and I was given the opportunity to reschedule if I wanted to.

They always do good work and not only are they on time, they are often early. They send people who are very helpful, they are good people. I would rate them highly in every category.
