He came out, but his estimate was very high. He was probably here for an hour and a half going over the front yard and I was okay with him and he explained everything to me. He was an excellent representative of his company in explaining what he was going to do and what he had to do. He even showed me that the watering system that I had down had been exposed and was cracked. If we rebuilt it again they would cause problems and we would have to rake up all the rock and it would be half-done. He said it would have to be replaced. He pointed it out to me and I really appreciated that. We talked about different plants and he was very knowledgeable, an excellent person, and an excellent representative. We didn't choose him because his estimate came in so high. When I told him that I couldn't afford it, he took about $3000 off on the estimate, but it was still quite high. He came with a $7000 estimate and the other guys were going to do it for $3000. He was outstanding though. If it hadn't been for the price, I would have picked this guy. He came with a $7000 estimate and he brought it down to $4800. He checked all my plants and the trees and he was very professional. My wife found him in the phone book. He was on time for when he made his appointment. I was very impressed with him. He spelled everything right out in the estimate exactly what each thing would be. He even put down the 18-20tonnes rubble and the pebble red rock, the dump fees for collection of dirt and delivery fees for the rock and up to 3 days labor in his estimate. He did discount me quite a bit. He came and talked to my wife and explained to us about the different colored rocks and the different sized rocks. He was very knowledgeable about rocks.
