Laguna Pool and Spa has to be the worst pool building company in Las Vegas! Save yourself the headache and frustration...Do Not Use This Company to build any type of pool/landscaping. Their mission statement in my opinion is not shown in their workmanship or customer service. I want to make this perfectly clear; I DID NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY for any type of work! The headache this company has caused is very disturbing. The sad part is that their customer service does not exist. Now I understand how other concerned individuals state that one star shouldn't even be an option for a review, there should be Negative Ratings to make things more impactful on how irresponsible and unprofessional companies are. This company has used my driveway as their workstation, their trash area, and loading/unloading of materials. I have contacted their company and the secretary has tried to resolve what she can in her power, but I can tell that her word does not hold any weight. The overseeing supervisor to this project is very incompetent. The same protocol answers, "yes, I'm sorry, I'll let my guys know" "It wont happen again" and offers zero compensation or solution to rectify the situation. His text responses are very condescending. The pictures I will be posting is just a few of the issues I have faced with Laguna Pool and Spa. Again, I want to make this perfectly clear.....I DID NOT sign a contract with this company to do any work!! There was an incident where I found an unopened condom on my driveway, disclaimer: I do not have this picture because I was with my son at the time I found it and did not feel the need to discuss what that item was to a 10 yr old, I had to discreetly grab and dispose of it before he saw it. If the following pictures don’t paint a picture of how unprofessional Laguna Pool and Spa company is, then good luck hiring them. Again the view/angle of my pictures is on my property. The work being done should have been to the house on the left of the camera view. I posted a before picture of our street recently repaved less than a year ago and the aftermath of what Laguna Pool and Spa has ruined. STAY AWAY FROM: Laguna Pool and Spa

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. We are struggling with a poor defective work plaster. We initially tried to have Laguna pool fix the issues but they were non responsive, they just put the blame on their clients to avoid fixing their unprofessional quality, organization and work.. There are so many other reputable companies in town that will treat you properly from start to finish. Here are some pictures of Laguna work in las vegas.

!!!BUYER BEWARE!!! We paid $75,000 for our pool and landscaping and were never treated so unprofessionally. The owner (Dewey) was a complete you know what!!! We purchased our second pool from this company, thought we would try someone new, big mistake!! The day we signed the contract we let Laguna know that our second installment payment "only" would be 12 days late. They didn't act like it was a big deal and we had to wait 10 of the 12 days for our plaster to dry anyways. Well, they decided they would treat us badly from that point forward and purposely delayed our project for over a month. The owner would only send crews out for 1-2 hours per week to work and all they did was fiddle around. We got different information from everyone in the office. The dates the owner promised were never upheld. Not until we had a deadline for something else did they rush what they were doing to get done in a day, which resulted in poor workmanship. They forgot to order the accent tile for our pool and then we came home to a wrong color tile installed! They didn't have the tile # listed on our paperwork but it was written "brown cubic tile", we got black! We are so devastated by this as the black doesn't match the main tile and sticks out like a sore thumb! The owner told us if we wanted it fixed we would have to pay for it. We were told that our pool would be complete the first to second week of June and it wasn't done until the 3rd of July. The ladies at the front desk never returned phone calls or emails. The owner was the rudest and most disrespectful person we have ever dealt with and he doesn't care how he treats his customers. When we asked the crew why they were never coming out to do more work they told us another crew quit and they were being asked to work on the owner and sales guys pools instead. We had our backyard landscaped by them as well. They didn't order enough rock for our yard so one entire side was left with just dirt. They told us if we wanted more rock we would have to pay for it! After we had paid them in full they refused to come out and fix any of the punchlist items after numerous phone calls. There were many spots of cool deck not painted and chips on the side of the coping. They left big piles of debris in our side yard, didn't provide us with a flapper/weir for our pool so we had to go out and purchase one ourselves, they put a big hole in our back yard wall with the backhoe, scratched up the pavers on our driveway and the pebble company left big gouges in the street in front of the driveway. I would never recommend this company to anyone, mainly because of the owner Dewey's attitude and unprofessionalism.

I have just given up trying to get satisfaction out of this company. Their incompetence knows no boundaries. I contracted with them to (among other things) build an outdoor BBQ peninsula and to construct and install what was described as a "Brimming Urn". First the BBQ. Despite being provided with the specifications of our current stucco, they managed to twice use the wrong color. In the end - and armed with the same information as they were provided - I was forced to obtain the paint myself and will be contracting another company to repaint the stucco. A "close match" seems to be satisfactory in their eyes. Secondly the brimming urn. Since it was installed, it has never fully 'brimmed', leaving the ugly stains of Vegas Valley water on its sides. The pump appears to underpowered and the reason why not enough water is being moved to the brim to allow for complete overflow on all sides. I reported this to their "Customer Service Department" (which happens to be the receptionist and phone answerer) and was told that this was the "standard" pump. Inadequate, yes - but okay in their book. The owner, Dewey (Duane) Forte does not have a clue when it comes to customer satisfaction, preferring to argue, insult and minimize problems rather than listen and constructively act to remediate them. Here are some examples of his actual email responses - complete with the spelling and grammatical mistakes that permeate his writing. "I will be there wed morning to go over your minimal concerns" "I would be happy to find a larger pump if you feel this will satify your need to just stop complaining!" "absolutely not, no refund will be given for a feature that is adequate! that monstosity was the urn you approved! "Unfortunately , you won't seem ever to be satisfied and it sounds like your an expert on everything" Laguna Pool and Spa is by far the worst example of (a lack of) customer service that I have ever encountered. I imagine that this negative review will be met with another example of argumentative incompetence - I expect nothing less from Mr. Forte. CAVEAT EMPTOR!

We thought we would beat the rush by signing with them in early March. We were completely wrong. I guess our budget wasn't big enough. COMPLETE NIGHTMARE! Over promised and under delivered. From the initial meeting with the salesman only giving us the 2D designs and having to request 3D, to the punchlist crew lounging in our pool and questionably drunk. I will never recommend this company. It seem as though if your budget is 6 figures you will get the customer service and timeline promised in their contract. Less than 6 figures...good luck. Here's a highlight list: Starting 1 week late, not showing for 3 separate full weeks during the entire process, not returning calls, modifying plans without owner knowledge, NEVER apologizing for mistakes, dirt and scrap pile in front of the home for 70% of the build, (neighbors and HOA love this) installing wrong color tile, TWICE, getting bumped from the schedule several times, fit and finish are sub par comparable to a beginner "do it yourselfer", lines are not 90 degrees, all angles outside of the pool seem "eyed up" producing obtuse angles and corners.... At every turn there was a problem. We became our own site foreman for the majority of the time and had to proactively make calls and nearly run our own schedule. Don't expect any return calls from the office. Get the site supervisor and Deweys cell phone number (not that they will pick up, but calling the office does nothing). Towards the end, the problems had been so many up to that point, we actually had to accept the rest of the mistakes to just get them off of our property. THE ENTIRE BUILD WAS QUOTED AS AN 8 WEEK PROJECT AND ACTUALLY TOOK 15!!!. All we had done to the backyard was a pool / spa and pavers. No patio cover, no landscaping, no fancy waterfall, no creative rock work or slides, nothing more than a pool and decking. They will give you every excuse in the book as to why it is taking so long (paperwork, inspectors, hit caliche on another job.....) but if you ask their laborers they will give you the truth (bigger jobs requiring more time and people on that job, not enough employees for all the jobs, broken truck / bobcat, lack of material, working 6 days a week on the owners home.....) For anyone with a budget of 100k or more, you might not have all of these problems, so if you want to use them, either have a large budget or prepared to be extremely disappointed, frustrated, mad and drained of energy. This company does not care about you if you don't have the money to make it worth their while.

Excellent service and product.

They had a willingness to work with me. They explained each phase. They payment plan per phase was fair. They had no problems making adjustments. They work with their customers according to their wishes. They were busy in the area with other pools they were building, so sometimes they couldn't respond quickly.
