Kitchen Tune Up

I wanted to make my kitchen as ADA as possible, as I am 75 years old. Paul Climer came to my home, and listened to my concerns, answered all my questions, then gave me feed-back as to what we should accomplish. We then made our decisions as to color, style, on surfaces. They installed all new full-pull out shelves w/soft close in areas that used to be stationary, replacing some shelves behind doors with pull-outs. Pantry was equipped with all pull-out shelves, eliminating the need for spice racks, etc. ALL exterior surfaces were re-faced, and my current hardware was used, as it was fairly new. Paul and his team (John, etc.) made sure each day that the room was completely vacuumed & cleaned before leaving. We also installed LED lighting above the cabinets (and it comes with a remote!) that allows you to brighten or dim the lights. It took about 2 1/2 days for the install, and I would use their services again in a heartbeat, if I ever needed another kitchen tune-up! GREAT JOB, GUYS!!!

This was the perfect answer for our cabinets. We wanted a cost-effective way to make them look new again without the hassle and expense of stripping the old finish off and starting over. Paul and Cesar made a great team, and got the work done in 2 days with absolute minimal hassle--you don't even have to empty your cabinets! We got our "new" cabinets and couldn't be happier.

We considered cabinet replacement and then learned of Kitchen Tune-up. We selected the tune-up service and are totally satisfied with the results, the pricing, and the precision with which our project was implemented. We have recommended this service to others and will continue to do so. Mr. Climer gave us specific guidance on what the tune-up could achieve in improvement and appearance. Results are totally satisfying and totally consistent with his projections. At the first meeting, Mr. Climer addressed most questions before they were asked, including those regarding contractor credentials, license and insurance. And how good it is to have schedules for meetings and service met virtually to the minute and routinely backed up by confirming calls. At first meeting, a "presentation" binder immediately introduced his contractor documentation and customer responses and evaluations. Our initial meeting concluded with a formal, printed quote--a quote which was easily and reasonably updated when several months later we modified the scope of, and initiated, the project.

This cabinet contractor was recommended on Angies list along with another cabinet contractor. After meeting with both contrators we decided to go with Kitchen Tune Up because we liked a particular door design, color and finish. they carried. Paul, the company owner, arrived at the appointed hour and talked with us about our likes and dislikes. He had many samples of products with him and also reviewed other products and finished kitchens on the ipad he brought with him. After we decided on the style of cabinet doors and fronts, Paul made rough measurements and provided a cost estimate. The cabinet and doors were custom made and shipped to Paul and crew about 5 weeks later and installed several day s afterwards. Everything was installed by an employee named John over a 3 day period. Jonathon was punctual and extremely meticulous. The cabinet he made,on site, is of the best quality. When one of the custom made cabinet doors didn't meet Kitchen Tune Up's exacting requirements, Jonathon cut the received cabinet to fit and mounted it on the cabinet until the correct cabinet door was sent by the cabinet makers about 3 weeks later. We are extremely satisfied with the finished product and, more than that, extremely satisfied with the service provided by Paul and his employees. We are definitely going to talk to these people about our bathroom requirements in the near future.

From start to finish, I couldn't be more pleased. Paul Climer is so professional and great to work with. The quality of the work and the workers is absolutely top drawer! Before Kitchen Tune Up, I absolutely hated my kitchen and the ugly cabinets. Now I love, love, love my kitchen! I can't believe how beautiful and functional it is now.

I found Paul Climer and Kitchen Tune Up online. Everything I could find about them was positive. We invited Paul to our home to give us his ideas and a bid. We were so confident in what Paul presented and the way that he presented it that when his bid arrived the very next day, a day earlier than he had promised, we immediately called him and signed the contract. Paul is punctual to the minute and so is Jonathan. The work was done as promised and installed at the time promised. They carefully covered all of our new laminate floors and left our house immaculate when they were done. Jonathan worked diligently and thoughtfully. We are totally impressed with these two gentlemen and the quality of their work and their professionalism. I can hardly wait for our kitchen to need a facelift because I know I will, once again, love the result of their creativity.

It went rather well and quick. The efficiency was awesome and actually helped so that we could move in to our home faster. Paul was very communicative and accommodating

I THINK I AM STILL SO SUPRISED.......how smoothly the whole process ran.......Jonathan, the young man who did the installation, is FABULOUS............his Craftmanship is stellar !!! I would RECOMMEND KITCHEN TUNE UP without a doubt ........on a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 20 !! They have made my dream come true to have a Kitchen I can now be proud to show off..........Many friends have already come to see for themselves and cant believe the transformation, other Contractors have in come to my home to perform other work and commented on what a GREAT JOB, they stated they have seen some NOT SO GREAT WORK OUT THERE.

Wish I got this level of service from every contractor. Making appointments, keeping communication flowing and completing the project on time, is all anyone asks. Paul was great would definitely recommend him.

. Mr. Climer kept all appointments as scheduled with me on time. He and his crew arrived at the time promised, covered the adjoining areas and did a beautiful job on my cabinets, they look like new! They even put new matching hardware on cabinets in an adjoining room even though those cabinets didn't require the refinishing process. Though they had anticipated coming back the following day,that was not necessary as they finished the entire kitchen in one day. I could not be more pleased with the job they did!

This was a great experience. They arrived on time and were done eight hours later, as promised. they were very professional and eager to please. Given that I have a large kitchen with many cabinets, I believe the price was fair. My cabinets look like new again.

Paul sat down and had a consultation with us and explained the process.. Once we scheduled the appointment they showed up on time and quickly finished the job. We are so happy.

It could not have gone better! Paul and his crew were on time and understood the importance of keeping the space clean. At the end of the day you could hardly tell they had been there. Paul was extremely helpful in helping us determine the best products for our space. He had no problem coming out half a dozen times to bring us samples and we never felt pressured. We are now having him do additional cabinets in the hallway and laundry room. I would recommend him highly.

Paul is very professional, friendly and helpful. He even helped my handyman carry a new toilet upstairs when he was giving me an estimate! Some of new pulls' screws were too short, and he brought in new screws with the right length. Our worn cabinets look a lot better, but the one under the kitchen sink still looks somewhat beaten up - I guess there is only so much you can do with refinishing. Hopefully we don't have to do it again soon! :-)

When we interviewed Mr. Paul Climer we were very impressed withhis professionalism and product knowledge. Paul was very helpful as we combined his ideas with ours. He provided a written proposal right on the spot so that we new exactly what we were getting, start date, and the total cost.The installation took a week and was performed by Jonathan, a young man who takes pride inhis work. We are very pleased with the job Jonathan performed. He was always on time, andcleaned up his work area at the end of each day. Jonathan exuded the same professionalism asPaul.....Good team!

Paul came to Pahrump and brought several samples of kitchen doors, hardware, etc. He also brought a notebook filled with pictures of projects he had completed. He was very kind and helpful in helping us choose materials for our kitchen and bathroom. He always called a few days ahead of an appointment to confirm his arrival and always arrived on time. Jonathan came to do all the measuring and he actually did most of the installation work. He was very neat and tidy. Paul and Jonathan are both perfectionists, which we really appreciated. If they saw any slight imperfection in a door they would reorder the door and make another trip to Pahrump to install it. They built a beutiful wine rack under my small kitchen island. I love it!! Overall, we were so pleased with Kitchen Tune Up and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to give their kitchen a facelift without going to the expense of tearing out all existing cupboards. It saved us sevaral thousand dollars!!

This is the second project that they have done for me. Extremely easy to deal with. Always professional, courteous, dependable and very clean. Planning my next projects for them to complete.

I recently purchased a foreclosure. The cabinets were in horrible shape. After refacing with Kitchen Tune-Ups, they are beautiful. The work that was performed is exceptional with close attention to detail. Paul is always accessible and easy to work with. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a brand new look without the expense of replacing cabinets.

Mr. Climer explained his process of restoration and gave us an estimation. We contacted the company and sat up a date. Mr. Climer was just as prompt on his second visit to our house as he was on his first visit. He covered the floors and staircase. (I also had the cabinets restored in the master bathroom. These were the worst but he made them look as good as the first day we moved into our house.) I was very satisfied with all the cabinets. Everything was completely cleaned up. Mr. Climer did a terrific job in a very professional manner. I would use him again, when needed, for the rest of the house.

We were initially pretty happy with them but he had to come back and redo it. Some of the varnish came off later and I just went ahead and took care of it myself. They had told me to call them back if there were any problems but I didn't and took it into my own hands. I put on some varnish and saved a lot of money. The price was reasonable when compared to some of the bigger companies in the business. They told me to call them back in two years and they would resurface it but I just don't whether that is going to happen. I think that I can take care of it myself.
